Well, my husband never liked oatmeal. After he tasted this one he eats this everyday for breakfast. Its easy to fix. Microwave it with milk. Dress it with dried fruit and nuts. Its great without any other sweeteners.

I'm not a particularly finicky eater but these oats contain too many husks. I've tried several other brands plus other Country Choice oat cereals and have never encountered so many husks, the hard inedible oat cover. After every breakfast there is a stack of at least a half dozen husks on my place mat. These oats taste fine but the husks might be a deal breaker for me.

Dalmatia Dried Fig Spread - with Orange (8 ounce)

I bought these thinking that I would try something different. These are amazing. Fig preserves are a southern tradition. I make my own fig jam in the summer; I will never be able to make it like this.

All fig preserves are pricey and this is no different. This is dense and sweet. Try it on a warm biscuit with butter.

My great aunt was here and wanted to make fruit filled cookies for me. I searched my pantry and found this sitting on my shelf, I had purchased it on clearance some time back but didn't know what to do with it. She used the whole jar to fill her rolled and cut cookies and they ended up being my new favorite cookie. this spread is the best fruit filling I have ever had in a cookie. Excellent tasting fig spread. Almost addictive, I love it with Brie and crackers and also as a spread for my breakfast toast. It is Fig Jam so it is seedy and the seeds occasionally get under the dentures but it tastes good enough that its worth the trouble.

Nature's Path Organic Smart Bran, Psyllium & Oatbran Cereal, 10.6-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

I try a lot of high fiber / low sugar cereals, and this one is the best yet. It has a mild, slightly sweet flavor, and you cannot tell there's 13g of fiber per serving. Also...I find it really fills me up, which is unusual for cold cereals. Good sprinkled on yogurt as well.

This is a GREAT tasting and HEALTHY cereal which I enjoy for my breakfast almost every day of the week. Kudos to to Nature's Path for producing a cereal that tastes good and really is healthy! Almost all other cereals including so-called "healthy" high fiber ones have HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP as one of the principle ingrediants.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I first tried Smart Bran. I love its crunchy texture and great flavor, all the more because it is low in sodium and low in sugar without resorting to using Aspartame. The fact that all of the ingredients are organic is a definite health plus. I have been eating Fiber One original (the "twigs") for years because it seemed to be the only really high fiber cereal (14 grams)and was not loaded with sugar in one form or another. It is sweetened with Aspartame, however, contains corn oil, guar gum and a few other less-than-desireable ingredients, and is primarily corn bran. Smart Bran is composed of Oat Bran which has been shown to help reduce high cholesterol. I haven't heard anything about corn bran in that regard. Smart Bran also contains psyllium in a very tasty form & works great for keeping the lower digestive track functioning efficiently. I mix a rounded quarter cup of Smart Bran with fresh fruit and cottage cheese for my breakfast most mornings and find it's a great way to start the day. Buying it through Amazon in a 6 pack saves me more than $1.50 per box over local supermarket prices, and I don't have to worry about it being out of stock. Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup for Keurig K-Cup Brewers, Half-Caff

I am trying to decrease my caffeine intake and this coffee is perfect for it...it tastes great and still has a good amount of caffeine but not too much

I loved the flavor and strength of the Green Mountain Breakfast Blend. Since the fully caffinated Breakfast Blend was not available on Amazon, I shopped for the next best thing. I thought it would be a great idea to purchase the 1/2 caff, and perhaps I would get the same great flavor, same milder coffee and quality as the regular Green Mountain I was used to (with half the caffine). WRONG. Although still a perfectly drinkable coffee, the 1/2 caff seems to be a darker roast and not nearly as mild as the fully caffinated Breakfast Blend. Actually tasted bitter, as compared to it's fully caffinated counterpart. Priced well and free shipping as an Amazon Prime member, so that's a plus. I won't throw it out, but did go right out shopping for the Breakfast Blend I was used to. This box of Half-Caff will be for "emergency" use for me.

I've been percolating coffee for 30+ years. To me, there is nothing like a percolator for a really good, HOT cup of coffee. However, even though I only drank two cups per day, if I missed my morning java, I would get one of those 'caffeine headaches;' not very pleasant. So, about 10 years ago, I started mixing equal parts of regular and decaffeinated coffee, thus solving my problem; I could still get a little caffeine boost without the withdrawal. Then we got a Keurig at work, and while I really liked the convenience, I didn't want to go back to 100% caffeineated coffee. I tried two different decaf K-Cup flavors and they were terrible. Then I heard about Half-Caff. It's delicious; a perfect blend of caffeine & decaf, and dare I say, just as good as my percolated coffee, which I never imagined. Actually, I have to say its better because of the convenience. In short, because of Half-Caff, I bought a Keurig for my house, and Half-Caff is the only flavor K-Cup I use (I don't like flavored coffee) Highly recommended! Well, gotta go have my coffee now...

I needed a half-caff coffee to use in my Keurig to get me thru the afternoon (but not keep me up all night). This coffee does do the job.

The only negative is a matter of my own taste. I MUCH prefer dark roasted coffee, and this is definitely light-to-medium. Tastes like Denny's coffee. Just fine, not earth-shattering...

My very favorite K-cup coffee is Obsidian (by Caribou) to get a sense of what I wished it tasted like!

Erewhon Corn Flakes Cereal, Gluten Free, Organic, 11-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

I am not a sugary foods eater anymore and I read some reviews where the reviewer said this product was taste-less.

And I sure it was to them so not to belittle that experience ... but for me this product has great taste and crunch.

Texture and taste are important and this cereal had both. This cereal is Organic, Gluten Free and Unsweetened.

Therefore, I bought this product. So many gluten free cereals are sweetened and I don't want that, esp. in the morning.

This cereal is simple but the cereal holds up well to the unsweetned almond milk, meaning it doesn't get "soggy" too quickly either.

To me, these flakes taste "toasty", as in toasted corn and that is where the flavor comes from.

I add liquid Stevia (all natural chemical free sweetner) directly to my Almond Milk. This is where I get my desired added flavor

and sweetness.

Good to use for recipes calling for Corn Flakes too. Chances are your recipe has all the sugar and flavor you want already so why add more sugar via corn flakes if you don't have too.

Most people taste buds are conditioned by our American processed foods to taste, register and like sugary and salty only.

This cereal allows you to determine if you want sugar in that breakfast bowl or not. Not alot of cereals give you that option.

Esp. those that are organic and gluten free as well.

I love these cornflakes. I can't believe anyone would say they taste like cardboard?? I think they ate the Nature's Path version instead which are thick and icky. These are light and delicious with a real corn taste. I eat them with soymilk or in my yogurt. They really are good and look just like the cover of the box. They are the best cornflakes out there. If you are looking for a more natural version of Kellog's cornflakes this is the brand to buy. The other brands taste awful and I have tried them all!

Addendum: I realized that the BAD reviews are from their OLD Version of the corn flakes. You have to try their NEW version which says "NEW" right on the box. If it doesn't say NEW you are eating the old version and the old version does taste like cardboard. I realized this after I wrote my review and opened a box of the old recipe (the store I bought mine at must have had some old versions left) and they are awful. I recommend trying them again if you didn't like them before they really are delicious and light not like they used to be. I'm bringing this box back to get the new version.
