Berkley & Jensen Granola with almonds, strawberries and raspberries (2lbs)

Love, love, love this! I've been eating it nearly every day for breakfast for about a year now. Nice to see that I don't have to go to BJs to get it anymore!

Flahavan's fruit porridges (both this and the apple raisin one) are delicious beyond reason! I've been all over the world and Irish oats are usually the best around, but these take even the Irish cake. The porridge is easy to make just add water and slap it in the microwave, and three minutes or so later you've got a nice, hot breakfast and deliciously creamy. They aren't stingy with the fruit, either. Lovely bits of papaya and pineapple make it delightful! Try it you won't be disappointed!

I purchased this on a whim to try it out. I love it! I don't just eat it for breakfast but also as a snack sometimes. It has lots of the fruit bits and is really creamy. I never even make it with milk just water and it is still creamy.

I was worried that I would not like this because I wasn't sure what "plantains" are they are just raisins made from white grapes. It's a fantastic oatmeal far above any of the "Instant" varieties. It takes me about 5 minutes to prepare in the microwave, but I don't need to add additional fruit or sweetener. It's perfect exactly like it is from the bag. Beware though, directions for a "serving" make a BIG serving. About 1/2 of their serving is what I'm accustomed to eating at once.

Gnu Foods Orange Cranberry Flavour and Fiber, Case Of 8 /5/1.6 OZ

Gnu Bars is on to something good, but they need to keep on working a little.

This one has a really great fragrance when you open the package. Very orangey.

Now on to the taste/texture. The texture is the same as all the other Gnu Bars -

very moist, very chewy, very good for you. This one is okay, but do consider this

when you make your purchase. There is NO ORANGE JUICE or orange product in this bar.

I can only guess that the overwhelming orange flavor comes from the "natural flavors"

in the ingredients list. The cranberries are good. Overall tasty, but leaves a very

odd orange aftertaste. Definitely not my favorite bar.

Merguez Sausage, Four packages of 6 links. 12 oz each

One of my most frequent purchases from Amazon is this delectable sausage. It's made with lamb and Moroccan spices. It has some heat in it. We use it when we make spinach pizza, but there are other recipes in which it can be used, particularly in a Julia Child recipe for braised lamb shank, found in Mastering the Art of French Cooking. It lends a delicious flavor of North Africa to whatever recipe you use Merguez in. This is the only brand I've ever found for merguez, and I recommend it highly.

Sunrise Whole Grain 100% Natural Energy Bars with Omega-3

This product is sold only at Costco. The seller must be buying these at their local Costco (where they're only $10) and reselling them here. Nice...

These are SO GOOD. I just bought my first tub and am RIPPING through them. I try to keep from getting in too many carbs, but these are like potato chips it's hard to eat just one! They're not real sweet, which is why I don't get sick of them after one bar/cookie (what are they, exactly?). They have a great texture, and except for the flour* (second ingredient), they're awesome in terms of natural, farmer's market-esque ingredients. Whole oats, cranberries (a "superfood"), raisins, apricots, apples, almonds, walnuts (a superfood), flax seeds (almost nothing better for you than omega-3s), sunflower seeds, and then the oils and other baking-type ingredients at the bottom of the pile. I have to "third" that emotion about the reseller, that if you can find them, buy these tubs at Costco for cheap. If not, buy 'em here you won't regret it.

And look, if you're like me and sit at a desk all day and need to eat a healthy snack, round these out with a protein-dense snack as well. The Ostrim Ostrich sticks are awesome essentially beef jerky, but without all the salt, fat and other disgusting mystery meat. 14g of protein per stick, a nice way supplement a snack of these energy bars and not feel like you're tipping the protein/carb balance in your diet. Over 40 states now have over 7% rates of diabetes make sure you're striking the right balance. Grams of carbs add up fast. Make no mistake, these bars are carbs with but a tiny smidgen of protein.

* Note: the truth is that flour is flour though whole grain barley flour like they use here is PACKED with nutrients but from a glycemic index standpoint, barley flour might as well be Wonder Bread...or so I've read. Hey, that rhymed. However, the flour here is a necessity and I wouldn't have them change them ONE BIT, as it's what makes them so soft and cookie-ish in terms of mouth-feel, rather than like a dense granola bar.

Agreed with the above comment that these Sunrise Energy Bars are sourced from Costco...though I wish Amazon would offer these for the wider online market shopping customer.

Btw, these are now individually packed at around 30 per package at your neighborly Costco. I usually go through 2 packages of these a month and are priced just right for it's healthy benefits.

Packed with healthy ingredients, O3FA and fiber...I consume 3-4 bars each morning and I have enough energy and concentration at work with lotsa walking involved (nurse at hospital unit). This replaced my work booster coffee habits..and even helped me lower my blood pressure, lose weight and maintain my now healthy levels of cholesterol.

These are my god-send breakfast-to-go! Thank You, Sunrise!!

Kashi Apple Cinnamon Instant Oatmeal

Kashi Oatmeal Apple Cinnamon Cereal, 12.1 oz

The cinnamon is arrived as described and everything is good. However, I was charged for $8 for duty fee or handle fee by post office. I do not know why I was charged. Next time I still are happy to order something from this company, but I suggest this company does not include shipping fee into the total price which customer spend when they fill out the form at post office.

Crunchy is the key word here.

I purchased these snack bars because they don't contain the usual bugaboos: high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, artificial sweeteners, etc. However, they're mighty hard to chew. And that's *probably* a good thing.

I'm a hardcore fan of Quaker Oats granola bars, because they're a quick snack and they're heavy-laden with sugar, but they also have the HFCS (bad, bad) and hydrogenated oils (bad, bad, BAD). However, they are easy to chew (probably because of the nice, soft plastics they contain). I am striving to slowly back away from the QO granola bars because of their unhealthy and lengthy ingredient list.

The Kashi brand snacks are agreeable to the palate and they do have enough sugar for my personal tastes, but I have a couple crowns and I wonder if my over-priced prosthetic teeth can survive this healthy eating experience.

That being said, these are the snacks of choice for long car trips. For one, I'll never pig out on them and two, they're good for the tummy. They provide a little energy boost and they're high octane fuel for this four-layer bio-suit we call a human body.

I'm working my way through the different flavors. My favorites are the pumpkin spice and peanut butter, yet honestly, I can't discern an enormous difference between these three (pumpkin, PB and honey toasted).

these are awesome little crunchy bars that taste just like the nature valley "oat and honey" ones, but with much better nutritionals and ingredients. a great, filling, slightly sweet snack!

Great breakfast bars-they keep me full until lunch.

It is hard to believe that these are good for you-they taste like graham crackers! I love them.

The price is terrible though-You can actually buy 12 boxes on for cheaper! 12 boxes is about $ bucks on their site. Amazon usually has the better deals but not this time.

These bars are so great....they taste good, its convenient to have them auto-shipped to us, and on top of that, they are healthy for me and my family.
