mix this up with total every morning. Lots of cereal for a better price than my local Ralphs. Order it in bunches and shipped to the home. Tastes great and healthy.
I've been a huge fan of this cereal for years. It has just the right combination of chewy dates and raisins, crunchy pecans, and crispy flakes. It's not overly sweet, either -one of my biggest complaints with most breakfast cereal. It IS fairly high in carbs, though, so bear that in mind. I usually have 3/4 C with either 6 oz non-fat yogurt or 1/2 C of skim milk to minimize the "points" total (I do Weight Watchers, and that combination is 7 points). It's fairly filling, though, so I don't need much to feel full.
It's not something I have every day, but it's a great treat.

This is my favorite cereal. Even though I appreciate the convenience of automatic shipment of six boxes at a time, at a locked-in price, I sometimes find the product at a local store for a lower price for a short sale period, and I buy several boxes (all that I can reach). When I have too many for my available storage space, I can easily adjust my delivery date, so it's a win-win situation.

I actually discovered this cereal at least over 15 years ago while I was on vacation as a teenager with my parents. We stayed at a cute Bed and Breakfast and they served this cereal. It was in a fancy silver bowl, so we had to ask what it was. I have been addicted ever since. Like many cereals, if left in milk for too long it gets soggy; so it is best to eat right away after pouring the milk on. I especially love the nuts and the dates. It is a staple in my pantry.
It comes out great every time, though that might be more of an accolade to K-cups than this brand of tea. It's reasonably strong when it comes out; not TOO strong, and it tastes great, consistently. I find that if I want a second cup I can use the same K cup; it's not as strong, but it is still more than adequate. I guess it's like teabags in that respect. I will buy it again, same brand, when I run out.
