Nature's Path Organic whole grain brown Crispy rice Gluten free, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Nature's Path Organic whole grain brown Crispy rice Gluten free, 10-Ounce BoxesSo, you're gluten free and you can't eat oats, and maybe there's a corn allergy and or incipient diabetes and all the gluten-free rice cereals have huge amounts of sugar, and what the heck can you eat for breakfast?

This.

It's truly gluten-free, has no sugar, it's not gross, and it's cheap.

Also, being a non-oat eating celiac without incipient diabetes I was looking for a base for homemade honey peanutbutter breakfast bars because gluten free things like Lara Bars cost $1.50 each. I think I may have found the missing ingredient. Very cool.

What more could you ask for other than they are organic and have no additives and therefore perfect? If you're looking for sweet, add a little sugar or honey, that's what I do. But sliced banana works great too. Also great for rice krispie treats but use 5 cups instead of 6 as they are a bit bigger than Rice Krispies.

My husband has celiac disease and is very picky about his GF food. He loves this cereal and I buy it by the case. Works well in a rice crispie treat recipie too for a GF treat.

My 4 year old son who has celiac likes them a lot. Not as much as another brand that tastes like chocolate though, who can blame him. I like that they do not contain too much sugar, but wish they stayed crispier longer and a few added vitamins would be nice. Not complaining though, since this is a SAFE GLUTEN-FREE cereal. :)

Carnation Breakfast ESSENTIALS Chocolate Powder, 17.7-Ounce Jar

Carnation Breakfast ESSENTIALS Chocolate Powder, 17.7 Ounce JarCan't say enough positive things about the Carnation Breakfast Essentials! Typically I would have sugary cereals in the morning (I love feeling nostalgic about childhood mornings) because it was quick and required little effort. On the weekends, I may indulge and make an omelet or something. In an effort to be more healthy, I needed an alternative to all the sugar. Enter the Breakfast Essentials. It's great because of all the vitamins/minerals that are included and it tastes good too. I like to use it to make breakfast smoothies. I'll take about a half cup of frozen strawberries, 10 oz of milk, and 1/3 cup of the Essentials powder, and liquefy in a blender. The smoothies turn out great, taste good, and keep me full through the morning, into lunch time. And only ends up being about 350 calories or so. I've also had the mix with just milk and it's just as good, but I like adding the fruit for more substance. I've also tried (frozen) banana's , blueberries, and raspberries. The best part about doing this (either the smoothie or just mix with milk) is I can take it with me on the go and do not have to waste time sitting and eating in the morning. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Easy to mix and drink on the run, thanks

means I don't starve before lunch and don't feel like I have to eat way too much to feel hungry

This is truly a good product. A nurse told me that if I was drinking some of the other similar products to this,(won't put names here)

to by all means, stop. Said that this is much better for me to drink. As always, when I order through Amazon Prime, the service is great and rapid. Thank you.

My grandson does not like eating first thing in the morning, which makes getting breakfast in him on school days tough. With Carnation instant breakfast it's easy. He feels like he's getting something special, and I know he's getting something to start his day.

I do wish I could order the larger container though.

This ships quickly.

Apple Jacks Cereal, 12.2-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4)

Apple Jacks Cereal, 12.2-Ounce BoxesCompared to other sugared cereals they're better in my opinion. Not as good as fruit loops but not as bad as Lucky Charms. It tastes way better without milk. Milk kind of takes away the flavor and they get soggy quick. Great for kids. Not so great for adults craving a kids cereal.

Apple jacks are apple jacks whether you buy them in the store or from amazon. How can you not like apple jacks. :)

I bought this cereal from amazon due to the sale price.

If Amazon keeps this up, I may be able to buy all of my dry goods online. At the Subscribe and Save price, this is an absolute killer deal....comes out to about $1.83 a box. Definitely cheaper than anything I've seen at Ralph's, Von's, or Costco locally!

Not quite sure I understand the complaint about not being able to taste any 'apple' flavor. I've been eating Apple Jacks since I was a kid, and this is exactly how it's always been. This is exactly the same stuff you buy at the local market. So if you like Apple Jacks, this is a fine deal through Subscribe and Save.

I was really impressed with the fast service. The cereal was in great condition and the price was better than the sales prices in the store. I would use this deal again.

I received this 4 pack of cereal on 12/20/11...I looked at the 'best if used by' date on the top...and they all were 9/13/11! Thanks for the 3 month old cereal! I was credited by $ but come on, what is the sense of even sending that old stuff out?

Post Great Grains Crunchy Pecan Whole Grain Cereal, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 7)

Post Great Grains Crunchy Pecan Whole Grain Cereal, 16-Ounce BoxesTaste delicious! This is one of my favorite cereals, and I'm thrilled to get it for such a great price.

I am a big fan of pecans. Not a big fan of cereals in general. However, after years of trying everything, I found this one and am happy to eat it most every day. I previously found it at my local grocery, but now it is scarce. Most every store has gone to carrying only the ones with the smallest amount of pecans and lots of other stuff. I decided to do a search online and was amazed to find that Amazon carried it! The price was decent, the shipping was free and I'm set for a couple of months! Thanks Amazon!

Post Selects cereals are wonderful. I was very happy to find it on Amazon when we needed it, as our store had stopped getting it. I would shop on Amazon anytime I need anything that we use or eat.

Great Grains Crunchy pecan has everything. Taste. Whole grains. And nutritional. By far, my favorite cereal on the market. Do not care for the new, so called protein great grains. They have more sugar and the corn flake type flakes are disappointing.

I ordered the Crunchy pecan cereal on line, because it is now scarce to find these days on the supermarket shelves, because Post is now promoting their new High protein great grains cereals. Not the same.

By the way, I always add extra pecans.

This is my favorite adult cereal low in sugar and fats, high on crunch, flavor, and fiber. Recommend that parents start their kids on this cereal instead of the sugar-coated cereals.

Nature's Path Organic Toaster Pastries, Frosted Berry Strawberry, 12-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)

Nature's Path Organic Toaster Pastries, Frosted Berry Strawberry, 12-Count BoxesFirst, let me say that I do NOT like regular Pop-Tarts. I've tried them, and they tasted like overly-sweetened cardboard with a definite strange aftertaste. I'd only eat one again if there was absolutely nothing else in the house.

I tried Nature's Path Organic Frosted Strawberry Toaster Pasteries simply because "he" threw it into the shopping cart, insisting it had to be good. Oh, well... whatever. At least, it's organic and actually has some real fruit in it.

OK, I weakened during a mid-morning slump and I needed something to go along with my mega-cup of coffee. To my absolute astonishment, it was not just good, but VERY, VERY GOOD!

This product tasted to me like something from a bakery. The crust was flaky, soft yet a bit crispy. There is absolutely no chemical after-taste. And, there is fruit inside. Yes, I was astonished. It was not like a slab of stale jello, but real, tasty strawberry with a nice, natural taste. Furthermore, it was not overly sweet.

Not only was I amazed, I will purchase this product over and over again.

Once you try it, you will as well!

Very highly recommended.

When my husband became the stay-at-home parent, he also started grocery shopping more for our family. Problem is, he is not a label-checker and too often buys things high in sugar, HFCS and preservatives. My kids became accustomed to eating sugary cereals, toaster pastries and iced candy disguised as breakfast. When I saw these in our local coop, I thought they'd make an excellent alternative. I just tried my first one, thinking I would just have a bite and then pass off to one of my kids. Well, I ate the whole thing. Quickly. These are perfectly sweet; not too much, not too little. Much more palatable than the other, more mainstream brand. The filling tastes like real fruit! Imagine that. I have successfully moved my kids to healthy cereals and whole wheat toast, but these offer a nice "treat" for those days when we're in a rush or they are begging for a "toaster pastry." I also plan to bring some to work to keep in my desk for that midday snack. Highly recommend! My only complaint is that they come 2 per wrapper. Not sure how to keep the second one fresh? Other than that, I am a happy customer.

My husband and I both strongly prefer to eat natural foods, avoiding as many artificial ingredients/additives/chemical concoctions as we can. Sometimes, though, this means forgoing the bad-for-you-yet-tasty treats we grew up eating and enjoying. However, these taste SO much better than Pop Tarts that there's absolutely no sacrifice involved. (Not to mention that the AROMA of these while they're heating up is incredible. In a matter of days, you may find yourself conditioned to drool at the mere sound of the toaster lever clicking into place...Pavlov would be proud.)

The only downside (and I hope Nature's Path pays attention to this) is that the pastries are packaged in PAIRS--making it altogether too tempting to eat both. Better if the box just had ONE re-sealable pack inside; that way, you could simply open it, take the one you want, and close the package back up. With the current packaging, re-sealing isn't a viable option, and so you're kind of "forced" to eat both pastries. (I mean, you wouldn't want to let one go stale...what a waste!)

I have their brown sugar product and it is very good. I thought that the strawberry would be just as good. Boy was I wrong. First of all, they are very sweet but there is very little strawberry flavor unless you are really are paying attention, which in the final stages of swallowing, you get a slight hint of strawberries. The color of the filling looks like apples not strawberries.

Well, let me start by saying that I DO like unfrosted strawberry PopTarts. These Toaster Pastries are almost as good, as PopTarts, and as far as the organic label, better for you if you like to support organic farming, have chemical allergies, etc. PopTarts DO have real fruit, unlike a previous review implies. However, Kellogg's uses DRIED fruit, which I think gives a FRUITIER, slightly more tart flavor. I have a hard time finding the fruity flavor, fruity enough in the Nature's Path. They need to try drying their fruit, too, to concentrate the flavor. I think that most people who are health/nutrition conscious would also be disappointed to find that Nature's Path frosted AND unfrosted (blueberry is the flavor that I have, since the unfrosted strawberry is 10 bucks more than the frosted ones on Amazon...go figure) has a higher sugar content, and zero whole grain, although the overall fiber is 1 gram per serving instead of "less than one gram" on the PopTarts. I will also state, that as of yet, I have never received anything stale from Amazon. I do prefer all of my Tarts toasted.
