I cannot begin to state how excited I am to find this available from Amazon.com. Carnation Chocolate Malted Milk has been a favorite of my Mother Velia all my life, and therefore it was expected on the breakfast table. I'm 35 now with my own family and I have an incredibly hard time finding the chocolate version in particular. To be able to order this "comfort food" and have it shipped means a great deal. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys chocolate milk!!

My mother and I are huge fans of this product... there is nothing else out there that even comes close to it. But it has gotten more and more difficult to find at my local grocery store. And like another reviewer, I panicked when for the past week I found out that it is no longer in stock at the one place that I purchased it (I have gone to 4 different stores).

Bob's Red Mill Organic Oat Bran Hot Cereal, 18-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4)

I use oat bran both as a hot cereal and in baking. Bob's Red Mill Organic Oat Bran Cereal is delicious as a hot cereal (especially when cooked in milk rather than water) and ordering it online from Amazon is cheaper than buying Quaker Oat Bran in my local supermarket (if I buy it with enough other stuff in my order to qualify for Super Saver Shipping). However, if you are using it for baking you should be aware that it is not as finely ground as Quaker's. Sometimes this has an effect on the texture of your baked goods and sometimes it doesn't. It depends on the recipe. I definitely prefer it to Quaker's as a hot cereal because it has more texture.

I like oat bran because of its high soluble fiber content and low glycemic index.

When I bought it, I thought you have to cook it but instead its delicious even with no cooking. I eat mine raw, with kefir, so you could use it for instance in yogurt, straight from the bag. This means less processing, so you wont increase its glycemic index by breaking down carbs through high temperatures, and you will preserve all of its nutrients.

The price is good, with the subscribe and save it is cheaper than I could find in any local store.

I bought the four-pack of this cereal from Amazon, and absolutely love it! Being a single guy, it is really simple and fast to make (just pop a large bowl in the microwave!) and very hearty. As with any plain-old grain cereal, the base is pretty bland (though, it can be eaten that way ... it's not as flavorless as some!), but is easy to work with ... add a small touch of blueberry syrup and a few fresh blueberries, or a touch of brown sugar and some maple syrup, and it's truly delightful! I will definitely buy another box when this one runs out.

I ordered this on accident. For some reason I thought I was getting Steel Cut Oats that I buy all the time. I was disappointed when I saw my mistake. AND THEN! I tried it. I absolutely, positively love this cereal! It has changed my morning routine. I put the required amount into the microwave with water-in less than 2 minutes it is done. I mix it with Almond milk(I love cow's milk, but it doesn't love me :( ) I sweeten the mix with a dusting of stevia sweetener. You don't need very much stevia as it is very sweet. This makes a thick satisfying "shake". Easy to drink and take as you drive to work. I have also added various add-ins and it just gets better and better. I have added cherry juice concentrate/raisins/cranberries/almonds/flax seed...the list goes on and on. But no matter what I add or don't add I love the texture and the taste. It is the best mistake I ever made. Thank you to the universe for this serendipitous mistake. Oh yes, it reminds me of when I was young and my mother made us Cream of Wheat "shakes" for breakfast. I can't have wheat anymore either...so this makes me so happy to find this product!!! YAY!

Erin Baker's Homestyle Granola, Fruit & Nut, 12-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)

The texture is fine but this has a very odd background flavor to it. I've tried to place it and think it might be from the coconut but I'm just not sure. Though I enjoyed this brand's Oatmeal Raisin granola, I would never buy this flavor again.

this granola has great taste. Chewy with lots of good things for you. Great out of the bag or in milk. Could use a little more nuts and fruit but doesn't change that it is really good.

Let me put it to you this way. No other granola has me on the internet searching for it so I can buy it in bulk to save money. Seriously. It's crazy how much I love this stuff. I complained to the owner of the store where I buy it that this particular flavor always sells out first. He now keeps 2 extra cases on hand just for me.

This granola is unique. Maybe that's why some people don't like it. It's like none I've ever tasted. Once I made a bowl of it and had to stick it in the fridge to go and answer the door. I of course forgot about it till the next day. I saw it and it had turned into a oatmeal of sorts. I decided to taste it and damn if it wasn't good in a different way.

This is premium granola. It's not for beginners.

The granola was too crumbly. I assumed that granola should be more stuck together (more chunky). Instead of eating on its own, I had to use the crumbs for cereal. Taste was average. I was rather disappointed. I would not buy this product again.

I have been eating Nature's Path Original oatmeal for two years. It's become one of my standard breakfast foods. I especially love the fact that it does not have anything added, so I can add my own ingredients, like Vegan protein powder (to make "protmeal") or dried berries. Unfortunately, the last box I purchased is WAY TOO SALTY!! I don't like a lot of salt in the first place. It definitely does not mix well with the protein powder or dried berries. The packaging recently changed on this product and apparently so did the salt content, despite the fact the Ingredients stayed the same and the Nutrition Facts changed -the Sodium count actually went down! Either Nature's Path needs to reduce the amount of salt or I will have to find another plain oatmeal to eat.

Excellent oatmeal. Great as a base for adding honey, dried fruits, and nuts. My favorite oatmeal ever. Very satisfying. Boil water in kettle, add half a cup or more of the boiling water, stir, and let sit for four or five minutes. Delicious! It keeps you full all morning long. I like that it is organic, steel cut oats and bran, and it has no additives, colorings, or preservatives.

This oatmeal is too salty and my husband cannot eat it. I have even tried to mix it with other oatmeal and he still cannot eat it. I am very disappointed in this product since I have ordered it numerous times and the last two times I have ordered it, it has been too salty. My husband used to enjoy this oatmeal but not now. He has oatmeal every day and this will not be his brand of choice any more!

I'm not a big fan of instant oatmeal but this oatmeal is the exception. It has a good taste. I also like the fact that it is not sweetened like most instant oatmeal.

There must be something wrong with these. The nutrition facts say there is only 120 mg of sodium, but I just threw out what I had left, couldn't eat it anymore. I can't really describe how salty this is, but it is really like someone dumped a entire shaker in each bowl. Real Bad. Whole Foods 365 brand is the way to go. Same price, no salty taste.

Umpqua Oats Not Guilty Oatmeal, All Natural, 1.8-Ounce (Pack of 6)

This oatmeal is the best instant that I've tasted. My only criticism is that it needs more fruit. However, it never occurred to me to add chia seeds--great call Umpqua! The sugar content versus fiber makes this a tasty, healthy breakfast! I would definitely recommend this oatmeal to my friends.
