Hard to find the sugar free at the supermarket and I would like to drink it everyday. Do try it with 1 cup milk, 1/2 cup seltzer, Nestle Instant Breakfast and a few ice cubes in the blender. Absolutely delicious almost like a chocolate egg cream.
Delicious!! Quick and nutritious. Mixs easily with milk or water. Pefect for on the go. I really like the Chocolate Malted Milk Flavor best, but this is almost as good. Creamy-I don't miss the sugar.

The no sugar version of Carnation Breakfast Essentials is often hard to find so I buy it from Amazon on a subscription basis. I think it tastes delicious and goes well with regular milk or in my case, almond milk. It is a nice way to start breakfast without going on a "sugar kick". And it has vitamins and minerals added to help ensure a healthy breakfast. I do usually eat something else with it, though.

I had not tried this product for many years--in the old days it was called "Instant Breakfast" and I remember using it as a quick meal "back in the day."
I found I was skipping breakfast in my hurry to get out the door some mornings, which caused me to sink by noon. A friend mentioned these and said they were pretty good. I checked my local grocery store, and they only had a couple of flavors, none that appealed to me, so I ordered the milk chocolate (my old favorite) from amazon. I decided to try the sugar-free version with the thought to "doctor it up" if it was yucky. In fact, when I got my order, for the first one I put the mix in the blender with milk and ice cubes to make it tasty.
Well, it WAS tasty made as a "milk shake" but that also takes an extra minute or two, plus washing the blender. So the next time, I just mixed it with milk in a glass, stirring with a spoon. First, it blends very easily with milk, making a nice creamy drink in seconds. More important, it tastes GOOD. Not "OK" but actually good! Hard to believe it has no sugar.
I usually drink non-fat milk, but I mix these with whole milk. I find that, aside from making the drink creamier, the fat in the milk gives the drink more staying power. Since the mix itself is non-fat, the 8 grams in the milk is not excessive for a meal replacement drink.

I had gastric sleeve surgery feb2012 and did not care for the protein shakes , so i turned to sugar free instant breakfast i drink 2x a day! I only wish they sold just strawberry, i dislike the vanilla and sometimes get tired of the chocolate. Have written the company with no reply just a coupon!!
I bought the Dark Choco Mint, as I fell in love with the Earnest Eats Choco Peanut Butter bars. Hmmmm...It seemed like a good idea at the time, as my favorite flavor combination is chocolate and mint. Not so much. They're okay. Makes me think of eating chocolate and then brushing my teeth. Admittedly, I would trade my Choco Mint in for Choco Peanut Butter in a flash...
