my baby has one of these in her fist most of her waking hours. and i think it's GREAT that she can't take a bite out of them -that's the POINT of teething biscuits! you're not supposed to chew 'em up, your supposed to rub your baby gums and teeth against them, to sooth the teething irritation. (a teething biscuit that breaks easily is a totally dangerous teething biscuit, a choking hazard! so, please, ignore the negative review on this page, where someone complains the baby can't chomp 'em to bits. that's exactly why these are excellent!)

These are good teether biscuits. With four kids we have tried lots and they all break at some point, if a food was not able to break it would be very difficult for a child to eat. With any solid food babies need to be supervised. These are nice and dense and I feel break less easily than others. The kids like them, they are organic, and there are enough in the box to last a few weeks. If parents are having problems with their babies easily biting off pieces it may be best to break the biscuit in half and put it in a mesh feeder.

I love the product, they're yummy....however, my baby has choked as well as another friends baby while using these...they tend to break off and don't dissolve too fast. I'm sure when my baby is older they may be ok, but def a choking hazard!!

I wanted to love these, my son does, but they DO BREAK and very easily. My 8 month old is able to bite off big pieces. This is not a safe baby product. For now I think we are going to stick to frozen banana in the baby safe feeders.

Our 9 month old loves these. We don't necessarily use them for teething, per se, but he loves to gnaw on them at mealtimes. We started using them because we like the wholesome ingredients AND they are a decent source of iron (he has low levels). He is able to gnaw off pieces, for sure, but we've never had any choking or even gagging. The mess on his hands and face wipes off easily afterwards, but I can see how that might be an issue if he was wandering around the house. As an added bonus, he smells like yummy maple for several hours after eating one. :-)

I ordered this for my step MIL because online it looks like a full size gift box, and several of the other reviewers raved about how great it was so I thought I'd give it a try. The box is a little on the small side but is decent. Once you open the shrink wrapped box to get everything out it looks VERY skimpy. I paid almost $70 for it, and it looks like it might be worth $20 if that -and that's only because of the box. The "truffles" and "english tea" as well as the "angel candles" all look like they're from the dollar store. I'm VERY disappointed with this product.

I purchased this item for my company's Mother's Day raffle based upon pictures and positive reviews. I was running out of time, had no time to shop myself and so Amazon was the solution. The item arrived damaged, not enough padding in the box, actually there was no padding at all. The contents arrived all closed in the box too, not nicely displayed as in the picture. The items were cheap dollar store type items, not worth 49 bucks!

I initially tried to return the item, only to get a response that this item is not eligible for return!! After calling Amazon, I learned I could still get a refund, but that they would not accept the product back since it contains some food items. I'm glad I got the credit back on my credit card, so I was able to get something else for this raffle instead. My recommendation, go to the local gift shop and check out your purchase directly. Do not get this item!

Please dont be fooled into buying this item, as it cannot be returned! The box is beatiful the clock is for show does not work, and the items in the box can be found at your local dollar store, and are not as described. Most would think that a description of Victorian Lace Tea, would in fact include Tea, which shows both in the picture and in description..it does not! It also does not include a porceline picture frame described,and shown in picture but replaced by a plastic photo album. I buy everything from Amazon, and am shocked they would allow this to happen.

I paid for a beautiful gift like the picture but i got an article that looked used! The white paint was yellowish. It's a old box with oxidized and broken lock. I throw away the cookies because don't have expiration date.

I'm kind of disappointed that in these days of age the standard shipping takes 7 full days. Thank goodness for Amazon.com that I can find this product and order in such large quantities. My local supermarket and surrounding stores stopped selling this product. I would have to go about 25 min from my home to an irish section of the county to purchase. I have my 6 boxes and I am super happy!!!! This is my favorite tea and the only brand I drink. The other kind from Barry's is the red box i love this one too!
