This texture of Optimum Zen is excellent, as are all of the Nature's Path Oatmeals. However, when I tasted this one for the first time, I was in for an unexpected surprise: Ginger. One of the many flavors in Optimum Zen is ginger and it is a little bit dominating. It pairs very well with Chai. However, I suspect that if you didn't like ginger, this oatmeal would not go over very well. So if you like ginger, are in for a unique oatmeal experience, buy it. If you're not sure, if I were you I would go to the local grocery store (only the organic-style stores around me carry Nature's Path) and purchase one box. You'll spend a little extra, but it'll be worth it with this flavor to make sure you like it before you buy 6 boxes.Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, this oatmeal is a great option. It's delicious and so easy to make and filling enough to carry you until lunchtime without needing to visit the vending machine. I love the ginger and don't find the taste polarizing in the least. I bought this bulk package and it lasted me a whole year and never became stale. My family loves this oatmeal. It's not too sweet and you can actually see the oats. This is the best oatmeal I have ever had. There is nothing that could be done to it to make it any better. I never knew that healthy and great taste could come in the same package!I have been on a real oatmeal kick lately, picking up whatever flavors pop up at my local closeout store. I picked this one because it sounded interesting. I like ginger snaps so I was kind of expecting that flavor, so I was a little disappointed in that aspect. I really like that Nature's Path is a family-run, organic business, so I will continue to try their products. Each 40g packet is 150 calories, with 160mg of sodium, 3g of fiber, 11g of sugar, and 4g of protein. It has 21g of whole grain and does contain soynuts.

This is the way to go if you like to purchase food that is not perishable. The berries are fresher since they haven't been sitting on a shelf for weeks. Very reasonable. No shipping charges if order over a reasonable amount.Want Navitas Naturals Goldenberries, 4-Ounce Pouches Discount?
These are okay, but not real tasty. I would not order more. They are really bitter and not something I enjoyEmerald Breakfast on the Go! Granola Mix Fun Pack, Berries and Creme, 7.5 Ounce

Perfect for traveling for business when meal timing is off.
Great for the plane ride too.
Contains just the right mixture of granola clusters, cranberries, vanilla yogurt covered raisins and almonds(incredible).

Worth the try. Haven't tried other flavors yet.

Buy RiseBar Protein, 12-Count Bars Now
I tried these bars about a year ago. I really love them and they keep me full. On reading the reviews about blood sugars spikes for the Quest Bars, I tested my blood sugars. With me being diabetic, I thought I would also test this with the Rise Bars. My blood sugars this morning were 106 and after eating the Honey bar, my sugars jumped to 160. So it did jump my sugars up by 54. The Honey Rise Bar has 13g of sugar vs. 2g with the Quest Bar (101 to 169). So it seems to be about closer in sugar increases. I am going to test this against my hemp protein shakes to see if it is about the same. If so, then I am not as concerned with the jumps per it would be a normal reaction to eating food. This is one of the most nutritious bars out there. Of course for anyone with health issues, I don't recommend bars at all, since they, by design, have too much sweetener in them. American society can't seem to purchase anything that isn't sweetened, or is it that American food industry won't make anything that isn't sweetened. The challenge even with the rise bar is that it is sweetened with Agave (and a bit too much). Depending on the source of agave (specifically how much the provider has processed it), agave "nector" could have been turned into High Fructose syrup. And, the rise bar doesn't need that much sweetener. I think they are trying to make it taste like a sni***** candy bar (to sweet). The rice already provides soe sweetness and perhaps some stevia or luo han guo extract would do well to give a nice taste. And, since such a minimal amount would be required, it might even make the manufacturing cheaper once they modified the lines. Who knows. I just wish that companies like this would lead nutrition trends a bit more aggressively. All the ingredients are nutritious, except the Agave (likely), by themselves, so start buying into the sweet-tooth brain-washing! The audience buying these bars are health-nuts we don't want things to be crazy sweet. With a little modification, I'd buy it again. It was one of the only Carob bars on the market that I could find. These bars are fabulous. The taste is great as a snack or protein supplement. My husband loves them as a pre or post work out bar. The improvement is tremendous from the day of the Boomi Bar. Thank you for that...GlutenFreeda Foods, Instant Oatmeal Strawberry & Brown Sugar, 6ct., 10.1oz

You know why many big name cereals (or any product for that matter) costs less?
1. lower quality ingredients
2. they add nutritionally USELESS things like trans fat (if you see the word 'hydrogenated' in the ingredients, there are trans fats present. Yes, even if the label says 0g trans fat because that actually means
