it seems significantly fresher that the old cardboard tube stuff from the grocery with a better aroma, so I like it....
for bodybuilders and health nuts, you can put 1/2 to bland 1 cup uncooked mixed in with a few tablespoons of cool whip (doesn't take much) and get a very healthy way to get oatmeal down without having to eat mushy gruel everyday.... the cool whip penetrates the oats a little and softens them ... dash it with cinnamon and / or put some preserves on the side for some more flavor....
