These are fantastic! My children have a combination of nut, milk and egg allergies, so this is a great protein alternative (to milk) for breakfast, or anytime.

I have bought quite a few of these and other of Enjoy Life's bars in the past. I'm planning on curtailing my consumption of them since: 1) I received an empty, but sealed, box 2) There are quality and consistency problems. (e.g. bars with debris or other food material on them; bars of varying sizes; inadequate or sloppy packaging) 3) varying quality of customer service (e.g. was supposed to receive a coupon for the empty box, but haven't etc.)

They are, however, a very convenient snack.

i was very disappointed by the very small size, but i was shocked by the brick-like texture of a bar that has chewy in the name on the box. it tastes good, but small size and very hard texture were not what i had in mind. i called amazon with my complaint and i received a full refund. thank you.

My daughter had extensive food allergies as an infant/toddler and we bought these bars consistently. She still has the nut and egg allergy so I like that I can trust the manufacturer and know the food is safe. Unfortnately the last few times we have purchased the bars (all varieties) they have been hard as a rock and my daughter won't eat them. I have tried them myself and thought I might break a tooth. I had them on subscribe and save; which I have now cancelled and have several boxes which no one in my family will eat. I agree with a previous post. I want to love these bars and I love everything the company stands for (and actually really like their cookies), but something has changed with these bars and they are just not even appetizing. I hope they address the issue and I will certainly try them again if they do something to enhance the taste and address the issue with the texture. A total bummer they were better in the past but something changed with the taste, along with their new packaging!!

These bars are tasty, with a pleasantly firm texture and a slightly more complex flavor than I've grown accustomed to in mass-produced cereal grain products. After a few bad experiences with bland, gummy gluten-free bars, I was pleased to discover that these were quite good. They took the edge of my hunger and gave me the nutrient boost I needed to reach the end of a long, hectic day.

But each bar is tiny, about the length of my thumb. I needed more than half a box to get that nutrient boost, which at these prices is no small cost. I already know that gluten free food is pricier than unhealthy wheat alternatives, but if one snack costs as much as a fast food dinner, that really pinches my budget. So it's a tough trade-off between health and economy.
