PowerBar Protein Plus 20g, Chocolate Peanut Butter, 2.12-Ounce Bars (Pack of 15)

PowerBar Protein Plus 20g, Chocolate Peanut Butter, 2.12-Ounce BarsI know PowerBar advertises these for after exercise, I but I really like them for long road or mt bike rides. They provide enough carbs to get me going and protein to keep me going for a couple hours.

I suppose taste is truly an individual thing so please do take my review with a grain of salt. I've had a lot of energy bars, and very few have tasted GOOD to me. My favorites are Lara Bars and my latest discovery, Balance Bar which I Just reviewed because it tastes AMAZING: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1GTSIOJ26LFWD/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm

But I could not stomach this. I love peanut butter ANY kind of peanut butter and I love dark chocolate. The consistency was good but the taste was just awful, sorry. I can't give it more than 1 star. Oh and it's not exactly a cheap bar, so it's my honest opinion. Sorry won't be eating this one again even if I'm starving (as I was when I got it at the airport at 11pm at night. Sigh). I hope this helps.

These things taste really good and have been helping me lose weight. Buying them in a box on here is cheaper and saves me a trip to the gas station every morning. With the amazon student and prime I had free 2-day shipping and so they came really fast too. I actually traded in my text books for amazon cash and bought these with some of it.

Woodstock Baby Kosher Dill Pickles

Woodstock Baby Kosher Dill PicklesThis is my first jar of Woodstock Farms organic pickles but it will not be my last!! This is the perfect pickle!! Bite sized goodness with a great crunch and excellent flavor ..... Oh my! If you want a great pickle, Get these pickles! ( BTW... Unlike other pickles I got NO REPEAT TASTE after eating these. ) once you try these pickles you will go back for more...it's too easy to eat the entire jar, so pace yourself..... And order MORE! ;)

These pickles are good, and fairly crisp. Although another brand (McClure's) I reviewed recently has even a stronger vinegar taste, this brand has a tiny bit of one at all. Which at least for me somewhat kills the garlic and dill taste. I have to admit what I'm looking for is something closer to how a Claussen tastes but without some of the additives that they add. (A Claussen to me has little or no vinegar taste, and a fairly strong garlic and dill taste). I'm glad I got to try these though, I'm not disappointed and for those that like a small but notable vinegar taste this is probably closer to a "five star" product.

Chex Chocolate Chex Cereal

Chex Chocolate Chex CerealI think this cereal is really good, unlike many chocolate cereals. I like the taste a lot. I looked at the ingredients and it seems to be a fairly healthy cereal containing whole grain rice. My only criticism is the price for one box of this is too high, but I got it to get the Super Saver Shipping, so it was worth it to me. It would be a better deal to get one of the multipacks.

My kids LOVE this nutritious treat. It's really just a little cocoa powder vice a lot of chocolate, for those who are healthy conscious for their families as we are.

Boyds Coffee French No. 6, Ground Dark Roast Coffee, 3-Ounce Portion Packs (Pack of 40)

Boyds Coffee French No. 6, Ground Dark Roast Coffee, 3-Ounce Portion PacksI, and a few of my coworkers, are admitted coffee snobs. However, we couldn't justify the price of Starbucks, etc... for our corporately sponsored coffee mess at work. We tried 6-8 other brands and blends, but in a taste test the Boyds French No.6 won ever taste test. It's not the best French Roast I've had, but it is pretty good and the price is great. It's been a few weeks, and we are all still very pleased to be drink a much better coffee than we had been with generic portion packs.

One 26 oz Bob's Red Mill Pancake Waffle 10-Grain Mix

One 26 oz Bob's Red Mill Pancake Waffle 10-Grain MixThis pancake mix is totally awesome. I'm not a big pancake eater because I try to watch my diet and stick to eating healthy stuff. You cant go wrong with this mix. It is good for you and you don't get that full weighed down feeling after you eat it. In so far as taste, it cant be beat. The pancakes are fluffy and very tasty, not grainy or anything else you may expect from a 10 grain product. Also, I can mix up a batch and store the left over in the refrigerator for a few days if I don't cook them all the same day. All in all I am very satisfied with the bobs red mill products and especially this pancake mix. It will become a staple in my home. Lastly, although I ordered on line I found that many stores around my area sell this product so you may want to check your local grocery to avoid shipping charges.

Klein's Naturals Exotic Fruit Mix, (Pack of 6)

Klein's Naturals Exotic Fruit Mix,Klein's Naturals Exotic Fruit is a wonderful mix of mango, banana, and hard to find (dried) guava. Although the packaging is flimsy, the price and product (not overpowering with sugar) is just right.

Post Cocoa Pebbles Cereal

Post Cocoa Pebbles Cereal, 2.1-Ounce CupsOne of my guilty pleasures has become a little less guilty . . . Post has added a source of fiber to bring the suggested serving up to 4 grams. Yeah! Malt-o-Meal and I believe Kellogg's brand is still down around 1 gram of fiber per serving. It's still pretty sugary, though, but as a late night dessert it beats ice cream! Have always loved this cereal.

I have enjoyed this cereal for years. Unlike many 'fun' cereals it has a lot to offer both in nutrition and fiber content. I often treat myself to a cup, which is 4 grams of fiber.

Who doesn't love chocolate? Who doesn't love chocolate milk? :) And when the two comes together in a tasty breakfast cereal, what's not to love?

Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day so you better eat right.

One thing though... I don't know why anybody would want to buy this online. It's comes out to 5.42/box (free shipping). I paid $3.49+tax at a local store.

I ordered these and they were delivered as expected. The cereal tastes great and they are good until Jan. 2012 so that is awesome. They will be gone way before then. I will defiantly be ordering these again.

Arrowhead Mills Organic Maple Buckwheat Flakes Gluten Free -- 10 oz Each / Pack of 2

Arrowhead Mills Organic Maple Buckwheat Flakes Gluten Free -- 10 oz Each / Pack of 2I'm really glad I got a single box of these flakes at the health food store before buying a multi-pack online because I can't repurchase. In fact I shouldn't have purchased it at all after reading the box label at the store, but wanted to check the product out tastewise.

Buckwheat's not a grain, but a seed, and straight buckwheat is relatively low in carbohydrates, which is why it's great for diabetics or people who eat low carb. Unfortunately as a pseudo-grain it lacks binding properties which is why manufacturers tend to add a secondary grain product to help whatever it is hold together. A true buckwheat udon noodle would be lovely, for example, but too often there is more wheat flour than buckwheat and the final product gets carb-heavy.

Unfortunately, the case is similar here. Though this cereal is very tasty, buckwheat is coupled with rice flour (second ingredient) and sugar cane juice (third) and maple syrup (fifth). By the time they're done making this, it's 35 carbs in a cup (and less than a gram of fiber). That's like drinking a non-diet cola.

This could be fixed by the manufacturer lowering the rice content, and eliminating the sugar and maple, allowing us to choose our own sweetener, but I understand the world doesn't revolve around people restricting carb intake. Just wishful thinking.

But if you're a gluten intolerant person and have no blood sugar issues... this is your cereal... and I'm jealous.
