Chex Cinnamon Cereal, 13.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 3)

Chex Cinnamon Cereal, 13.5-Ounce BoxesI've been gluten-free since 2007 and I believe I've been eating Chex cereal for most of that time. I love the taste and my stomach and body feel fine even after a big bowl. I have yet to find an alternative that tastes better. In addition, this is far cheaper than any of the brands that identify themselves as gluten-free. I find the cinnamon to be even better than the rice or corn chex, but also a bit pricier. Adding cinnamon to the regular cereals gives the same effect.

good hint of cinnamon, not strong at all and gluten free.

didn't know what to expect but I was very very pleased.

I absolutely LOVE this variety of Chex. Great taste of Cinnamon! Still tasty when soggy after sitting awhile (kids don't let me sit long enough to eat a full bowl all at once).

I first tried this when on sale at the grocery store for $2/box. Wish I'd bought 100 boxes at that price!!! Amazon, please make this a core item and add to Subscribe & Save. Pretty please?

Chiarezza Cereal, Almighty Mango Goji, 9 Ounce

Chiarezza Cereal, Almighty Mango Goji, 9 OunceI bought this to mix in with my oatmeal in the morning and it is so good! I've been buying Qia Superfoods brand Cherry Vanilla flavor and love that one, too. This was a nice switch up. It's full of great, healthy ingredients, bulks up my oatmeal and gives me the energy and nutrition I need after my morning run/workout and best of all it tastes great!!

I buy the Quaker perfect portions oatmeal in maple and mix one serving of each with 8 oz of hot water from my Keurig, stir and let it sit for a few min and then stir in one packet of truvia sweetener...BLISS!!

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more satisfying, healthy breakfast with whole grains and full of nutrition.

Living Intentions Cacao Crunch Super food Cereal (3/9 oz)

Living Intentions Cacao Crunch Super food CerealI've recently given this cereal a stellar review already, and my opinion of it hasn't changed. Living Intentions Cacao Crunch Super Food Cereal continues to be a wonderful food to experience.

Its a superfood so I eat it. As well as range fed beef, completely organic supplements, and I have a reverse osmosis syster for my water. I understand its very very very good for my body, but it tastes like poop. Poop and cacao. This stuff is 'off the chart good for you' though, so if you can stomach it, Do It.

Quaker Oatmeal Squares, Crunchy Oatmeal Cereal with a Hint of Brown Sugar, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of

Quaker Oatmeal Squares, Crunchy Oatmeal Cereal with a Hint of Brown Sugar, 16-Ounce BoxesThese are totally delicious, and also one of the few breakfast cereals without high fructose corn syrup (even All Bran has that). They are a bit sugary but not too sweet. Certainly filling and just what I like for breakfast, and so do my kids.

I'm not sure why Amazon isn't doing this on subscribe and save (at least when I'm writing this), but seeing as almost every grocery store I know of runs out of these on a fairly regular basis, probably worth getting from Amazon.

I grew up eating Quaker Oatmeal Squares, and they're still my favorite cereal and a great source of fiber I tried Fiber One for a while, but the aspartame in it gave me headaches and Fiber One leaves an awful aftertaste. Quaker's doesn't have aspartame, and there's tasty brown sugar which gives it just the right amount of sweetness (the cinnamon sugar one is really good too!)

What I love about Quaker Oatmeal Squares is that they're perfectly delicious with or without milk. They're super crunchy without, and after soaking in milk for a while they absorb the liquid and become like cereal-milk gushers. I personally like that, but for those who don't, you can always just eat the cereal immediately after adding milk.

This is a wonderful breakfast cereal! It is one of the few I found that is tasty, filling, and also relatively healthy. Most other cereals are overly-sugared, but Quaker Oatmeal Squares have just the right amount of sweetness. It's also especially filling. I've seen Amazon have the product on subscribe and save, but at the time of this review it's unavailable, so I'd check back. I purchased it through subscribe and save and saved almost 40% off the retail price in the grocery store.

I was so excited about this cereal when I tried it. I bought it off Amazon here and when it arrived I dug in. Well I had a headache and nausea episode quickly following. I suppose I ate too much as the little sample I tried before did nothing to me. It has to be the food dye as any other cereal didn't do that to me. I used to be allergic to yellow #5 and #6 before (it would make me jump off the walls as a kid!). I thought I outgrew it. Maybe this is an "adult" allergy. Quaker, keep the food dyes out! I love your dye-free oatmeal, why does this have to be so different?

This used to be my favorite cereal and I still really like it. However, over the years they have sweetened it more and more and it's just not as good as it once was.

Country Choice Organic Oven Toasted Steel Cut Oats, 30-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 6)

Country Choice Organic Oven Toasted Steel Cut Oats, 30-Ounce CanistersRecently I've substituted steel cut oats for our cereal of choice after years of eating rolled oats (both regular and quick cook). I've tried McCanns and Country Choice, and since there are many reviews already posted, I'll slant mine based on Taste (mouth), Flavor (nose), Preparation, and Value.

I rate Taste (nutty and chewy) and Flavor (pleasant aroma) a dead heat (5*). I also looked at the Nutrition Labels of McCanns, Country Choice, and Quaker's rolled oats, both regular and instant. List included calories, total fats, carbs, fiber, and protein and all were virtually identical from a nutritional standpoint

Preparation. I've cooked all types of oatmeal via stove top but have not used the microwave. However, for the steel cut oats I also used a rice cooker, a Zojirushi model that had the capability for making porridge (this is the setting you want to use for steel cut oats), and this model had a timer that could be set in advance to finish cooking at a predetermined time. Although use of the rice cooker still requires a passage of time, actual cooking is automatic, whereas using the stovetop required at least 25-30 minutes of simmering and close supervision to prevent scorching. (Of course, rolled oats takes less time.)

Value: McCann's oats comes in a very attractive and elegant metal container (28 oz) and stresses the fact that it's Irish in origin whereas Country Choice comes in a cardboard container(30 oz) similar to the rolled oats type and boasts the fact that it is home grown (Minnesota) and is certified "organic." It should be noted that McCann also packages its steel cut oats in a cardboard box (16 oz). If you make your purchase via Amazon (current prices) and disregard the shipping expense, the per ounce cost is: McCann's 28 oz container cost 20.6 cents, McCann's 16 oz container cost 19.13 cents, and Country Choice cost 11.27 cents.

Since my personal evaluation finds both products even in Taste and Flavor, and both have similar cooking methodologies, my FIVE STAR choice is for the home grown, organic certified Country Choice which is also a big budget saver.

I love irish oats. This style of oats is simply the best bowl of cereal period. I eat at least one bowl everyday. That said, all steel cut oats are NOT the same. As many people know, there is no comparison to the taste of Mccann's Irish oats. Why are they better? Honestly, I don't know. Maybe because they're Irish. Anyway, I have previously tried other types of steel cut oats and quite honestly, they were no comparison. Well one day recently, when I was shopping and realized that I was out of Mccann's, I found that my grocery store was out. Right next to the spot was this brand of oats. I had tried the Country Choice Rolled Oat and Multigrain cereals, and they are both great. So I figured I'd give it a try. They are very, very good. These are as close to Mccann's as you can get. Since they are about half the price of Mccann's, I figure i will switch between these two. In summary, these are a great choice if you can't get Mccann's or if you prefer a cheaper breakfast.

These oats are a staple for breakfast at my house. I completely agree with the other reviews and wanted to add one small detail regarding cooking the oats. These are not instant oats. They take some time to prepare so don't expect a quick breakfast with this product. The benefit to cooking the oats for 30 minutes is that the long cooking time actually expands the oats to approximately four times their volume. One cup of oats expands to four servings of hot delicious ready-for-brown sugar and cinnamon goodness!! Also, these oats are by far the best deal when you take a look at the serving size and cost per ounce.

Thanks to a tip from a friend we recently bought a Zojirushi rice cooker which also has a "Porridge" setting. Wow, are these oats ever delicious when cooked that way. We will never go back to rolled oats and it is terrific to have such an easy way to make them perfectly. As much as I love this product, I don't love Amazon's price. I just bought two 30 oz containers of this exact product at our local Trader Joe's for only $2.29 each.

The Country Choice brand is domestically produced and certified organic by Oregon Tilth and is significantly less expensive than the imported brands as a bonus.

These oats are of such high quality that I admit to sometimes eating them uncooked with milk and a few raisins or dried tart cherries. (Yes, it gives the old jaws a bit of a workout.)

I also eat these steel cut oats for dessert by preparing them just like rice pudding: oats, water, raisins, milk, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon in that order of quantity, cooked slowly according to the directions on the label but not overcooked, to retain chewiness. To make it even better, I top it with sour cream or whipped cream when serving. Delicious and absolutely outrageously rich in healthy fiber: 4g per 1/4 cup of dry oats.

The quality is superb; always very fresh, fairly uniform, free of foreign objects with a very pure oat taste.

I also like that the paper container takes less toll on the environment to manufacture and ship than a metal container and is also easily recycled.

Highly recommended.

J&D's Peppered Bacon Salt, Low Sodium, 2-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 3)

J&D's Peppered Bacon Salt, Low Sodium, 2-Ounce BottleThose of us who must limit sodium intake tend to be desperate for palatable low-sodium seasonings and grateful when we find them. BaconSalt has leapt way beyond merely "palatable," however, and brought new seasoning products to market that can make salt-hungry, bacon-deprived deprived folk like us absolutely giggle with delight. When we first learned about BaconSalt, we bought one of each flavor (the basics on Amazon, some special ones on the company website), plus extras for gifts. We sent a half-price gift package to loved ones at an APO address (as of this writing, the company actually gives military buyers/recipients a 50% discount -imagine that!). We have no interest in the company, BTW ... we're just happy consumers grateful to find that we needn't abandon the savory flavors of bacon in the pursuit of good health.

This is a great product but use it sparingly to get just a hint of bacon flavor. Too much and you'll get that Bac-Os like aftertaste.

It won't convert lead into gold or dry turkey breast into crispy smoked bacon but if you yearn for that slight bacon-y goodness in some macaroni and cheese or green salad, this will do the trick.

Just ordered some Baconnaise ... expect good things to happen!

I like to pan fry some burgers every once in awhile and adding this to the beef gives you a subtle hint of bacon along with that pepper kick. I think this is a great addition to the spice rack.

Bacon salt is the best invention since sliced bread. Put it on everything! Popcorn, eggs, pizza, meats. Works best as a finishing seasoning.

Udi's Natural Original Granola, 13-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)

Udi's Natural Original Granola, 13-Ounce BagsI bought this item for the first time in Santa Cruz while visiting a friend there. When I returned to the bay area I looked in every store I could for it and found it at one quite a distance from my home. I was so happy to find it on Amazon. I buy the pack of 6 and go through it in a month. Its all I want for breakfast... not oatmeal or eggs for me anymore. That's why I say, caution this is addictive.

Enjoy the best granola you'll ever eat. I love the fresh nuts but there are too many raisins for my taste but I pick them out. That's the only thing I'd change.. take out the raisins.

This granola is fantastic, as are ALL of Udi's granolas. Not only are they gluten free, but they have an awesome simple ingredient list. They are sweetened simply with honey, which I really appreciate. I hate it when there are multiple sugars or things like brown rice syrup in my food. I try to eat as simply as possible. This granola fits the bill. I love it on ice cream, yogurt, or just by itself. I am so happy that Amazon.com offers it in bulk too because the price is great and I am CRUISING through it. Glad to have a lot of it in the house! I highly recommend this to anyone searching for a delicious, simple, and gluten free granola.

Delicious item. Tastes fresh from Amazon. Packages were a little smashed upon receipt, but it doesn't bother me. I like to break up each package and then take them as on the go snacks. My kids love it too. Much cheaper than from Whole Foods, which is the only other place I have seen this.

I've ordered the sample six-pack and figured I'd have granola for a very long time. Wrong. My husband started eating it for a late night snack and then started eating it for breakfast and I was lucky to get a couple of bowls for myself.

We like all the flavors, but I like the "Original" best. I enjoy the crunchy, freshness and it's not overly sweet like many granolas are. I'd rather add a little honey than gag on super sweet cereal.

highly recommended!

Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted, 3 pound box (two 1.5 pound bags)

Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted, 3 pound boxThis is my first time using "subscribe and save", and it has been quite worth it. And the kids like getting a huge box like this.

I did purchase some plastic containers as the big box is kind of hard to pour out of, but I'm about to receive my second shipment of the cereals that I purchased through subscribe and save. The program is pretty neat I cancelled the shipment that was supposed to arrive while we were on vacation, and I just ordered an "extra" shipment to replace that one. Pretty handy, and very little work.

And you can't beat the price.

I have been subscribed to this for about 6 months now and go through the two pack on a monthly basis usually. Haven't had any problems with it and the cereal is delicious.

Cereal came as advertized. The outer box itself was a tad dented on the edges. The cereal itself was not crushed so all is good. We would order cereal online again.

There is not a whole lot to say about this product, since it is the same cereal you may find in your local grocery store. This product comes in a box that looks about appropriate for a warehouse club store wrapped in a green plastic wrap. With Subscribe & Save and Amazon Prime, the cost per ounce is reduced to make this product a more cost efficient option than purchasing at the local store. Of course, it does go on sale from time to time, at which point you would want to reevaluate for yourself.

Cherry Walnut Granola, 1 lb.

Cherry Walnut Granola, 1 lb.I'm not a fan of granola by any means: at least not until now. I have tried making my own on many occasions but the mess, expense, amount of ingredients to keep on hand and the less than satisfactory results have pretty much turned me off. I purchased this product in 3 flavors as a last ditch effort: Cherry Walnut, Almond and Maple Walnut. They arrived together in 2 days, well packaged, fresh and crunchy. Did I mention FLAVORFUL? I am a true convert. This is the best. While I like all 3, my favorite is the Maple Walnut, followed by the Almond and then Cherry Walnut (mostly because the huge dried cherries taste more like golden raisins than cherries, but still very good. I should also mention that while the dried cherries are about the size of the bowl of a teaspoon and look like they are soft and pliable, they are very hard and take a lot of careful chewing, after which they become sticky. I didn't find that texture pleasant). And when the ingredients listed walnuts or almonds, I figured it would be microscopic smooshed up pieces mixed in so small I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a sesame seed and a piece of walnut or almond. BUT, the almonds are large pieces or whole almonds while the walnuts well, the walnuts are planet-sized: sometimes 1/2 of an entire walnut and there are tons of them in a single bag of this granola. The maple walnut is the only one I find a bit on the sticky side, but not like caramel popcorn sticky-just a bit tacky. I've already used this in yogurt, cottage cheese, oatmeal, as a snack in mid afternoon, in salads, pancakes and yesterday morning, I made Bisquick biscuits and added some of all 3 flavors as an experiment. The biscuits were marvelous. Now, if I could only remember WHAT I did so I can make them again with the same success! Try this. I don't think you'll be disappointed. If you are, you can send it to me!! :)
