Diamond Nuts Harvest Reserve Walnut Halves, 6-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)

Diamond Nuts Harvest Reserve Walnut Halves, 6-Ounce BagsThese Diamond Harvest Reserve Walnut Halves are excellent quality and value. They are fresh tasting with large sized perfect halves. I am very pleased with this item.

Diamond Nuts Harvest Reserve Walnut Halves, 6-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)What I liked most was that the walnuts lived up to what was advertised!

On the package label it says "Diamond Walnut Halves". Indeed, for each of

the packages (3) that I have opened so far, virtually all the contents

of each package were Walnut Halves with only a very, very few pieces!!

The product is great. They're very tasty additions to many foods. Great source of protein, too.

I ordered a regular shipment of the cartons of walnuts and the shipments are prompt.

My only concern is maybe that they are too prompt. Seems like they are stacking up in our pantry. Guess I need to verify the frequency of shipment I requested. I thought it was every 4 weeks, but maybe they're coming faster than that. I go through 3 bags per week, pretty regularly. We'll see if that stabilizes after another cycle or two.

I have been a fan of Diamond Walnut Halves for many years. I don't like the fact that corn oil is used.

Go Raw Spirulina Energy Bar, 14 gram Bars, 10 CountIt might look weird, but it does taste real good, a little dry though. A great tasting and healthy snack.

My wife thinks these are fantastic! She usually eats them when she is craving something sweet or in need a quick energy boost. Perfect, tasty snack loaded with life.

These little bars are the perfect snack! They are nutritious and yummy. Coconut and banana are great flavors paired with spirulina. The bars are live sprouted. I just wish they had a bigger pack that didnt cost an arm and a leg. I would love to get these more often. I def reccomend to any one looking for a great, healthy snack not packed with inorganic products.

These are really yummy and healthy treats. They aren't high calorie or high protein as compared to many "bars". They are more of the yummy, light, and healthy variety. They are very sweet and have an enjoyable texture. The first one I ate I was like, "hmm, this is interesting". The second one I was like, "these are delicious!"

At less than a dollar a pop, I think you can't go wrong. Enjoy.

Not "bars" more like a large stick of gum. They taste ok, and I'm sure they are good for you, but they are too small to be called a bar.

ExtendBar, Peanut Butter Chocolate Delight, 1.41-Ounce Bars (Pack of 15)

ExtendBar, Peanut Butter Chocolate Delight, 1.41-Ounce BarsBoth my husband and I really enjoy the ExtendBars. They were recommended by my husband's diabetic counselor and they are a great snack at anytime. The taste and crunchy texture are excellent and he doesn't have to worry about raising his blood sugar. We have tried the peanut butter chocolate delight and mixed berry delight and have already re-ordered twice. The only improvement would be to have a box of mixed flavors so we could try them all.

With so many products claiming to help with Blood sugars this is the first that actually does. I use them before excercise and if I need a little boost to get me through the night. Morning blood sugars have remained consistant and my last A1C was a 6.5. Not bad for a 25 year Type 1 diabetic. Great product

These are a staple in our house of one diabetic and one trying to lose weight. We do the subscribe and save here on amazon, and chocolate peanut butter delight seems to be the flavor we like the best.

One unfortunate thing, as pointed out in another review, is that there isn't a mixed "sampler" box that could include 2 or so of each to try. We bought an entire box of the apple and they were really not good to us. If that was the only flavor someone ever tried, I could see a one star review.

We had tried the chocolate delight and the peanut delight from our local Walgreens after reading about them online...both were good, but much more expensive there and only 5 in a box...and they only had those two flavors. So we ordered a box of the choc pb delight and the apple...we have been ordering 1 or 2 boxes a month of the choc pb delight for over a year.

Wonderful for bedtime, as my DH struggles with high fasting BG readings when he sleeps too long, or for snacks [dips in his BG when he goes too long without eating]. We both use them as a quick and easy breakfast when we have no time to make something. Decent protein amount and not much sugar, so no crash like with some high carb bars.

I would love an almond flavor...maybe toffee almond? Maybe an oatmeal banana...? Anyhow. These are awesome, just need a sampler box.

Good tasting bar that keeps my blood sugar around 120ish in the morning. I also eat one around 10am to keep me from snacking all day long.

I bought these to have a high fiber, high protein, low carb, low GL-impact snack. They meet those requirements. The taste isn't great, but its not horrible, either, and the price is about half of what I paid for a competing product. I do plan to order more, maybe trying a different flavor. I'd recommend these, but with the caveat that they're edible but not outstanding.

Bob's Red Mill Buckwheat Pancake Mix, 26-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4)

Bob's Red Mill Buckwheat Pancake Mix, 26-Ounce BagsI simply love Bob's Red mill products, and love Amazon for selling them for quite a bit less than Whole Paycheck. I've been enjoying a lot of things from them recently, including Kamut Breakfast Cereal and a really delicious soup mix. Their Buckwheat Pancake mix is another example of a healthy, tasty, and reasonably priced item from Bob's Red Mill. I got a taste for Buckwheat pancakes as a kid (My mom used to make them on cold mornings in January), but stopped eating them as an adult. My wife LOVES pancakes, and while I enjoy them too, I find the regular kind not keep me filled up, nor are they particularly healthy. I remembered that I used to really like buckwheat pancakes, and decided to hunt some up. I found these, and have been enjoying them ever since.

The mix is easy to prepare, but this isn't a 'complete' mix and does require an egg and some oil in addition to cold water. As an alternative you can use milk, which gives the pancakes a slightly richer flavor. Milk or water, either way they're tasty! Buckwheat is a wholegrain, meaning these fill you up and keep you filled much longer than traditional pancakes which are full of sugar and cheap carbs. I can eat probably a dozen regular pancakes. I can only manage to put away 5-6 of these guys!

A few recommendations on preparation:

1) Mix the pancake batter and then let it sit 30 minutes or even an hour in your refrigerator. It makes the pancakes lighter and fluffier.

2) Go for thinner batter rather than thick. It makes the pancakes easier to cook, and gives you a tastier pancake as a result.

3) Cook on medium heat, not high. Because the batter is dark to begin with, it is harder to tell when your pancakes are done without overcooking them. Use less heat to help you get them cooked perfectly.

4) You can easily mix this batter with a regular pancake mix to make 'hybrid' cakes if you find these are a bit too thick for your taste. I've gone that route a few times for my wife since she likes her pancakes less dense than these.

5) Get yourself some real maple syrup! Nothing goes as well with Buckwheat pancakes than real maple syrup! That's how the American pioneers ate them, and I love feeling like I'm participating in an American tradition when I make these for my family.

6) Eat them for dinner! Pancakes and eggs for dinner is amazing.

You can't go wrong with these pancakes. Buy them. Cook them. Eat them. Repeat!

I remember Buckwheat Pancakes from years ago. The thought of these heavy, rich tasting pancakes brings a sigh to my lips. My Mom useed to cook these when I was a kid, and I always loved them...now, I fixed them for my Grandson, and he feels the same...3 pancakes, 2 eggs, and lots of butter and real Homemade Hot Sugar and vanalla suyrp...OMG...soooo good. layer a pancake, then egg, then pancake, then another egg, finished by another pancake to make the Family Stacker! I found this brand a few years back, and it is the real thing...easy to make, healthy, and Lord knows...eat 3 of these and you will NOT be hungry in a couple hours! They Stick with you. Is a common breakfast item from long ago...settlers and farmers...eat these and you could plow a field, and have more energy to make it till lunch! Be Well, and Blessings upon all...

These buckwheat pancakes come out great and you don't need to feel guilty about eating something with an ingredients list that is frighteningly long. Like someone else mentioned, these pancakes are best served with maple syrup, not aunt jemima high fructose corn syrup. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the mix in waffle form. Throw in Bananas or chocolate chips or walnuts etc for a twist!

Here's the recipe on the back of the package (I've bought three packages in the past couple months and just recently put one and a half into a container for better storage (threw out the package)and looked all over the internet for it!):

Pancake Mix:

1 cup mix

1 egg

1 tsp oil

3/4 cup cold milk

Waffle Mix:

1 cup mix

2 eggs

2 tsp oil

3/4 cup cold milk

My grandkids don't even know they are eating whole grain pancakes, the texture is like regular pancakes. I also like the fact that Bob's Red Mill mixes are all organic but the price is very reasonable. These pancakes are easy to make and my husband asks for them often, many times for dinner. I gave my daughter a package of this pancake mix and now her family is hooked on these pancakes. I highly recommend this mix, once you try it you will be glad you did.

BOB'S VS. BISQUICK:

I went to Bob's Buckwheat Pancake Mix (have now gone through two 4-packs!) from using Bisquick, mainly to get away from the refined flour and get some better, whole grain nutrition. I'm happy I did, and wouldn't go back; it's my body I'm feeding. The negative is, and some others have noted it here, is that this mix doesn't produce particularly light, fluffy pancakes. They're good, but not super light like Bisquick did. Maybe if you beat and fold in egg whites (but I don't eat eggs). That's not to say they don't rise, or they aren't good, and great tasting.

BOB'S VS MADE FROM SCRATCH

No comparison. I bought organic bulk buckwheat flour (which you can get pretty inexpensive in a 25lb bag if you're a nut) from Amazon; search for "Great River Organic Milling." I then made my own egg-less, butter-less, milk-less version from something I found on the web:

3/4c Buckwheat flour

3/4c Whole wheat flour

1.5 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Baking Soda (I think you could switch this to Baking Powder, but this came from the recepie)

1/4 tsp salt

1 tbsp (that's tablespoon) Agave Nectar (you can totally skip this; it's a low glycemic index sweetener)

2 tbsp olive oil (you could use melted coconut oil if you're worried about the heat on the olive oil). I wouldn't skip the oil though; buckwheat can be a bit sticky on the pan, even a no-stick.

water to consistency (I'm assuming you've made pancakes before; I never measure my water)

*Cook IMMEDIATELY after adding the water. Do not let it sit around for 20 min.

*Cook on lightly oiled no-stick pan; I use cast iron and it's great, but you do need a little oil as Buckwheat is a bit sticky.

Good lord, they were ridiculously light and fluffy. Amazingly so. Blew Bob's out of the water. I haven't tried 100% buckwheat flour yet, but after doing some more reading, it appears that would work fine as well.

I'm not sure why Bob's mix produces pancakes that are so heavy in comparison, because it's basically the same ingredients. Perhaps it's something about a fresh mix. Maybe the baking powder/soda goes flat???? I have no idea, but I'm doing all mine from scratch from now on. No question about it.

SUMMARY:

If you really want to just open a bag and use it, I think Bob's is great stuff, and good for you. If you want super fluffy pancakes, make your own; they're much better, and that way you can also go all-Buckwheat.

Eat Natural Brasils Sultanas, Almonds, Peanuts and Hazelnuts, 1.76-Ounce, 12-Count Boxes

Eat Natural Brasils Sultanas, Almonds, Peanuts and Hazelnuts, 1.76-Ounce, 12-Count BoxesI have been buying these for years. They are great -very filling. The other reviewer is correct they are on the sweet side. I love them. I keep one in my purse at all times. There are more than 3 varieties made, but they are the only 3 Amazon carries. The yogurt covered bars are even sweeter but I love those too.

Not something I'll buy again rather bland puffed rice and nuts (mostly Brazil nuts and almonds), sweetened with glucose syrup and with some raisins mixed in the only fruit I could taste, though the ingredient list includes apricots and peach. The result is bland as well as overly sweet. Though "Eat Natural" yogurt-coated almond & apricot bars are even sweeter, they're far tastier and would be my choice if I were to buy "Eat Natural" bars again. I prefer Larabars to either though I know they're not everyone's cup of tea. (And the dates and other fruit used to sweeten Larabars seem more natural ingredients to me than the glucose syrup used to sweeten "Eat Natural" bars.)

This is a very good bar. There are lots of nuts and different kinds of fruit, but there is a bit too much sweetener (honey, etc). Good for breakfast, or half of one as a snack to get me through to lunch/dinner.

Great price! Cheaper than Kind bars, although not as many different kinds available.

These are ok and very filing but I don't think I will purchase them again. I prefer the kind bars, they are more expensive and I decided to try something similar but it wasn't the same. I saw these a lot in Europe, they seem to be more popular over there. They are worth trying.

Glutenfreeda's Instant Oatmeal, Variety Pack, 6-Count Packets (Pack of 8)

Glutenfreeda's Instant Oatmeal, Variety Pack, 6-Count PacketsI won't even delve into the fact that this oatmeal is gluten free, because it doesn't matter. This is by far the best instant oatmeal I've ever tasted, and I've tasted them all. Take it from this died-in-the-wool oatmeal addict, you don't want your cupboard to be bare of this product. Forget the dried out packets that lurk in your grocery aisle, because they not only look but taste like cardboard. These oats have a higher moisture content already, and so they are naturally more plump in the bowl, and their taste is more consistent with long-cook-time oatmeal than any of their other counterparts. The added ingredients really are only the finest, and the taste proves it raisins are yummy when plucked directly from the packet! I don't care for cooked bananas, but the banana oatmeal is just as delicious as my favorite maple flavor. The price is reasonable for this organic, gluten-free product. The taste is without parallel. This is a product I can recommend at the highest level without a single doubt or qualification!Glutenfreeda's Instant Oatmeal, Variety Pack Instant Oatmeal, 6-Oatmeal Packets (Pack of 8)

I have been gluten-free for over 5 years and dairy and soy-free for 9 months. My daughter has been corn-free for quite some time and gluten and dairy-free for the past 10 months. We were ecstatic when we learned about Glutenfreeda's Oatmeal being safe for both of us. It had been soooo long since I could make a packet of flavored oatmeal in a jiffy. And with my daughter's corn-allergy, it has been even longer for her. We are now in heaven and love all three flavors, but my favorite is the Banana Maple and my daughter's fav is the Maple Raisin. We eat it for breakfast, snacks, whatever. It isn't as sweet as we both like it, but a spoon of demerara organic sugar and we're both ready to enjoy.

Anyone who can buy any brand or kind of instant oatmeal off the shelf just can not fathom our excitement, but it is truly a wonderful thing to be able to enjoy instant oatmeal again!!

Have a delicious day! Wish I wrote that but it's off the box.So is this "We make glutenfree delicious..it's what we do" and boy did Glutenfreeda do it again.I've been hooked on Glutenfreeda products since they introduced their frozen cookies years ago. I was delighted to see them come out with instant oatmeal and I wasn't disappointed.I was doubly delighted to see the oatmeal offered on Amazon.com. Win,win! When you read the ingredient list you will see whyOff the Maple Raisin with Flax box :certified gluten free oats, raisins, organic maple sugar, brown sugar , flax meal and salt. That's it and yes you read the ingredient list correctly.Real ingredients for my real family.I was very happy to see a very low sodium content and the addition of flax.

I always have a packet with me for a quick snack or those "eat at the desk" lunches. My husband who is not on the gluten free diet loves this oatmeal. He says the oats taste fresher. And for my Celiac college student this product has made his life so much easier. He can have a healthy breakfast in his dorm room or at the food court with no worry of cross-contamination.Like me he always has a packet in his backpack for snacks or a quick lunch.

Thank you Glutenfreeda!

Oatmeal is a tough one for people who are gluten-free out of medical necessity. Technically oats are naturally gluten-free. However, oats are a rotation crop with wheat, barley and rye particularly in the United States; your mileage may vary in other countries, making it even more confusing! What a "rotation crop" means is the verboten grains planted in other years pop up in the field with the oats, thus cross-contaminating both in the field and within the harvesting & processing. Gluten-free oats are grown like organic oats, requiring the field to be unused for four years prior to planting, and then processed on specific equipment only for the gluten-free oats.

Up until recently, the only option was Bob's Red Mill gluten-free oats. Don't get me wrong -their oats are great, especially for baking into recipes, but it is complicated and time-consuming to make oatmeal as a dish on its own the old-fashioned way. I've found they rarely come out the way I want them for that purpose. Additionally, they only come in plain.

Enter Glutenfreeda with flavored instant oatmeal. Let me repeat that: flavored instant oatmeal. And it's delicious! It comes in several flavors: apple cinnamon, maple raisin, banana maple, natural (plain), strawberry & brown sugar, cranberry cinnamon, and a variety pack containing the first three listed flavors. All of them contain (extremely healthy) flax except for plain. Like any "normal" instant oatmeal, this product can be prepared with piping hot water from a kettle or in a microwave. Easy peasy!

I buy this variety pack almost exclusively; I prefer the apple cinnamon & maple raisin flavors and my toddler daughter prefers the banana maple, so it works very well for us. Like most if not all gluten-free packaged foods, it's not cheap but it is so worth it for the pleasure of having instant oatmeal and being able to easily give it to my child. We both love this instant oatmeal!

CytoSport Muscle Milk N Oats Whole Grain Oatmeal Maple Brown Sugar -- 2 oz

CytoSport Muscle Milk N Oats Whole Grain Oatmeal Maple Brown Sugar -- 2 ozI had one of these this morning and was pleasantly surprised. Specs were something like 30g protein, 32g carbs, 6g fat. The consistency is a little finer/mushier than typical instant oatmeal would be, but that's to be expected with the addition of the protein. The overall taste was good though with a mild sweetness and no bitterness or aftertaste.

I wouldn't want to eat it every morning, but for those lazy mornings, it's a quick way to get some warm protein before heading out the door. I'll try the vanilla tomorrow. Can't see myself eating cocoa flavored oatmeal though, so I'll pass on that one.

I was very happily surprised. The hummus tastes wonderful. I also like adding my own touch ever so often. It makes a fantastic base for Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Sun Dried Tomato Hummus, Roasted Garlic Hummus, Black Olive Hummus, and more. It also tastes incredible simply prepared with out the extra frills. The flavors are rich, spicy, and really well rounded, and it is the only mix that tastes much like the Hummus I make from scratch. Do I intend to buy more? Probably in double. I eat it a lot. I fully suggest that if you enjoy Hummus, this is the Hummus mix for you. Buy It and you won't be sorry.

The ingredient list with this product is:

Ingredients: Precooked dehydrated garbanzo bean flour, sesame tahini, salt, dehydrated garlic, extra virgin olive oil, spices, sea salt, citric acid, lemon juice powder (maltodextrin, citric acid, tocopherol), toasted sesame oil, lemon oil, rosemary extract.

I was very upset to find that this is the real ingredient list, where online the original humus has a different list and they advertised this as gluten free. I can not eat matlodextrin as it is often times derived from wheat, making it unreasonable that they can call this product gluten free. I didn't get the real list until it shipped to my house and now I cannot return it. Thus I am stuck with 10lbs of inedible product.

Know what you are buying before you buy. If you are gluten/wheat intolerant you should rethink buying this.

Torani Strawberry Banana Real Fruit Smoothie Mix, 64 ozI love the ease of use and great taste. It is higher in sugar but very easy to mix and tasty to drink.

Wanted to get this since I saw that the gym I go to used this alongside a protein powder to make protein shakes which they charged $5. It is a lot cheaper to make your own with this and your own protein so I recommend. Too bad torani doesn't sell direct since I guess usually they reserve this for merchants or businesses which is dumb.
