SoLo Gi Chocolate Charger Bars, 1.76-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12)

I love these bars, I'm so glad that Amazon has started carrying them, as it's difficult to find them in sufficient quantities! I literally eat one or two a day, and though a number of grocery and healthfood stores carry them, they often don't have the full cases I need.

The low GI takes a little getting used to at first you won't get an instant sugar rush like you will from other energy bars, but an hour or two later, you'll still be sated and won't be craving more carbs.

Great science, great taste (I prefer the chocolate and chocolate mint, but my wife prefers the berry and lemon), and these make it easy to get the healthy small meals I need to maintain even blood sugar levels (no, I'm not diabetic, but I've lost significant weight and kept it off by switching to a low-GI diet and more frequent, smaller meals).

I have searched high and low (no pun intended) for a convenient snack bar that tastes great and does not spike blood sugar. I cannot tolerate Aspartame, Splenda or any of the other artificial sweeteners out there and trying to find products that have stevia or agave nectar are not that easy (and those I've found have honestly not been that great).

These chocolate bars have a wonderful, chewy texture and they taste (to me)like a regular candy bar. Obviously, you can't go crazy and eat the whole box at once (although you will be tempted), but these wonderful bars will give those who try to eat low on the glycemic index the opportunity to enjoy a real treat.

Although the other members of my family are not bound by the same dietary restrictions, they LOVED these bars. I can tell they are going to be the treats of choice in my house. I can't wait to try the other flavors.

The glycemic index does not take away the WANTING to eat but you feel Full and it is easier to do what is good for you. Being a diabetic my problems are harder to deal with and these truly helped.

Received a flat of this product on a subscription. I was hoping to save money by buying in bulk and was looking forward to the convenience of having the product shipped on a scheduled basis.

The very first carton I opened contained a thick and lumpy fluid. It did not smell bad or have a distinct taste it just was not what I expected to come out of a carton that should have contained soy milk. Yes I did shake the carton well before opening it.

The second carton was fine.

The bottom line is that the loss of one carton from the flat eliminates the whole value proposition of buying in bulk and on-line. I would avoid this brand.

Update: Score so far for the pack of 12: 3 bad 8 good. One more to go!

I really like unsweetened soy milk and I was thrilled when I saw this product on Amazon. Not only is it unsweetened, it's also organic, and you can get it for cheaper through the subscription service. It's super convenient to just get a box of 12 cartons or so every month instead of having to lug them home from the grocery store.

I did recently discontinue this subscription for two reasons. First, I saw that the regular store-brand unsweetened organic soy milk is cheaper per carton than this one (even if I factor in the subscription discount). Second, and more important, I wanted to switch to a soy milk that is fortified with certain vitamins (i.e. B12, since I don't eat animal products).

That being said, I really liked the taste of that one and the convenience of the subscription service.

I cannot tolerate milk so this soymilk is ideal for me. It's fine for coffee and in anything that will overpower it. By itself it's not that great. Ii makes awesome protein shakes: 3 cups of soymilk, 2 scoops of soy protein powder and 3 to 4 tbsp of agave gives you 20gr of protein per cup. I have no sugar spikes with this drink and my stomach is happy with it.

Pleasant taste, smooth texture, although unsweetened, has a sweeter taste than some soy milks. Great in coffee!

I have to second what Croy said, I use this with All the Whey chocolate flavored whey protein and an electric mixer every weekday morning for breakfast. 3 cups & 2 scoops is just about right, adjust to thickness preference. I prefer it to be very thick, I find it tastes better and has more protein that way. On its own this soy milk is OK.

This granola is pretty good and satisfying, but nothing super special. This company makes a pumpkin flax seed granola that is to die for, so i was hoping this would be similar, but it isn't. If you can find the Pumpkin Flax Granola, get that instead!

I found this product at a hotel breakfast bar. I'm so glad I found it available on Amazon. IT's not sold in stores, as far as I can see.

Erin Baker's Homestyle Granola, Oatmeal Raisin, 12-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)

Good granola! The great flavor of crushed up oatmeal cookies, lots of raisins and a nice granola texture.

I've been on the search for a granola that is moist and chewy and doesn't taste and feel like dried pegboard. This is it!!!! And check out the ingredient list! Nothing that you can't spell or that contains more than 5 syllables. I almost hate to recommend it because it is SOOOOOOO good and I don't want them to run out. I was at Whole Foods last week and they only had the peanut butter. Which was great but I like the oatmeal raisin better. The raisins are chewy, not the nasty dried rock chips found in some other brands. Erin, these are amazing!

Oatmeal raisin is my favorite type of granola and I have tried many different brands. Erin Baker's is the best by far. Very crunchy and not too sweet. I like it right out of the bag as a snack and as a ceral with milk. Great stuff!!

Bonnie's Country Classic Peach Corn Salsa

All of Bonnie"s country classics are fabulous. The Peach corn salsa however, is absolutely the best we have ever tasted. It makes you want to eat it out of the jar with a spoon.

This salsa is the best. We used to buy the salsa in a little store in Alexandria MN when on vacation. On our last visit, the store had stopped carrying Bonnie's Country Classics. We were so thrilled to find the product on Amazon! Absolutely delicious!

Better Oats Oat Revolution! Instant Oatmeal ~ Maple & Brown Sugar Flavor ~ 5 Pouches per 7.55 oz Bo

I discovered BetterOats oatmeal at a local store. I have never eaten instant oatmeal as it never appealled to me. I am having problems with my teeth and it is difficult for me to chew. So I figured I would get some. Wow it was so good and so easy to fix. So I immediately popped onto Amazon (as I order many things from them) and was delighted they carried the product. However, what a shock I had when I saw what they were charging. It looks as though they come from other places but the cost per box is ridiculous. I am paying 50 cents per box, or 2/$1.00. at Save-A-Lot. Now this place doesn't carry a huge variety so I checked out Food Lion and Giant which carried each box (5 packets in each) for $1.49.

I felt I should let customers know about this pricing on Amazon. Perhaps Amazon will read this review and might consider selling them themselves and put in a price between 50 cents to $1.49 with Free Shipping and maybe the "subscribe and save" option. I checked around Amazon and found prices to really vary ------ for 3 boxes it varies from $4.13 to $7.49 a box, for 6 boxes $4.13. And I am paying 50 cents to $1.49 a box.

As a creature of habit, I have eaten two packs of Quaker instant at work for the past seven years. After trying three different flavors of Oat Revolution, I will never go back. Three reasons why:

1) Flavor. Simply put, it tastes better than Quaker. When I was buying Quaker I had to cut the Brown Sugar with a packet of plain. I did not have to do it with this brand. it was not overly sweet, just delicious. I just took a look at their website and they have an absurd number of flavors, including a dark chocolate that I have not seen at the store.

2) Smart packaging. This likely only applies to me, but because I ate breakfast at my work, I never made the same bowl of oatmeal twice. Sometimes, too much water, other times, too little. The Oat Revolution packet is the measuring cup. You fill the packet to the dotted line, and voila, perfect oatmeal every time.

3) Nod to the planet. They are conscious about environmentally-sensitive packaging.

I don't like oatmeal, but this stuff is wonderful. Not too sweet, nice grainy texture, and not a bunch of ingredients I can't pronounce.

Portion size is a bit small, such that one package leaves you wanting more, but two packages seems a bit much. Overall, though, very tasty and recommended.

Those of us who must limit sodium intake tend to be desperate for palatable low-sodium seasonings and grateful when we find them. BaconSalt has leapt way beyond merely "palatable," however, and brought new seasoning products to market that can make salt-hungry, bacon-deprived deprived folk like us absolutely giggle with delight. When we first learned about BaconSalt, we bought one of each flavor (the basics on Amazon, some special ones on the company website), plus extras for gifts. We sent a half-price gift package to loved ones at an APO address (as of this writing, the company actually gives military buyers/recipients a 50% discount -imagine that!). We have no interest in the company, BTW ... we're just happy consumers grateful to find that we needn't abandon the savory flavors of bacon in the pursuit of good health.

This is a great product but use it sparingly to get just a hint of bacon flavor. Too much and you'll get that Bac-Os like aftertaste.

It won't convert lead into gold or dry turkey breast into crispy smoked bacon but if you yearn for that slight bacon-y goodness in some macaroni and cheese or green salad, this will do the trick.

Just ordered some Baconnaise ... expect good things to happen!

I like to pan fry some burgers every once in awhile and adding this to the beef gives you a subtle hint of bacon along with that pepper kick. I think this is a great addition to the spice rack.

Bacon salt is the best invention since sliced bread. Put it on everything! Popcorn, eggs, pizza, meats. Works best as a finishing seasoning.
