I am a huge Rice Krispies fan, yet try to stay away from non-organic and white rice when there's a reasonable alternative. I enjoy this every bit as much as the original RK cereal, and am grateful for this product. It's one of the most innocent "guilty pleasures" available in life... I've tried the gluten-free, and I guess what's missing for me in that version is the flavor imparted by the barley; to me, the gluten-free tastes too bland in comparison with the original version.

To me it tastes just like brand name crispy rice cereal or rice flakes cereal, but less sweet. A little more expensive, but very worthwhile if you're going for wholesome and delicious.

Good ingredients and lack of added garbage. this is a very light cerebral. it is like a healthy Rice Krispies. unfortunately they are so light they don't keep you satisfied.

The subtle taste just simply doesn't stand up to my palate. I love brown rice, and many unadulterated cereals, but this one just didn't do it for me by its lonesome. When it needs an accompaniment, you might as well buy something cheaper.

Village Mixes, Nancy's Good Morning Pancakes, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, 20-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4)

I was excited to find pumpkin pancake mix online, and promptly ordered this four pack from Village Mixes. For pancakes, they're fine, not too different than your standard Bisquik pancakes. The chocolate chips are present in the perfect quantity, not too few, not too many, and they taste good. However, the mix is really lacking in the pumpkin flavor its advertised as. In fact, if the box didn't have a sticker on it that said pumpkin, I would have figured it was just plain. Also, there is no nutritional information for the pumpkin blend on the box (just for other types, like plain, blueberry, etc.). In all honesty, I will stick with Trader Joe's pumpkin pancake mix from now on. Its cheaper, and actually has pumpkin flavor. If you're looking for just regular pancakes (not pumpkin flavor), go ahead and order this.

I sent this in a "care package" to my daughters overseas. They LOVED it! Nice being able to send a little bit of home to loved ones far away.

I was introduced to the village mixes brand a few years ago. A friend brought some brownies to a party and everyone went crazy over them. The Pancakes and Apple Crisp mixes are great too.

This product has greatly improved my energy level in addition to my performance as a runner. I am typically anemic and this product also brought my hemoglobin level up. I found this drink more effective than taking iron supplements or any multivitamin. I mix a scoop in my morning coffee daily and I actually enjoy the taste. As an athletic, working mother of 3, this product has really made a difference in my life.

This is by far the best tasting jar of greens I have had. I mix it in with my protein powder once daily. Now, it STILL tastes like powdered greens if you have not acquired a "taste" for green powder, it will taste peculiar to you. NOTHING like some of them! You don't have to "hold you nose and swallow"!!

Mixes easily into liquid, but I do use blender my protein drink then thickens.

Preventative care! I take the product knowing I will not see amazing results to anything...but its peace of mind that counts. Getting Veggies and Greens all at once is a good thing (and only at 30 calories per serving). I've switched my diet to only eat clean and cut out many fruits...but this is a good compromise. It doesn't have an amazing flavor but once you mix it with Chia seeds or a vitamin c packet, its goes down easy.

Most green food can be equated to inhaling swamp crud. This green food smells good and actually has a pleasant fruitlike taste. I have even convinced my "I hate anything green" family members to try it. They were impressed. It's good stuff.
