Leonard Mountain Belgian Waffle Mix, 19-Ounce Box (Pack of 4)

Leonard Mountain Belgian Waffle Mix, 19-Ounce BoxThe batter seems to require more moisture than the instructions call for and they don't give a baking time, but 4 minutes seems to work about right. The waffles taste more like regular waffles than Belgian Waffles. I was hoping they would have a more "malty" flavor.

Burger Zwieback (Rusk Bread)

Burger ZwiebackAfter inheriting a fantastic cheesecake receipe from my Mother I was very disappointed in my baking. The secret was in the crust. I was able to locate the secret on line and am back in action.

Highly recommended.

We've much enjoyed the plain old Nabisco Zweiback Crackers for more than 20 years, but they quit making them. Tried these instead. Yuk.

Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Black Tea K-Cup 48 Count Case for Keurig Brewers

Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Black Tea K-Cup 48 Count Case for Keurig BrewersGreat for my morning (breakfast) tea. Was about as cheap as I could find it, always sold out locally, so availability was big!

Not much to be said. I am no connoisseur of teas...Lipton tea bags is what I like best, but these K-cups provide the same flavor.

I like this tea. I substitute this for coffee some mornings. It has a nice flavor and is great with cream and sugar. My little girls use it for tea parties. Great tea!

Ready Break Original Fine Porridge Oats 250g /8.80 oz

Ready Break Original Fine Porridge Oats 250g /8.80 ozI was so happy to find this in the States odd and an acquired taste but a craving for anyone who's grown up with it and can remember the ad from the '80s.

Just loves it. If you do not like porridge with it's flaky bits, or lumos then this will be good for you. It is smooth textured, and great with a spoonful of sugar in it, or flavour it with jam,or cinnamon. Vanilla or chocolate chips is a good taste with it also.

Ready Brek was a treat when I was growing up in England in the 60's and 70's, and I occasionally buy it still. It is very finely ground oatmeal, and when mixed with water or milk tends to have the consistency of wallpaper paste (for those of us old enough to remember when you still had to slop paste on wallpaper), and the bland taste is probably similar too. Funny thing is, I like it! If you grew up on this, then try it for old time's sake; if you've never tasted it before, I can pretty much guarantee you'll find it to be gross!!

Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Grain Cereal, Cinnamon Raisin, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Grain Cereal, Cinnamon Raisin, 16-Ounce BoxesI love Ezekiel products. No flour=no fat gain. I use Ezekiel for bodybuilding because they make the most nutritional grains that provide sustained energy with a minimal insulin response, and of course they are a reputable ALL NATURAL company. Flour containing products are not as healthy and spike insulin (causing fat gain) compared to than sprouted grains, so to me flour has no place in everday diet (occasional desserts are a different story). I don't even have anything to comare Ezekiel to because nothing else I know of is flourless in terms of bread or cereal. Great products! Of course raisin is the best tasting of the cereals in my opinion but the others are fine too. They are a bit pricy, but you really do get what you pay for.

You know why many big name cereals (or any product for that matter) costs less?

1. lower quality ingredients

2. they add nutritionally USELESS things like trans fat (if you see the word 'hydrogenated' in the ingredients, there are trans fats present. Yes, even if the label says 0g trans fat because that actually means
