Green Mountain Coffee Vermont Country Blend, K-Cup Portion Pack for Keurig K-Cup Brewers

Green Mountain Coffee, Vermont Country Blend, K-Cup Portion Pack for Keurig Brewers 24-CountGreen Mountain Coffee has lots of excellent k-cups to choose from. I find this to be just a tad stronger than Nantucket and just a smidge weaker that Lake and Lodge. All three are great, but this is my fave of the three. I would describe it as a bit stronger flavored than your typical medium roast, but not enough to turn you off if you dislike "bold" flavors.

I don't like strong bold coffee, but I do like something with a little "punch" in it to start the day. This coffee is just right. It is a delicious tasting medium bold coffee that is great to drink in the morning, though I drink it other times as well. It has a very pleasant aroma that completes the taste experience. I vacation a lot in Vermont, and this tastes just as good as the coffee in the small country store where I get my morning coffee.

Bottom line: This is one of my favorite "wake up" coffees. I recommend it.

When I started working at my current employer, we had a Keurig and many, many coffee choices, mostly because each person had their own favorites. I was trying all the coffees looking for my favorite when I found a sample pack of Vermont Country Blend. A few cups of coffee later, it had become my favorite, and I ordered a box. Soon, everyone in the office was drinking it, and it's the only coffee we stock now. I always feel pleased when we have guests at the office, and they compliment the coffee which is most of the time we have guests. It makes me feel like I found a real gem.

I'm really enjoying Vermont Blend in the morning. It is a little stronger than Nantucket Blend and yet smooth with a bit of a kick. A great "get up and go" drink.

I am not a big coffee drinker, but these little single serving cups make a hot, fresh cup of coffee that even "tea" drinkers like me are tempted to chug down. The Vermont blend is one of the best flavors Green Mountain Coffee makes.

Caza Trail Coffee, Single Serve Coffee Cup for Keurig K-Cup Brewers, 24-Count

Caza Trail Breakfast Blend, 24-Count Single Serve Cup for Keurig K-Cup BrewersCompletely opposite from other reviews, I've never had one leak so far. I always press the Kcup down on the bottom needle before closing the top to brew. Another big name brand in a blue box had the same issues and this eliminated the problem. I found the Breakfast Blend to be the perfect coffee for my thermos at work and kept its flavor through the day. Not a strong blend, but a good light tasting coffee.

The coffee tastes great if you can get by the coffee grounds in the cup. Used 6 of the cups and 3 of them ended up dumping a load of grounds into the cup. It will be interesting to see if that ratio continues throught the rest of the box.

Just an additional comment since I posted the review: For whatever reason the decaf version of this brand seems to clog brewers, in my machine it seems to work well for the first half of the cup then slowly clogs so you end up with about half a cup. When you open the brewer to remove the k-cup the cup is under pressure and spits out some coffee. This doesn't seem to happen with regular, non-decaf k-cups from the same company.

When using these k-cups, my Keurig would stop brewing about 1/2 or 3/4 through the cycle. When I would remove the k-cup and put the cover back down, it would finish. When I compared these k-cups after this would happen to what I usually use (Green Mountain Decaf), it looks like the hole punctured in the tops of these was larger. So the foil cover must be different.

I gave these three stars because I was able to get a cup of coffee from almost each k-cup, and the flavor is good. I have had problems with other k-cups (Tully) blowing up in my machine and giving me a cup of grounds. But because of the glitch, I wouldn't buy these again or recommend them.

Taste was ok but everytime I used this coffee it leaked the grounds and clogged my coffee machine, only k-cup I have ever had that does this.

Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Whole Grain, Rolled Oats, 32-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4)

Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Whole Grain, Rolled Oats, 32-Ounce BagsOne of the things I missed most when I had to stop eating gluten was oatmeal, since oats grown in the US are generally cross-contaminated with wheat/barley or other gluten-containing grains. I was so excited to discover Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Rolled Oats at my local Whole Foods a year or so ago, and they taste great, with a wonderful satisfying, chewy texture. Highly recommended!

Let me just start off by saying I like oatmeal a little more than most people. At my old job they had a contest to get to know your coworkers a little bit better. They had unusual facts about people up and you had to guess who each fact was talking about. My fact was "This person has eaten a bowel of oatmeal for breakfast every single day of the past 25 years." For the past 10 years or so I've usually eaten another bowel as a bedtime snack as well. Suffice to say, I've eaten of a lot of oats in my lifetime.

Almost two years ago I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease after throwing up almost every day for six months. Unfortunately, the only treatment is a totally gluten free diet for the rest of my life. I wasn't too upset about that until I learned that included oatmeal as almost all oatmeal in this country is processed with the same machinery as wheat which will contaminate the safe oats. Not wanting to break my streak I started searching for a gluten free alternative. Thankfully, Bob's Red Mill was there for me. I bought a bag and tested it out to make sure I could handle it better than other oatmeals out there. Almost two years and almost 1500 bowels later, I can safely say that this stuff is perfectly safe as well as quite tasty.

Thanks Bob, for letting my continue on my streak with my favorite breakfast!

These oats are rolled quite thick, resulting in chewy oatmeal that takes longer to cook (10 minutes) than more conventional, thinly rolled oats. They are my favorite because of the much more substantial texture. However, shipping charges make local bulk purchase a much less expensive option ask for a discount on a case purchase at your local store.

These are some wonderful, high quality rolled oats. You absolutely cannot tell any difference from traditional rolled oats, except these might be a bit more high quality than most! Makes wonderful oatmeal, granola, cookies, and grinds easily in a food processor if you are looking to make GF oat flour.

i love my oatmeal cookies and porridge but i couldn't enjoy it in a while due to the allergy. well now i'm happy. it's real oatmeal without the contamination of wheat and i just love it. i can enjoy it without having to deal iwth joint pain and bloating etc. it's exactly like old fashioned oats just without gluten contamination.

Arrowhead Mills Puffed Rice, 6-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)

Arrowhead Mills Puffed Rice, 6-Ounce BagsI buy this cereal all the time. It is the only cereal I can eat due to numerous food allergies and I find myself eating a bag a day sometimes cause it is so good.

I've tried the millet and the corn too and all are very good but I like the rice best. As another reviewer so helpfully mentioned, you can add crispness by nuking a bowl of the puffed grains for ten seconds or so. Mainly I eat this rice with a little olive oil and sea salt but it's good in so many other ways. It does dissolve quickly and completely so it's excellent for thickening up other foods, just mix in and let sit and something thin will become nice and thick. My diet allows for two and one half batches of whole grains, generally either quinoa or one of the Lundberg brown rice blends, per week. I can trade the one half batch (one half cup uncooked) for five cups of puffed rice and add some variety for about the same calories. Plus the puffed rice is always ready to eat for times when I'm in a hurry but out of prepared food.

While trying to quit smoking, I give myself permission to eat as much puffed rice as I want, this brand is healthier as it is whole grain, unlike the supermarket brand that uses white rice, tastes good, I love it

I am a health nut, so I don't care much about sugary tastes anymore and my palate has morphed to like a wholesome taste over time. I mix this puffed rice with some Chocolate Caramel Mocha whey protein powder and a little water and it tastes like Smacks...I love it!!! This cereal is exactly what it says it is whole grain brown rice that's puffed (think Rice Krispies or Smacks) without any added salt, sugar or other ingredients. If you are looking for a food that can replace sugary cereals, this is it. If you are used to "normal" sugary cereals, you will not like this product.

J&D's Baconnnaise Bacon Flavored Spread, Lite, 15-ounce jar (Pack of 3)

J&D's Baconnnaise Bacon Flavored Spread, Lite, 15-ounce jarI'd been hearing about the product for a couple of years and finally ordered some, but inadvertantly ordered lite! Yuk! After much anticipation, waiting for it's arrival, and then finally opening up the (cheap plastic) jar and putting some on a piece of bread to try it with.... it tasted like wall spackle. Ok, I've never eaten wall spackle, but I'm pretty sure it tastes like "lite" baconnaise. Then I realized after careful examination of the label that I ordered the "lite." Dammit.

Determined to finally taste the ORIGINAL baconnaise, I went back on amazon and (very carefully) ordered the ORIGINAL baconnaise. And it's pretty dang good! I'll leave a review of the original, non-lite product there.

When I saw the add, I knew I wanted to try it. I already have a mixed selection of the Bacon Salt. Good flavor, what I expected...but don't overdue it and it is better. Great on fries and mix it with a little lite mayo or sour cream for a salad dressing or dip. I will accept that it isn't as creamy as mayo, and it has a kinda lite, gritty texture almost,if you taste it by itself. Try it with peanut butter on toast. My problem is my brother, he uses mayo on everything and he loves it, so I hide a jar just for myself. It does have a pretty strong smokey bacon flavor by itself.

I am a bacon fiend and was very excited to try Baconnaise! However, after a small taste, both my husband and I found it disgusting. It tastes very chemically and not so much like bacon more like smoke flavoring. We threw it all away.

This jar of light coral goo is filed in the back of the fridge with "one-recipe" stuff and other exotica. It is waiting there for me to admit that my curiosity and desire for novelty beat back my better judgement. In a blind-tasting, "bacon" would not be my first reaction and the texture is slimy and unappealing (room temp or cold).

I was surprised how many haters there are for the Lite version. Disclaimer: I've never tried the full fat version and I'm sure it's delicious, but if you're watching your fat intake, there has to be some compromise. I saw this at the grocery store next to the regular Baconnaise.

Lite version: 2.5 grams fat per 2 Tbl.

Original version: 9 grams fat per 2 Tbl.

I'm used to eating lite variations (though not fat free, yuck) of sour cream, mayo, salad dressing, etc. So this wasn't a big leap for me. First sandwich, I was not impressed. Second sandwich, meh. By the third sandwich I was hooked. When by bottle ran out I had a hard time going back to plain mayo. I've been eating it so much that I don't even want to try the fattier version b/c then I'll be eating even more, yikes!

It may not be a good taste for everyone, and I can understand that. But it's yummy to me :-)

Duchy Originals Original Oaten Biscuits, 5.3-Ounce

Duchy Originals Original Oaten Biscuits, 5.3-OunceI was introduced to these delicious little cookies by our neighbors who hail from Surrey. They are delightful. A little sweet, a little crunchy and surprisingly satisfying. Once you try them you will scour the internet trying to find them in the US. Good luck. PJ

There are twelve perfect cookies in this box, sweet but not too sweet and with enough oats in them to give them a pleasant, slightly crumbly, texture. The back of the box says these "biscuits" were baked in the Scottish Highlands with stonegound oats grown in harmony with nature at the Highgrove family home of HRH Charles the Prince of Wales. At least some of the proceeds support The Prince of Wale's Charitable Foundation. I ate these cookie/biscuits plain; the package suggests that being both savory and sweet they would also be good with cheese.

I used Amazon's Add-on program when I made my order. By choosing a few more tasty items I didn't have to pay any shipping cost.

They are delicious and healthy. The oats are better than wheat and they are not too sweet. The Duchy Originals Original Oaten Biscuits are versatile; they go well with cheese, jam or with just a cup of tea. I used to buy them at a local store, but they haven't been available for 10 years since that store closed. They are just as delicious now as then and are better than other biscuits made with wheat and more sugar. When I bought them years ago, they were organic. It would be great if organic biscuits were available now.

The product was just o.k., nothing that sticks in your mind to purchase again. They were a little expensive for the amount you got, and a little dry. Not anything I would recommend to friends.

San Franola Roasted Without Raisins

San Franola Granola Without Raisins Multi-serve BagsI found this at a farmers market and really liked it. It's more substantial than normal granola and has a great taste. I prefer with yogurt but it's also yummy on it's own.

The reason I tried this granola was because I was looking for low sugar granola options. I was pleasantly surprised to see how good it tasted! I usually have it with milk or yogurt and hate when the granola gets soggy... which is not an issue with this one.

The one nice think about it is that it contains flaxseed which is pretty good for you!
