Nothing says, "Happy holidays," to me quite like homemade fruit cake or a cup of hot Sugar Plum Spice tea. The roasted barley malt, chicory root and carob give it a rich, robust flavor--almost like a cup of mocha. Rose hips, natural plum flavor and chamomile flowers add a sweet, fruity taste akin to a fine plum pudding. Ginger root gives it that characteristic holiday zing. Try this full-flavored herbal infusion yourself, and your taste buds will dance with delight!

Was caught a bit off-guard when I was about to purchase this tea and noticed it contained roasted barley malt in the ingredients. Wasn't exactly expecting to find gluten in tea, but you can never be too careful.

I discovered this flavored tea during the Thanksgiving holidays, 2009 at my daughter's house. I am NOT a tea OR coffee drinker but she pressured me to try "this amazing flavored tea" and the rest, shall we say is history! Now I just can't start my day without it. There is no caffeine, however, and all natural ingredients but the flavor is perfect and it stands alone! I would recommend this to anyone, even those "non tea or coffee drinkers". It was introduced as a "Holiday Tea" so it is not supposed to be available throughout the year and it is now almost impossible to find EXCEPT through Amazon. Thanks Amazon and your sellers for making it available for me, all year long!

Paleo People Granola

Very yummy! It is an awesome Paleo alternative to granola. It is my favorite I have tried thus far. Add some fruit on top and you are set.

These guys make great alternative granolas -banana, apple, cocoa, and cappucino. A tasty, filling alternative to the junk we often reach for when hungry. Highly recommend, and my toddler loves this flavor too!

I really miss having banana nut bread and cereal so this was a happy find. Not only does it have banana chips and walnuts but almonds, pecans, dried cranberries, cacao powder, and much more ...what a tasty combination. This is a moist granola mix not your typical dry stuff. Just wish there was more in the bag but that's how it is with granola ...never enough. BUT for the price, there really should have been more ...so I knocked a star off for that.

Be aware that it's "manufactured in a facility that processes other products which may contain peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, wheat and eggs".

I enjoy instant oatmeal for breakfast or for a snack; however, often brands (Quaker for instance) include too much sugar and other additives. I love Dr. McDougall's oatmeal because it's organic, it has much less sugar but it's still very flavorful, it has lots of real fruit pieces, and it has nutritious grains. A great filling food that I can trust to be healthy! Great fuel!

This peach raspberry instant oatmeal is excellent. It's pleasantly, not overwhelmingly, sweet. It has wonderful grains and textures. The peach and raspberry bits taste natural, not artificial. A hit with my 14-year old son and my college-age niece, who took several cups back to school with her. Highly recommended for a fast, nutritious breakfast.

I love Dr. McDougall's products, and this is my favorite instant oatmeal (compared to his other flavors and the Nature's Path oatmeal I eat at work). The large size makes is a hearty meal and it fits perfectly into my cup holder. So, when I get to college in the morning at 7am, I can eat this wholesome breakfast and feel full most of the morning until class ends at 12:30 pm. Not too much sugar yet still flavorful. Good texture, too.

I prefer this over the other flavors.

First thing you notice when you stir up the cup of cereal with the requisite water is that there are whole raspberries in there, not just raspberry flavoring or bits. Real fruit. Nice.

I cooked it a bit longer (10 seconds) than the suggested time (1 minute, 45 seconds), and I let it sit three minutes. It came out fine. The texture is nice--you have real chewability here. Not mush. Real bite. And the sweetness is great for adults--not cloying, unlike cereals would appeal more to kids.

The size is quite generous. In fact, I wish it was a bit smaller size, honestly. It's 300 calories for the whole cup (8 grams of fiber total). I find that I eat 2/3 of it and am fine. Besides, I like a variety type breakfast (ie, eggs with toast and juice, oatmeal and an egg white scramble with veggies, etc). I don't just like ONE thing (ie, oatmeal or just toast or just eggs). So, I eat part of this, save the rest to use as a dessert after dinner: I add canned peaches (or frozen) over it, sprinkle with cinnamon and add some honey, nuke it--my own little superfast peach cobbler. :)

If you want a convenience hot cereal, this is a good choice if you like oats, barley and some subtle real fruit flavor and sweetness.

This does have soy, though, in case you're sensitive. No dairy, though.

Wow! Wow! What a great product. I am 70 and have been slow cooking steel-cut oatmeal for over 50 years. Now, that my 96 year old Mom is living with me and I am her caretaker, I have been looking for some nutritious short cuts and decided to give this a try. I was dubious because even some of my favorite brands like Trader Joe's Instant Oatmeal were dismal. This is the real McCoy. We both like chewy, filling hot cereal without a lot of sweet taste and this is simply delicious. One cup provides two servings one for each of us. How thrifty is that! I still slow cook a quart of oatmeal 2x a month but am going to Subscribe & Save on this one regularly.

I recently tried the Apples & Cinnamon, it has much less sugar than Quaker, has no preservatives or ingredients I can't even pronounce, has the added benefit of flax seed and overall was delicious. I am DEFINITELY switching to this brand for good and would strongly suggest it for anybody looking for the health benefits of oats/flax without too much added sugar or other fillers.

I tried this oatmeal. It was too "natural" for me. I don't like the flax and found the flavor to be bland. If I wanted my food to taste like that I would buy bulk horse feed from the feed store down the street.

Weetabix Whole Grain Biscuit Cereal, 14-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

If you live near Trader Joes in the USA you can buy a box of Weetabix for $2.39! Other super markets sell them for as much as $3.99/$4.99. I'm from the UK and never have a problem finding this childhood favourite cereal.

When I saw Weetabix in my local grocery a few months ago, I just had to try it! How many breakfast foods do you know of, that get mentioned frequently in British novels and on BBC television programs?

Not surprisingly, the whole grain "biscuits" are delicious. They're nutritious, too: two biscuits with skim milk (no sugar required) provide 170 calories (10 from fat), 130mg sodium, 150mg potassium, 0.5g fat, 29g carbohydrates (including 4g dietary fiber and 2g sugar), 4g protein, no cholesterol, and a few vitamins and minerals. The biscuits themselves (24 to a package, or 12 servings) are light, crisp, and flaky.

According to the package, "Weetabix is great on its own or with milk". However the biscuits are very dry, so I can't imagine eating them plain. When you add low-fat milk (1% or 2%), the biscuits soak the milk up very quickly. If you don't eat your Weetabix right away, the biscuits will break apart and your morning cereal will be a little soggy.

But I like Weetabix, even when it's soggy, because of the delicate flavor and pleasant texture. Weetabix has now replaced my previous favorite adult fiber cereal, Post Shredded Wheat Original Cereal, Spoon Size, and has become an almost daily habit. In fact, I like Weetabix so well, I ordered a 2-1/2 month supply (also 72 servings, but packaged in smaller, single-insert boxes, making it more expensive per ounce; see Barbara's Bakery Weetabix, 7-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) from Amazon!

I normally import my Weetabix all the way from England (being from England myself, Weetabix was always a firm favorite of mine for breakfast), so was delighted when I saw Amazon were selling it at a much better price.

I had hoped that Weetabix is Weetabix, and taste wouldn't differ too much even if the product was made by a different company. This product is made by some company in America, and it did taste different to the brand I typically buy from England.

Unfortunately, I didn't like it. It had a strange flavor that just didn't appeal to me. I'm sure it's a preference thing though, and there will be plenty of people who like this just as much (or maybe even better than) the British alternative. I, however, will be going back to importing my Weetabix from England.

I've been eating this careal for about 70 years. Always loved it! Now it is considered "healtful". Maybe that's why I made it this far!

This cereal is great! Whole grain and heart healthy. Plus its just fun to say youll be eating a wheat biscuit for breakfast. This stuff isnt just good with milk on it either, it is also good crumbled over yogurt, {and its less fattening then granola too.} The only down side is that it does get soggy quickly in milk, so if you like a crunch eat it one biscuit at a time. enjoy!

I bought this to mix in with my oatmeal in the morning and it is so good! I've been buying Qia Superfoods brand Cherry Vanilla flavor and love that one, too. This was a nice switch up. It's full of great, healthy ingredients, bulks up my oatmeal and gives me the energy and nutrition I need after my morning run/workout and best of all it tastes great!!

I buy the Quaker perfect portions oatmeal in maple and mix one serving of each with 8 oz of hot water from my Keurig, stir and let it sit for a few min and then stir in one packet of truvia sweetener...BLISS!!

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more satisfying, healthy breakfast with whole grains and full of nutrition.

Great stuff! I love most of the flavors offered. Just wish I could find them locally, so I could get them more often.

The drink was absolutely delicious, and since I've eaten Aloe before, I wasn't *quite* as thrown off by it, but when they say "Aloe Vera pulp" they mean large, thick chunks of Aloe. If you've never tried it before, Aloe is smooth and slimy, not entirely unlike Tapioca balls in bubble tea. It's not a bad thing by any account, but it's definitely something to watch out for.

I was introduced to the ALO drink by a friend of mine. She brought it to work one day and gave me one to try. Looking into the bottle, the first thing you see are big pieces of something floating around, which for the first timer, isn't really appealing. However, I looked past those and decided to try it. The texture was a little different, because of the aloe pieces, but when you start to drink it, it actually is good. This particular flavor is one of my favorites! I love it. I will be drinking this on the sidewalk, and people will stop and ask me what it is because of the "floaties". Another advantage (may be just me), but I have noticed more bathroom urges. Which is a good thing. :) Give it a try.

Quaker Oatmeal Squares Cereal Cinnamon - 16 oz (4 pack)

This product tastes great and is reasonably healthy. It delivers exactly what it promises. It is well-packaged as well. Buy it.

We love this cereal at our house. Like all boxed cereals it is expensive and I thought I might be able to save on Amazon. Well, for me a 16 oz box often costs $3.99 to $4.29. Four boxes for over $25 is $6.29 per box -and that doesn't even include shipping! RIP OFF!

When my son was a toddler, he and my husband started calling this the best cereal in the world. My son will be 17 next month and we still refer to Quaker oat squares as the best cereal in the world. (I still would not pay shipping costs)
