EnviroKidz Organic Chocolate Koala Crisp Cereal, 11.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

EnviroKidz Organic Chocolate Koala Crisp Cereal, 11.5-Ounce BoxesThe title pretty much says it all. I reserve 5 stars for what I consider the best of the best. I wanted a gluten-free cereal that was different from the few I've been eating over the years. This is definitely NOT like the usual "crispy rice." It's much more substantial (not "90% air"), has a nice, though not too strong, cocoa flavor, and doesn't get soggy in the first two minutes after milk (or other drink product) is poured on it.

Another rater talked about empty calories. I'll be generous and assume that reviewer is not particularly familiar with reading (and comparing) nutrition labels. If a high quality rice is also considered "empty calories," that review would be valid. But comparing the Koala Crisp nutrition label to the nutrition label on a high quality rice reveals almost identical nutritional values perhaps because Koala Crisp IS a high quality rice. Just as rice has never been claimed to be a fully balanced meal, neither is Koala Crisp. What it is, is a high quality product made with high quality ingredients (none of the artificial vitamins and minerals added to "grocery store" cereals to make them look better). And it's designed to be used as part of a balanced diet.

With that out of the way, It's just plain good. I buy it by the case, and eat it several times per week for breakfast, I like it that much. And no, I have no connection with the company at all I just love their products (many of them not just this one). Now, if they'd just add this one to their line of Eco-pak cereals (large, bulk bags), I'd be even happier.

We absolutely love this cereal ... eat it quite frequently ;-) We have also found out the little ones absolutely go crazy for it. Best of all, no mil or wheat for those of us with such allergies.

With the handful of cereals that are available for celiac children, we found this cereal exceptional. It is very tasty and has a good texture.

My kids love this cereal. It is hard to find gluten free breakfast options. We do eat fruit and yogurt, but sometimes you just need carbs and sugar to seem normal again. For the 3 celiacs in our family, feeling normal is a big thing.

I love the ceral. I don't need it for a special diet I just like that it isn't loaded with high fructose corn syrup and there is some fiber in it. I have been buying it at kroger for months and paying 2X the price per box.

Natural Oat Crackers

Natural Oat CrackersWas in my local Asian store and spotted these sugar free crackers...tasted them and now i'm hooked...so light and guilt free kinda put you in the mind of Lorna Doone Shortbread cookies.

I was not happy about the price of this single package item!!! What a rip-off!!! If you can, buy it from the store...I was charged over $12 for a package that costs only $1.99-$2.50 in stores...the problem is finding a store that carries this item

Earthworm Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner-22 oz

Earthworm Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner-22 ozI have been looking for a product like this for a long time. My dining room chairs have cotton moire upholstered seats and in the course of time they have been stained. I've tried a variety of cleaners, most of them strong smelling and toxic. Almost always they end up leaving rings around the treated areas, no matter how carefully I apply the cleaner. Earthworm Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner sprays on easily and is absorbed quickly. I sprayed the surface of each chair seat evenly, left it alone for about 5 minutes, and then wiped it well with a clean white terrycloth rag. Where a stain still showed at all, I sprayed a bit more of the cleaner on the spot, let it sit and wiped it well again. After about 15 minutes under a ceiling fan, the seat cushions were totally dry and the stains were gone. What a great product!

Walden Farms Calorie Free Fruit Spread Grape -- 12 oz

Walden Farms Calorie Free Fruit Spread Grape -- 12 ozPros: No carbs, sugar, calories, fat etc.

Cons: Has the consistency of cranberry sauce.

Tastes bitter.

Similar to grape juice, but more bitter.

Tried adding sweetener (equal) to it, and no luck. =( Oh well.

I bought this product for a diabetic friend. She loves grape jelly but could not find any that was sugar free. She was thrilled that we found it. Wonderful. Simply wonderful...

This tasted nothing like Grape Jelly, it had that fake powdered drink mix grape taste and had the consistency of gelatin. Very disappointing, the whole jar went right into the garbage after the first taste which also left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth.

I really liked their Ranch Dressing, but this was a total fail. I give them lots of credit for trying to make a calorie free spread, but it just didn't work.

Ok, I was pleasantly surprised by the grape. It was the first Walden Farms product that I tasted and am happy to say, I will enjoy this product. Now let me state right now, I dont normally like diet flavors and this one is not perfect but you put this on a pb&j sandwich and you will be happy. Is it exactly like regular grape jelly, no! The consistency is more gelled then regular jelly and the grape flavor is a diety grape flavor. It doesn't spread very well, but I never had much luck with regular grape jelly spreading all that great either. For a person that wants to remove the carbs and the calories, I think this is a fine product indeed. I am taking one star off for how hard it is to spread but overall I think its worth it for those that need to curb the sweet tooth without putting all those sugars into your system. I have also bought a few other walden farms no calorie stuff since trying this grape jelly and have been happy with them as well. For a diabetic, I think these Walden Farms products are well worth it.

Bob's Red Mill 8 Grain Wheatless Cereal, 54 oz

Bob's Red Mill 8 Grain Wheatless Cereal, 54 ozWe're a family of cooked cereal eaters. I keep Muesli and Granola on hand for those mornings I either didn't have time to prepare cooked cereal or the kids want to serve breakfast for mom and dad. We all loved this 8-grain cereal. We were impressed with its taste. If you think all cooked cereals taste the same, this one may surprise you.

Life Cereal, Maple and Brown Sugar, 13-Ounce (Pack of 4)

Life Cereal, Maple and Brown Sugar, 13-OunceWhen I first tried this cereal I was reminded of maple and brown sugar oatmeal I had as a kid. It has a great maple flavor, the texture and consistency is very much like regular Life cereal. It doesn't have a real sugary taste, just the maple flavor stands out. The flavor added to milk is outstanding. You could easily eat the cereal dry as a snack. I have placed a second order.

its like a bowl of pancakes and syrup. Order a box of 4 cause they go quick. They are very rare and hard to find, I feel very hipster when pouring my bowl

Like another reviewer mentioned, this has a very oatmealy taste to it, so if you are comforted by warm maple brown sugar oatmeal then you'll really like this `cold cereal' form of the same product. Life is one of those cereals that I think we've all grown up on, and it is one of those cereals that remains everything you remember it being; delicious! Unlike Chex, Life cereal doesn't instantaneously turn to mush in your bowl, which is nice. The softer crunch of this cereal is delightful, and the flavor it emits in your milk is welcome, for sure. It's not overly sweetened, just naturally sweet and really takes on the flavors it claims to have on the box. For that it deserves extra stars, since all too often cereals deceive us with promises of flavors it cannot deliver. Life is exactly what you expect, which is a treat indeed.

I love this stuff and can't find the maple & brown sugar in my local grocery store. The only trouble is getting it shipped by mail, I think the pieces get more broken up than if you buy it in a store. But that's okay because the flavor makes up for it.

IF U REALLY LOVE THE FLAVOR OF MAPLE + BROWN SUGAR TOGETHER LIKE I DO BUT AGREE ITS NOT EASY FINDING CEREALS OR SNACKS THAT TASTE GOOD WITHOUT THAT ARTIFICIAL AFTERTASTE THEN TRY LIFE. THEY SEEMED 2 HAVE FOUND THE WAY. NOT TOO SWEET BUT PLENTY OF FLAVOR. HOLDS UP IN MILK AND ALONE AS A DRY SNACK. ...2nd ONLY 2 MAPLE & BROWN SUGAR MINI WHEATS CEREAL IN FLAVOR BUT U CANT REALLY SNACK ON THOSE. I WILL BUY AGAIN.

McCann's Artisan Collection Instant Oatmeal, Black Currant, Almond & Cream, 8-Count Packets

McCann's Artisan Collection Instant Oatmeal, Black Currant, Almond & Cream, 8-Count PacketsFirst of all, McCann's instant oatmeal is so much better than the big name brands. Second, the flavored varieties are not sugary-sweet as one has come to expect from instant flavored oatmeal, but are complex in flavor. In this variety, tart currants, crunchy almond slivers and just the right amount of sweetness provide a breakfast for an adult with a demanding palate. If you like the tart-sweet flavor profile, this is a thumbs up!

I really wanted to like this one, since I love McCann's instant Irish oatmeal. This didn't smell good or taste good. Perhaps I just don't like currants. But no one in my office liked it either.

Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews. The currant flavor is great. Yes currents are a very tart berry, and I'm glad McCann's didn't ruin this by loading it up with sugar. The negative reviewers here, must have a sugar addiction. I've tried about every instant oatmeal on the market. Since I discovered the McCann's Artisan Collection, it is the only instant oatmeal I will eat. The conservative use of sweeteners, allow all the flavors to come through. You can taste currents. You can taste almonds. You can taste oatmeal. The flavors are not buried in a sea of sugary goo like most other instant oatmeals.

I usually add about 1 teaspoon of Ghee (a clarified butter that is actually good for you)to the cooked oatmeal to add a bit more fat,and it improves the already great flavor. The addition of more fat will better satisfy your appetite, and a teaspoon adds only 33 calories.

Try it.... you'll like it!

Both several flavors of the Irish Oatmeal and liked it the best. The others, not really. Never saw this at a supermarket and I wanted to try it. Even reordered more of this flavor.

I wanted to like the Artisan creations especially an interesting flavor grouping like Black Currants & Almonds. I like to try different flavor profiles & often find myself the lone member of the house who likes something. This flavor proved to be too tart.

The experience started out cool when the hot water hits the mix, a dark purple color swirls into the oats as the currants plump up & a soft, slightly tangy aroma wafts up. After the presribed waiting time, I found the oats retained some texture not the mush of Quaker Instant packages but not the round, full oats of Umpqua in between the two. The oatmeal didn't turn out purple but had swirls of the color. Most but not all of the currants plumped up a bit disconcerting when you bite down on a leathery one. The almonds were slices & not too many. They had no flavor, were soft what's the point? There wasn't enough of a cream flavor to warrant the name unlike Quaker's Fruit & Cream flavors. No other spices I could taste no cinnamon or nutmeg. The currants weren't the sweet, plummy mini-raisins I often add to breads or cookies when baking. Instead they're the 'red currant jelly' kinds of currants with a sharp bite like unsweetened cranberries.

I think I'm too used to sweeter things in the morning or tart things offset with sweet components. I didn't try adding sugar & cream that might have made the difference.
