General Mills, Peanut Butter Toast Crunch, 12oz Box (Pack of 4)
5 stars for in-box aroma but 1 star for bland flavor = 3 star product. Mediocre. I won't be buying this again from the local grocery. The taste of Peanut Butter Toast Crunch is, at-least in comparison to it's Cinnamon predecessor, surprisingly, thus disappointingly, bland. It's made with real peanut butter; the fourth listed ingredient; but it's not quite peanut-buttery enough. It's certainly not sweet enough, despite its signature sugar coating. Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch, for example, gets it right. This stuff is just okay.

Having liked the cinnamon flavor and being a peanut butteraholic, I decided to try it. Its the same texture as the cinnamon (no surprise there), but I didn't think it was peanut buttery enough, at least compared to other peanut butter flavored cereals such as Reese's Puffs.Read Best Reviews of General Mills, Peanut Butter Toast Crunch, 12oz Box (Pack of 4) Here
I agree with the other reviewers that gave this low ratings for a weird taste and semi-peanut butter taste. If you can imagine a "diet peanut butter" lightly spread on a plan texture like toast crunch, that may be the closest I can think to describe it with words.I got these on sale locally but wouldn't pay for this again unless I had no other choice for a cheap cereal.

Had this cereal back in 2004 (I guess). Husband and I totally FELL IN LOVE with them then. We loved them since they were SO PEANUT BUTTERY good! Having my first bowl now but jury is still out. I mixed it with what bran so I can't tell if it was as peanut buttery as the last time it was produced. If this new "formulation" is as peanut buttery as the one several years ago... then General Mills will DEFINITELY take the market back. Please make it as it was before. I'll be back for an updated review once I finish a bowl or two.Nestle Cerelac Wheat with Milk Cereal, 17.6-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 3)

I grew up with cerelac. I still buy it for myself whenever i find it, and have a bowl at breakfast occasionally.I started giving it to my daughter at 9 months. she is picky with food, but she likes it. It is very quick to prepare.
As others have stated, i can rarely find it in stores in the US. I have only seen it on and off at a Persian store.
When it becomes available on Amazon, i'll put my order.
I hope it does not get back ordered a lot!

Very nutritious, tasty, mixes easily with milk or water, does not need added sugar.Made of wheat. I used to drink it with milk when I was a child, and I just loved it!.It is a typical kids cereal in many countries of South America, and in Spain as well.Boulder Canyon Garden Select Red Ripe Tomato Vegetable Crisps, 5-Ounce
Nature's Path Organic Hemp Plus Instant Hot Oatmeal, 8-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)
The flavor is somewhat bland, which allows one to be creative with add-ins! (I prefer to add raisins, dried cranberries, and/or cinnamon to mine).
The nutritional information is great, especially the plant derived Omega and added whole flax seeds, but I wish there was less added sugar in it though.
All in all, I am happy this is my breakfast every morning, as I get myself off to a healthy start each day!I personally really like this flavor, it's not sickeningly sweet but has a little something extra, a nice richness to it. Almost a hint of nuttiness i'd say, as one other reviewer already noted.
I do try to mostly eat plain oatmeal as I am trying to get my sugar intake down as much as possible. No more sugary-sweet breakfast bars for me! Since I can't stand plain yogurt but i think oatmeal tastes fine without all the added sugar, this is one area in which I try to eliminate it. Plus I like to add a handful of freeze dried blueberries & strawberries into my oatmeal so that adds a few grams of sugar right there. However, this is a nice option to have for those days when I am craving something a little different. The sugar content, at 6 grams, is a few grams less than most flavored oatmeal which seem to come in around 9-11grams so I will allow it into the rotation once in a while.
I do suggest taking the time to chew this very well since there are whole seeds in it, something that I failed to notice until I prepared the first packet. I may have passed on this flavor as I did the flax plus flavor had i noticed this at the store, because your body cannot process whole flax seeds. So take care to chew those little suckers up good else they pass straight thru your system and you miss out on their wonderful health benefits. I actually have a bag of ground flax seed that is in a re-sealable package that i keep stored in the fridge, it keeps fresh for several months and it's easy to add a spoonful of this into your oatmeal or cereal.

It's true. If he doesn't get his delicious breakfast oatmeal he freaks out. So we buy it by the case and everyone stays happy. It's a better price than our local grocery. This is a great, easy hot cereal with plenty of fiber and other good stuff. Despite all the added seeds, the flavor is still basic enough to support add-ins like dried fruit, brown sugar, honey, etc. It's also good plain and will keep you satisfied all morning. I also like this brand's cold cereals.Almost every morning I reach for the Organic Hot Oatmeal Hemp Plus. It has more body than the typical grocery store instant oatmeal. It is rich in whole grains and full of fiber. It is not too sweet; I usally add a teaspoon of my favorite sweetener. I highly recommend this product.

B"HI've always thought ready to eat cereals had way too much salt. This way, I get my whole grain rice cereal and it doesn't have added salt (which I don't like anyway ;-)I Purchased this Brand EREWHON Crispy Brown Rice, No Salt and the one with Salt, they are both equally as good, I mix it with raisins, nuts, oats, seeds and I make, Energy Bars, Trailing Mix and my favorite Granola, as well as other good things...I love It! Sometimes, I give them as Gifts. This is the one I always look for, since the first time I bought it and I was hooked! Thank You

It stays crunchy in milk and the malt adds a hint of richness to the flavor. I'd love this cereal even if it wasn't no added sugar and no added salt but it is, which makes it even better :)Skinner's Raisin Bran, Whole Grain Cereal, 13-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4)
from highly processed batter like everyone else. At
Skinner's the grains are just flattened, preserving
the maximum in nutrients. The flakes don't get
instantly soggy like other brands. And the cereal
tastes great.
The biggest issue is poor distribution in many areas.
So on-line ordering helps a lot!I've eaten this raisin bran for 40 years. It's better than all the rest. My only disappointment is that it's becoming increasing difficult to locate. Which is why I have been ordering it here.

I ate Skinners raisin bran growing up, and then one day I went to store--and BLAM, it wasn't sold anymore! Distraught and stomach-broken, I traveled fifteen years through life without this mind-numbingly-good raisin bran, until the internet finally caught up with my needs and presented this classic treat right here on Amazon.com. I don't even subscribe to magazines, but lemme tell you--I subscribe to this darn raisin bran. Four boxes, once a month. My stomach literally sings and dances, and I literally smile every single day now. THAT is what this cereal will do for you. The product tastes good but when you read the ingredients, it falls behind Erewhon brand, in my opinion, in overall nutritive healthfulness.Think Thin Bar, 2.1 Ounce (10 Pack)
The interior is fluffy, practically like the inside of one of those peanut butter easter eggs. The chocolate coating is just ok, and tends to melt in anything other than cool temperatures.
The downer is that the main sweetener is malitol, which causes seriously stinky gas if you are sensitive to it. It IS a natural sweetener, but that doesn't mean it's all good....

Though it's now out of vogue, I'm still a fan of a healthy version of the low carb Atkins style diet. This is the perfect meal bar for that diet (probably great for South Beach, too). It is delicious, the peanut butter is creamy, and the chocolate on the outside is superb. I've used the Atkins bars for years, and they taste of chemicals and artificial sweetners. These Think Think bars, though, are practically candy bars. They have low net carbs (2 for this version, I think). Even when I'm not dieting, I still love this bar. It isn't a large, filling bar, and I can't really eat one to replace a meal, but if you're looking for a snack to cut between meals, or just a desert to eat with a nice cup of coffee at night, this is the bar for you. This price on Amazon can't be beat, either. I pay about $1.7 per bar at Trader Joes, 2.20 a bar at the local megamart (when they have them in stock), and only about a buck fifty here on Amazon. Great deal. I was kind of sketchy ordering food online (though I order everything eles online), but Amazon grocery proved me wrong. Give 'em a try.

The White Chocolate is the most moist and best tasting flavor (in mine and my husbands opinion at least) and I will only be ordering this flavor for now on. I have Celiac Disease and I'm a Type 1 diabetic and also a model and a Las vegas Showgirl so I have to eat healthy, stay fit and look great and these bars are the best for helping at least me, do just that. They are Gluten free which is the best thing and absolutely balanced. My husband who is a very picky doctor who likes these over his past favorite Zone bars. Thank you Think products for making these bars!I loved the taste of these, which is what earned it the high marks (dark chocolate was by far the best, although I've tried some other flavors and enjoyed them somewhat, with the exception of white chocolate). They're a great snack, rather filling and high in protein, although they're a bit smaller than what I'd like. Nevertheless, I wish they didn't advertise its health benefits so much and so deceptively--maltitol also increases blood glucose and is somewhat absorbed, so it is not really a free carbohydrate. "Sugar-free" is just confusing. They should consider sweetening it with sucralose and stop making a big deal about its "natural" qualities--who here thinks that packaged snack bars with a dozen ingredients are "natural" anyway? At the end of the day, I can occasionally tolerate their high price and their ridiculous claims because it just tastes good.Nature's Path Organic, Heritage Flakes, Whole Grains Cereal, 13.25-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

If you like a flake cereal that doesn't sog up in milk, this is it. I personally prefer to have my cereal crunchy down to the bottom of the bowl. My 91yr old father, who has dentures, likes the taste but has a problem chewing them.We have enjoyed these for quite a while, then suddenly they were off the shelves at local stores so we began ordering through Amazon. This cereal's crisp flakes have great flavor without a large amount of sugar or salt. The texture is a little harder than corn flakes, but not too crunchy. Makes a great snack or breakfast. I unpack mine and keep it in air tight glass jars to extend its life. Really good w/milk or w/o milk I would recomend this cereal for anyone who wants too eat healthy. This is the best tasting type of gluten-free cornflakes on the market. Even if you are not gluten-free, it is greateveryone in our family likes it and prefers it to any other brand, gluten-free or not.I used to buy it at Whole Foods, and they stopped carrying it. Instead, they're now carrying a fruit juice sweetened variety which is made by the same company and it is not nearly as good. They offered that I might possibly get it from Amazon now, and I was happy to find it here.
I will be happy to continue buying it from Amazon. We use it all the time and its the best. (We even grind it in a coffee grinder to make a breading for chicken nuggets!)

I like these flakes a lot! However, if you are looking for a strong honey flavor, these do not have it. They are so lightly sweetened that I crushed them and used them as a crumb topping for a chicken casserole! We also used them to make peanut butter cereal bars and the sweetness did not interfere with the recipe. They are a thicker flake than traditional corn flakes, crunchy rather than crispy I will continue purchasing them for breakfast and other recipes as well.
