Erin Baker's Breakfast Cookie Chocolate Chunk, Vegan, 3-Ounce Individually Wrapped Cookies (Pack of

Erin Baker's Breakfast Cookie Chocolate Chunk, Vegan, 3-Ounce Individually Wrapped CookiesI was so excited to get these because I thought it would be a great healthy snack to keep at my desk. I ordered these and other flavor (double chocolate chunk) and after eating a couple of each, noticed that one of the cookies had bluish green mold on it. I assumed it was a bad one in the batch. I saw on the manufacturer's website that these should be stored in the freezer since the shelf life is 90 days (due to natural ingredients and no preservatives). I immediately put them in the freezer after getting them 3 weeks earlier. The next 4 cookies I opened had that same mold on it and after I examine the rest, I found that they all were moldy. Apparently Amazon had them stored in their warehouse for a while before I rec'd them. Since there were no dates stamped on the cookies, I have no idea how long they sat in the warehouse before I got them.

I will not be ordering these again and will be wary of ordering other food products from Amazon.com. They were great about refunding my money and I will continue to purchase from amazon, just not short shelf life food items.

I'm a veg who makes vegan baked goods and generally uses applesauce or banana as an egg substitute, so I'm no stranger to fruit in baking. However, these cookies have an overwhelming fruity aroma, smell and taste, that I found hard to like and even swallow. I'm guessing it might be the prune puree in the ingredients. Oh and there were a disappointing number of chocolate chips in them one cookie had two small chocolate chunks. With no chocolate to compensate for the fruity aroma 2 stars.

However, I find these filling and better with a big cup of coffee. So if you like fruitiness and want something filling for a breakfast on the go, this can be a good vegan breakfast item.

Vegan. Natural. Kosher. Big cookie. Mild delicious chocolate flavor. Very soft with some chewy oats mixed in. Kind of big for a snack, but is nice for quick breakfast or meal replacement. Substantial. Vegans will especially find these cookies useful, nourishing, and convenient. 310 calories per cookie. 6g of protein. This cookie was a Vegan Grocery *** TRIPLE+ *** in the 24 pack, which is no longer available. Hopefully the good word will again flourish for the benefit of everyone. Also really like Erin Baker's Breakfast Cookie Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk, Vegan, 3-Ounce Packages (Pack of 12) which has been popular with the Community. I believe this is the first 'vegan' product I have ever knowingly tried that is touted as vegan. The title 'vegan' in anything rather tends to scare me (as in my ignorance I have nothing to compare vegan items to, coupled with a sincere love of dairy).

However, Amazon dropped the price of these to a point where I could no longer deny my family trying them.

Here is the best that I can do to describe the taste (and please, my vegan friends, do not have a stroke at the level of my simplicity I mean no disrespect):

They taste like cookie dough cookies not cooked. If you like/enjoy cookie dough you should love these cookies. My entire family does/did (past tense as the entire 12 cookies were WOLFED down by my cookie-dough loving crew).

NOTE: if taken from a FROZEN state (where we store all our Erin Baker's Breakfast Cookies), they require only **20** seconds to totally heat up. The non-vegan varieties we heat for 30 seconds and still have a cold-spot or two. These TOTALLY heat through, for us, in 20 seconds and are unbelievably delicious.

I heard about these cookies many, many years ago from Weight Watchers meetings. I used to eat them a lot, but had basically forgotten about them. While running a search on Amazon, these popped up and, seeing they were vegan (I am now a vegetarian, attempting to eat vegan as much as possible), I had to try them. They are every bit as magically delicious as their non-vegan counterparts that I ate many years ago. I store them in the freezer, as recommended, and I pop them in the toaster oven on "toast" for about 5 minutes (microwaving them works, toasting is just better tasting if you have a few extra minutes adds a bit of toasty crunch on the outer layer, while still leaving the cookie moist and chewy exactly how I like them!). At around 300 calories, they are very filling without going overboard, and full of healthy, natural ingredients. If I am super hungry, I add a soy yogurt and an apple and I can go until dinner on this filling meal. I LOVE these cookies!

Quaker Instant Oatmeal Variety Pack, 52 Packets

Quaker Instant Oatmeal Variety Pack, 52 PacketsI purcahsed this oatmeal variety pack assuming I would receive the various flavors listed in the picture such as banana bread and cinnamon roll.

Nope.

I get a box with just 4 flavors including 13 packets of original. Who in God's names wants original quater oatmeal via packet? If you are going to deliver pain like that, then ad and description should state so accordingly.

Will not be making this mistake again.

I live in California and have an elderly Aunt in Mississippi. She does not drive and has to depend on others for trips to the grocery store. The prices for things like Oatmeal may not always be competitive with places like Walmart or Costco, but ordering grocery items through amazon.com is a great way for me to help out my Aunt. I just talked to her on the phone while she dictated her shopping list.

Thank you for this service, amazon.com!

I like the large variety of oatmeal but less that a week after purchasing this on Amazon (with Amazon Prime) for $18.59 on March 20th, I went to Costco and found the same exact product for $9.39. Save your money and buy it somewhere else.

What is pictured and what you recieve is not the same! The picture when I ordered had 6 or 7 different flavors pictured, one being banana, which is the main reason I ordered and I recieved only original flavors. I will not recommend this seller and will never order from them again!

Back To Nature Cranberry Pecan Granola, 12-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6)

Back To Nature Cranberry Pecan Granola, 12-Ounce PouchesI have just been told by 'back to NATURE' that this has been discontinued.

We started noticing that it was disappearing from shelves all over our area about 2 months ago. We asked every place to check for availability, yet never heard anything other than it is backordered.

I used 'back to NATURE' website to do the 'contact us' thing twice and never received a response.

I came to Amazon while searching online and placed myself on the notify when this product becomes available list.

Today I decided to try and call back to NATURE. I spoke with the person that answered the phone, she said she could help, and after discussing my difficulty finding the product she offered to 'research' and get back to me. I must note she attempted to collect quite of bit of personal information. She assured me that I could simply go back to the local groceries and ask why they were not stocking it however I insisted that it was not available anywhere nor here on Amazon so the problem was not my grocer.

I wasn't quite accepting her quick 'research, get back to me, and get of the phone approach' so I asked to talk to someone else and she got me on the line with her supervisor Lizzy.

After reviewing the above and being offered a 'research and get back' solution I was a bit more insistant and it was then that she said '.. that product had been discontinued due to a lack of sales and once discontinued it is inlikely that it will become available again...'. At this point I was more than just a bit disapointed and shared with her that in my local market the 'Cranberry Pecan Granola' just happened to be the only one of their granola selections that was always selling out, week after week over the last several years and I found it curious that the one selection that did appear to sell was discontinued.

I guess it is only popular here!

My husband and I tried several brands of Granola as a topping for our morning yogurt. Back to Nature Cranberry Pecan was the best, by far. When

our local markets stopped stocking it, we went online to find sources. We

order six to ten bags each time. This is one product that needs no

improvement. It is the perfect balance of crunch, chewiness, and flavor. It

makes a small breakfast filling and satisfying enough for the entire morning.

I tried this brand of granola a few years ago and have never bought another... I just read that the Back to Nature granolas might be discontinued? I hope not, it seems to be popular where I can get it in the store. The only drawback for me is its price, but it tastes great, does NOT have soy (which I am allergic to), and they are a supporter of the Nature Concervancy. Absolutely a great product.

Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Cereal Almond -- 16 oz

Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Cereal Almond -- 16 ozIf you want to "eat clean" and get the most nutrition for your caloric intake, this is the best cereal available, period. If you are used to eating "candy" cereals, your taste buds will not be satisfied. However, I eat it nearly every day with almond milk, pomogranite arils and berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberrys or any combo) and I LOVE IT!!! It's very satisfying! 6 grams of fiber, 3 grams of fat! I want to get more disciplined about eating clean, but I'm not there yet. I've switched from milk chocolate to dark chocolate, which I've always hated...and being 50 that's saying A LOT!! But I stayed away from white sugar for a few weeks and when I tried the intense dark it tasted sweeter to me than in the past. The point is, your taste buds get "trained." Don't let the other reviewer sway you in your quest for good nutrition. Stay away from sweets a little while and it's amazing how your taste buds will find the sweetness found naturally in foods like this cereal. Also, I would not describe the texture as rubbery at all. If I want a little less crunch, I let the almond milk sit on the cereal for a while before eating. Can't do that with corn flakes! Seriously, this cereal comes highly recommended from top nutritionists because it's the only one that provides the whole, sprouted grain--and it's organic to boot!

1 out of 4 rated because I disliked the taste and texture was very poor to almost rubbery-like. The taste was not familiar and could not be edible to me. Unfortunately, I discarded the entire thing and filed an A-to-Z guaranteed claim!

There are no recommendations but the only solution is for some to know and prefer almond nuts while others may not have an individual experience with this item. The purchase then may be preferrably based upon recipe/blended choice.

Bergin Nut Company Oatmeal Quick Cooking, 32-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)

Bergin Nut Company Oatmeal Quick Cooking, 32-Ounce BagsI purchased a case of this in February for my husband. He has been eating oatmeal every morning for the past 5 years, and declared this to be the best he's ever tried. Taste and texture are much better than anything we've had before. Great Product.

Pop-Tarts, Frosted Blueberry, 12-Count Tarts (Pack of 12)

Pop-Tarts, Frosted Blueberry, 12-Count TartsPop tarts are fantastic and the frosted blueberry is delicious. This by far is a great deal. Family size packages adding up to 144 tarts. For a quick snack they are perfect.

Poptarts what can one say? They are prepackaged somewhat tasteless sugar dough pastry enveloping an overly sweetened inside filling that pretends to be fruit like. There is a hard, crusty sugar icing that softens up with the pastry in the toaster. The blueberry is my favorite flavor of the bunch tastes most like blueberry for me. My kids love them, and think they are one of the best emergency treats they can get. I don't get it, but my kids and I don't always think alike regarding food.

Advantage they last forever. Great emergency snack to pack in the trunk of a car.

Disadvantage they last forever. I can't imagine what preservatives are in there that make them imperishable. Bland tasting.

JUST A QUICK FYI NOTE This is shipped in a big HEAVY box. The box was shipped in a larger Amazon box. This results in the interior box clanking around in the larger outside box. And due to the best efforts of our favorite delivery providers, many of the poptarts get crunched. Amazon was kind enough to assist with this issue, but you should know that the big, heavy box does take it's toll on the rather crumbly pastries inside during shipping.

The amount of pop tarts you get through this purchase is pretty insane.. good thing they last for a long time. I tend to eat these when either I'm in a hurry or too lazy to make something. I would also throw one of these in my pack (inside a tin) when heading to school. The flavor is pretty decent but I think just the sheer amount will make you sick of them (if eating them all yourself). The part that gets old first is the frosting and if I ever were to buy a heap of tarts again, I would buy unfrosted. The frosting just gets to be a bit overwhelming when you have that many.

If you enjoy Pop-Tarts and blueberry taste then you will like these. Purchased them on Amazon when they had them on sale and it was a really good price. Only thing I suggest is that you read the ingredients first since if I recall correctly they did not contain any actual blueberry's and use artificial sugars.
