Ygrt Bar, Orchard Peach , 1.41 oz (pack of 12 )

Ygrt Bar, Orchard Peach , 1.41 ozI just bought some of these at the store and I was so impressed that I had to come to Amazon and spread the word. And no I do not work for the company nor am I affiliated in any way.

I have been searching all over for a healthy protein bar that is low in sugar and fat and one that doesn't contain sugar alcohols that upset my stomach. These fit the bill perfectly and taste delicious. They are all natural and do not have that sickeningly sweet taste that so many of the bars have these days. Also, they include probiotics.

6 grams fat, 8 grams sugar, 7 grams protein 160 calories for a 40 oz bar, and no sugar alcohols! Tastes too good to be this good for you! I chose the peach flavor because the nutrition info was the best for the flavors that the store carried. Can't wait to try some of the others.

Hodgson Mill Oat Bran Hot Cereal -- 16 oz

Hodgson Mill Oat Bran Hot Cereal -- 16 ozI don't like hot cereal with sugar and milk. An addict of oat bran, I make mine with chicken broth (+half water) and a couple of added herbs and onion flavoring. Every morning it's like being allowed to eat all the delicious stuffing out of the turkey with no guilt!

Hodgson's Mill Oat Bran seems to be the best of the lot -it tastes freshly milled and it cooks quickly. But it's hard to find in certain areas and the company's customer service is not helpful when it comes to finding retailers. Thank goodness for Amazon.

As a regular user for several months now, it's nice to report a weight loss, even during the holiday season and cold winter. Could that be because a bowl of oat bran (with no added fat) is so filling that snacks and even lunch become unnecessary?

I can't believe I paid here over $11..big mistake

on my part should checked local first...

just paid under $ 3.00 for 16 oz at our local Publix

rated a 5 * for the item...

I used to eat Quaker Oat Bran but one day discovered Hodgson's. I eat it every morning and it is the best, brown and crunchy compared to the bland whiteness of Quaker or Mother's. I add water and a few peach slices, some ginger and a pinch of pepper, then two minutes in the microwave and it's a great way to start the day. When my local supermarket stopped carrying it, for some reason, I found this offer and immediately bought 10 boxes. And when they're gone, I'll buy 10 more!

Want Hodgson Mill Oat Bran Hot Cereal -- 16 oz Discount?

This is the BEST OAT Bran cereal. But one star because it is over-priced! Should be less than $3.00 a box, if purchased from your local grocery store, such as Harris Teeter or Publix. Or order directly from Hodgson Mill website for a case with 6 boxes for a total of $11.50, though shipping costs are high. Or order from iherb website at $2.07 a box, lower shipping charges. Still this is the best Oat Bran cereal in the market.

Cherry Walnut Granola, 1 lb.

Cherry Walnut Granola, 1 lb.I'm not a fan of granola by any means: at least not until now. I have tried making my own on many occasions but the mess, expense, amount of ingredients to keep on hand and the less than satisfactory results have pretty much turned me off. I purchased this product in 3 flavors as a last ditch effort: Cherry Walnut, Almond and Maple Walnut. They arrived together in 2 days, well packaged, fresh and crunchy. Did I mention FLAVORFUL? I am a true convert. This is the best. While I like all 3, my favorite is the Maple Walnut, followed by the Almond and then Cherry Walnut (mostly because the huge dried cherries taste more like golden raisins than cherries, but still very good. I should also mention that while the dried cherries are about the size of the bowl of a teaspoon and look like they are soft and pliable, they are very hard and take a lot of careful chewing, after which they become sticky. I didn't find that texture pleasant). And when the ingredients listed walnuts or almonds, I figured it would be microscopic smooshed up pieces mixed in so small I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a sesame seed and a piece of walnut or almond. BUT, the almonds are large pieces or whole almonds while the walnuts well, the walnuts are planet-sized: sometimes 1/2 of an entire walnut and there are tons of them in a single bag of this granola. The maple walnut is the only one I find a bit on the sticky side, but not like caramel popcorn sticky-just a bit tacky. I've already used this in yogurt, cottage cheese, oatmeal, as a snack in mid afternoon, in salads, pancakes and yesterday morning, I made Bisquick biscuits and added some of all 3 flavors as an experiment. The biscuits were marvelous. Now, if I could only remember WHAT I did so I can make them again with the same success! Try this. I don't think you'll be disappointed. If you are, you can send it to me!! :)
