When I first tried this cereal I was reminded of maple and brown sugar oatmeal I had as a kid. It has a great maple flavor, the texture and consistency is very much like regular Life cereal. It doesn't have a real sugary taste, just the maple flavor stands out. The flavor added to milk is outstanding. You could easily eat the cereal dry as a snack. I have placed a second order.

Like another reviewer mentioned, this has a very oatmealy taste to it, so if you are comforted by warm maple brown sugar oatmeal then you'll really like this `cold cereal' form of the same product. Life is one of those cereals that I think we've all grown up on, and it is one of those cereals that remains everything you remember it being; delicious! Unlike Chex, Life cereal doesn't instantaneously turn to mush in your bowl, which is nice. The softer crunch of this cereal is delightful, and the flavor it emits in your milk is welcome, for sure. It's not overly sweetened, just naturally sweet and really takes on the flavors it claims to have on the box. For that it deserves extra stars, since all too often cereals deceive us with promises of flavors it cannot deliver. Life is exactly what you expect, which is a treat indeed.

I love this stuff and can't find the maple & brown sugar in my local grocery store. The only trouble is getting it shipped by mail, I think the pieces get more broken up than if you buy it in a store. But that's okay because the flavor makes up for it.

THEY SEEMED 2 HAVE FOUND THE WAY. NOT TOO SWEET BUT PLENTY OF FLAVOR. These are the very best gluten free Pancakes I have found in 4 years. Whole Foods used to carry them, but stopped. So I hunted them down and bought a case, thank god for Amazon. I took them to a workshop I taught in Hawaii recently and they were a huge hit with my clients. They use a very good quality chocolate chip and they melt in your mouth. Ahhhhh I will have to make them again soon... maybe tomorrow morning. lol
