I didn't buy this product from Amazon but I have been checking for a smaller dosage form of the product. I had been taking melatonin prior to purchasing and using this product. I had taken B-12 in the form of Dibencozide from Country Life which contains silica. I later discovered silica might be detrimental to the brain, as in exploding neurons because it is hygroscopic, as in absorbing water. I learned this only after having used coffee creamer which contains it and other products like the dibencozide. Of course I was slightly dehydrated for quite some time until I learned how to get it out of my brain and body along with aluminum which causes problems in the brain as well.Needless to say I wanted to use this product as I had also read information about the cyanocobalamin not being as effective and maybe even a problem. The first time I tried it I put a whole strip under my tongue. The melatonin had sedated my frontal lobes pretty well. Upon taking the methylcobalamin my frontal lobes perked up immediately. I had also read this was a possible effect. I then decided to take it internally and simply swallowed the strip with water as I was concerned about causing dementia by exhausting my frontal lobes. I too was trying to improve my energy levels and have recently discovered some of my problem was due to not getting enough foods which contain phosphorus which forms Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) in the body, the fuel which keeps us going and that this might have been the real problem as I had been taking a supplement with B-12 in it, well over 100% of the RDA but again it was the cyano kind.
I took the it for 30 days and feel it helped me significantly with my energy levels and was sleeping better at night. I think a sublingual of this product should be used with caution and in a much smaller amount.

I bought two boxes of these B-12 strips. When I opened the boxes and got to the little strip containers, I found expiration dates that were the same month as when I purchased them, Feb. 2010. I think that selling expired drugs or nutritional products or vitamins or whatever you want to call them is clearly wrong.
