Those of us who must limit sodium intake tend to be desperate for palatable low-sodium seasonings and grateful when we find them. BaconSalt has leapt way beyond merely "palatable," however, and brought new seasoning products to market that can make salt-hungry, bacon-deprived deprived folk like us absolutely giggle with delight. When we first learned about BaconSalt, we bought one of each flavor (the basics on Amazon, some special ones on the company website), plus extras for gifts. We sent a half-price gift package to loved ones at an APO address (as of this writing, the company actually gives military buyers/recipients a 50% discount -imagine that!). We have no interest in the company, BTW ... we're just happy consumers grateful to find that we needn't abandon the savory flavors of bacon in the pursuit of good health.
I had never heard of Bacon Salt until I found it by accident, online. I bought three bottles of it from Amazon, and I am NOT disappointed. This salt is PERFECT on a BLT sandwich, sprinkled over fat free popcorn, in an omelet, etc. It has a true bacon flavor with no calories. This company (J&D's) also makes a product called Baconnaise, which is basically a bacon flavored mayonnaise-tasting sauce that has very little calories in a 2 Tablespoon serving. The Baconnaise is also fabulous! They have their own website....just look up J&D's on Google. I would highly recommend the bacon salt and also the Baconnaise...

I have 3 different flavors on these and they are : jalapeño , apple wood ,a and hickory. I so far think hickory has the best smoke taste but apple wood has more bacon flavor. Jalapeño is good but not the best . All these products do and will add complex flavor to your food. They add great smoke and subtle bacon flavor. You can smell the bacon and taste it on most foods. I think it is the best on chicken. I disagree with the people that say there is hardly any bacon flavor and I think you guys have poor palates. Do not expect this to make your food taste like it was wrapped by 90 pieces of bacon for Pete's sake! No seasoning is meant to achieve this level of flavor and if you want full bacon taste then buy bacon and eat it! But JD's bacon products are amazing and my wife and I love it on most BBQ meats and I like to add it to chili's and anything you wish to add extra flavor to. Highly recomended and it will always be in my spice cupboard .

I originally bought this from my supermarket but they stopped supplying it. I love the bacon flavor but no calories; the sodum count is high so just use a little when using it. Love it on chicken breasts!!

I use this religiously when I make greens of any kind. (Collards, Kale, Chard, etc.) Saute onions with non-stick spray, wilt greens in water, add some bouillon powder and BAM! Bacon! My kids ask for it on everything. I've found the hickory to be more "real bacon" flavor than any of the other flavors. If you're watching your weight or are attempting the vegan thing, try this stuff! It hits you in the bacon receptors!
After trying this coffee a few months ago from my local Sprouts Market, I was hooked! I am a serious coffee connoisseur and this by far has the most smoothest taste around. It's not oily like a Starbucks and doesn't become bitter once the bag is opened like Peets and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf coffees. It is a darker roast coffee, but I prefer those. Made with a few tablespoons (once ground) and spring water, you've got yourself one good cup of coffee. So glad to have found this on Amazon for such a great price. I will definitely be buying this again!
