Buy Back To Nature Classic Granola, 13.5-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6) Now
I've been buying this granola for over a year. I believe it tastes great. It is even better when you mix it 50/50 with the "Pecan and Cranberries" granola from Back to Nature. I enjoy it both ways!Read Best Reviews of Back To Nature Classic Granola, 13.5-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6) Here
I love this granola ... I used to be able to buy it in the store and now I can't find this product anywhere so being able to order on line was a blessing! Thanks!Want Back To Nature Classic Granola, 13.5-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6) Discount?
We have enjoyed the Back to Nature Classic Granola for several years, and suddenly it is almost impossible to find it locally. Recently, I was able to purchase another hard-to-find product on Amazon for my daughter, so I decided to try Amazon again for the granola. The order arrived quickly and very securely packaged. I was skeptical about buying 6 pouches at once, but they had an 8-month expiration date. The first package we opened was very fresh. A very positive experience!Kashi Brown Maple Instant Oatmeal

I just noticed Amazon's small-type disclaimer that you can return the cereal if you're not satisfied with the freshness date. I received it on Feb 3 and it's dated good till March 16. I guess I can use up 2 boxes (16 packets) in 6 weeks, but I shouldn't have to, and returning the cereal is really more trouble than it's worth given the box size, packaging requirements, and need to take it to the post office. Also, if Amazon paid for the postage both ways, they'd lose money on this sale, so why bother?
By the way, I've checked out other Kashi products we've purchased at brick and mortar stores and the expiration dates go out 6 months or more in all cases.
How about Amazon just not ship cereal that's less than, say, three months out from its expiration date? This Kashi oatmeal smells wonderful as it cooks. I make it with water and microwave it for my daughter. She is a little girl with a severe milk and egg allergy and finding a healthy breakfast that doesn't involve milk or eggs was tough...until we discovered this oatmeal. It has a nice, hearty consistency and a great flavor. For those with a bit of a sweet tooth, a spoon of brown sugar or a drizzle of agave nectar will sweeten it up just wonderfully. A great way to start the day!I think this cereal tastes okay as cereal, but I like to eat cereals as snacks--right out of the box. This one doesn't work well that way because of the size of the flakes, the fact that they separate from the powdery flavoring, and they stick to your fingers. Of course, you'll probably use hot water with yours. Kashi adds a bunch of vitamins which is nice, but the big hype on oats is overblown. My ex-girlfriend had high cholesterol and calculated how many oat muffins she'd need to get the number down to acceptable--tons of them each day. She's a computer professional & VERY bright--and persistent. The muffins were good too--esp. the smell as they baked. You can't eat enough of this cereal to do the trick. No way. Still, it's a convenient packet & tastes okay.

Good texture (which is especially difficult to find in gluten free products.)
Highly recommend.I have been trying to find a protein bar that is low in sugar and fat. I also wanted to find something that doesn't contain sugar alcohols like maltitol that upset my stomach. So when I read about this product I was very excited to try it. It only contains 2 grams of sugar, 4.5 grams of fat, 17 grams of protein, and no sugar alcohols.
These bars taste good enough that I would continue to buy them if they didn't give me gastrointestinal discomfort (i.e. gas, diarrhea, cramping, etc.) I think it must be the chicory root. Anyway, even in very small quantities, I can't handle them.

I bought these as an impulse/curiosity buy when ordering another NuGo product. I've been using these bars as a meal replacement when I can't get away from my desk and haven't planned ahead well enough to have real food on hand. Between the protein and fiber, and low sugar content, one bar can do a pretty good job of keeping me from getting hungry again for quite a few hours. Most bars with 15-20g of protein also seem to contain a lot of sugar alcohols plus sucralose and acesulfame-K, making them both overly sweet to my taste and also potentially having a surprise laxative effect for some consumers. These avoid that in part by just being less sweet, which I really appreciate -if I'm replacing a meal, I really don't want a full-on candy flavor -and partly by using real sugar in the chocolate coating. One note about this product, the 10g of fiber come from chicory root, so if you've previously had issues with products that contain Jerusalem artichoke, chicory root, inulin from agave or kelp, etc. you may want to use caution with these.Read Best Reviews of NuGO Slim Raspberry Truffle, 1.59-Ounce (Pack of 12) Here
