These crackers/pita crisps are really good. They taste a little spicy, and almost a little cheesy, but in a really good, non-artificial way. And there is no trans fat and a healthy dose of whole grains in these. We like them with hummus or cream cheese, or just plain. Well, most of my kids don't really like them (they think they're too spicy), but that leaves more for my husband, my 9 month old baby (!), and me!
Note that Amazon's price (currently about $3/box) is decent, but you can get a better price on individual boxes with sales and coupons at most grocery stores (closer to $1.75-$2/box). It depends on what you want more: money or lots of crackers with home delivery. ;)

The first time I tried a Kashi cereal, it tasted like twigs and sticks but they have definitely come a long way and are now one of my favorite brands. I was sent a box of these in the mail (I assume because I have signed up for their coupons) so I was more than happy to give these a try. These are definitely a winner, they are crunchy and satisfying but not too salty. They avoid the problem some whole grain snacks have of being heavy and too chewy. I fed them to my four year old and my husband and everyone agreeddefinitely something we will be purchasing in the future.

I bought these in the grocery store because I was looking for a good snack to eat with the roasted red pepper hummus I had just bought. They were on sale, so I thought I'd give them a try. So glad I did! I absolutely love these chips. They're nice and hearty, which means that in addition to them being filling, they don't break up as much in the box. I'm losing weight and counting calories, so it makes it much easier when I can tell exactly how much a portion size is. The serving size of 11 crisps goes perfectly with 2 tbsp of hummus.

Whoever thought of sending free boxes of this to customers deserves a raise from Kashi and a "thank you!" from me. These pita crisps are wonderful. They are sturdy and crunchy, but not so much that they are a chore to chew. They are labelled as Sea Salt flavor, which sounds a little dull, but they are actually bursting with flavor. They are fairly low in calories; each serving has 120 of them. A serving size is approximately 11 crisps and contains: 180mg of sodium, 22g carbs (5g fiber and 2g sugars), 3g of protein and 10 grams of whole grain! All in all, a pretty nutritious snack that definitely doesn't lack in flavor.

The pita chips we had been buying at our local supermarket where nice tasting but not whole grain. So I looked on Amazon for whole grain chips. I like Kashi, saw these, and decided to give them a chance.
I am very pleased. Wonderful taste, perfect texture and thickness. They are crisp and light. Great by themselves or with cheese or hummus. I think they have too much salt, especially for Kashi. It is just a little too heavy handed. But not enough to keep these from getting an overall 5.
Just take all the other chips in your house, donate them, have one last binge, whatever. After you get rid of them just get these. Your tastebuds will thank you, your doctor will thank you.
Good product and healthy but a little pricey for the bag. Will look around to see if I can get a similar product locally or on Amazon for a lower price.
