I am a caregiver to my Mother and she is an oatmeal lover and has the quaker instant oatmeal in cinnamon roll or apples & cinnamon every single morning of her life. It is so convenient for me and also great that I don't have to dirty pots, pans or bowls every morning. Any convenience that can be added to a caregiver's life is worth it, however I would like to see this priced a little lower. I make this with milk and if I don't have milk in the fridge, I make it with water and a couple of heaping teaspoons of whole dry milk. I find that if you fill to the fill line that the oatmeal is too soupy so trial and error is best in the beginning.I have 2 flavors on a monthly subscribe and save!

I ordered one bottle of this to place on the breakfast table, and it was mostly gone that same day. It is perfect, not too sweet, complimenting without overwhelming the flavor of whatever you're pouring it on. Now I have to order more bottles, so I wish it was less expensive.

That said, I think that, as an occasional treat, these are pretty great. It's hard to find candy that isn't chock full of artificial colors, flavors, and high fructose corn syrup. I know this because I'm a compulsive reader of labels, and also someone who's trying to eliminate all artificial ingredients and HFCS from her family's diet. Given that, I'm really happy to be able to add this organic product to the list of infrequent treats I'm willing to give to my children.The texture of these is much like a gummy. Each shark-shaped chew is dusted with sugar, and comes in a variety of natural flavors. My seven-year-old told me they reminded her of fruit gems, and I think she hit the nail right on the head. They have that same kind of texture, chewy but not as rubbery as gummies can be. The flavors are very nice, and I was frankly a bit surprised that my daughter liked them as much as she did, given that she's been so programmed to gravitate toward the artificial products marketed to kids these days. It can be a challenge to find things with natural flavors that she enjoys, so the fact that she likes these really says a lot to me. I also like them. They're sweet, but not cloyingly so, and fun to chew. The flavors taste like actual fruit instead of like some scientific approximation of what fruit is supposed to taste like.
Though these aren't something I'd give my kids with wild abandon, I am pleased with them and would definitely give them every now and then to the kids as a treat. It's nice to have another item to add to my list of acceptable foods.

Nutritionally they just don't have anything better than typical gummy treats unless you are hardcore into organic ingredients. They taste ok, but so do just about any brand. Big whoop deal about the vitamin c-others have that additive too. Even in this bulk package of 12 you are going to pay over $1.10 per bag! Any piece of fruit is way better and will cost less. My kids thought they were like a combo of Swedish Fish and Sour Patch Kids (without the sour flavor). They both said they could have gone without the sugar coating and one of them only had a couple pieces then said he didn't want anymore. They compare very favorably in taste and texture to other bite-sized fruit snacks.That being said, I'm not sure what the point to their marketing is other than to confuse parents. Sure they have an organic component and they have added Vitamin C, no matter how small those components may be, but these snacks are LOADED with sugar. In fact they may have MORE sugar on/in them than your generic grocery store fruit snacks. I also haven't figured out the "Sports" part. As far as price, the list price of $18.00 is highway robbery and about 600X's the price of other name-brand fruit snacks let alone the generic brands that are available.
To me, this product is solely produced to take advantage of the growing snooty "buy healthy & organic" crowd out there who are willing and able to pay a higher price to get a product that they feel is better for them and their kids. Unfortunately this product seems to miss the target on all counts save taste and an overpriced taste at that.

As a runner I use these for a quick sugar blast on longer runs. They taste great, are compact enough to carry along, and wash down easily with some energy drink or water. Highly recommended.

The product is hard to find in the US stores and more of a novelty in the States. The flavor is superior to non-roasted buckwheat (IMO). Coming from former Soviet Block, where buckwheat is very common, it is good to find this on Amazon. The small downside is that it has little more than expected kernels' skins. Did not find any small stones or anything as oppose to non-roasted buckwheat from Red Mill.
I will finish them off by mixing them with my steel cut oatmeal and not bother to buy them again.

I rarely review food. Seriously. Most of it isn't worth it, good or bad. But this?? This?? I was tired of the "bland, flavorless" healthy cereals. Here is a company who gets it. They actually have granola cereals with FLAVOR, not just texture.It has a little more sugar in it than I would like (I have diabetes), but if you use it sparingly OR mix it with other things, you can really make it work. I have added it to hot oatmeal, used it for a yogurt topping (vanilla almond ROCKS this), mixed it with Rip's Big Bowl to make it taste better (half and half it's beautiful). I am contemplating how in the world to turn it into a pie crust. I really think there's a future there...
Love this product. Impact?? Please keep making delicious stuff like this!!
P.S. I actually discovered this when I was reaching for a box of Rip's at WF and a gentleman suggested I try this instead. I am usually dubious of stranger-recommended items, but I grabbed one to be polite and promptly went back the next day for another flavor.

Im not the granola type so I bought this for my husband since he likes oatmeal, muesli and that kind of stuff. I tried the IF granola one day on some yogurt and needless to say I am totally hooked--my two little daughters too. Great flavor, and I love that they make a donation to help feed needy children. A bit pricey its totally justified once you taste it.
