Udi's Gluten Free White Sandwich Bread 4 pack

Udi's Gluten Free White Sandwich Bread 4 packI first had Udi's white sandwich bread at a restaurant. I spit it out because it was so good that I was sure they must have screwed up and given me regular bread. But they hadn't, and thus began my love affair with Udi's bread.

My husband doesn't have celiac disease but he still loves this bread. The only reason he doesn't eat it all the time is because of the expense.

The ends/heels of this bread can be hard so I grind them up in my food processor and freeze them for later use in recipes that call for bread crumbs.

Highly recommended!

Having tried various breads on the market this is by far the best tasting bread of all.

Closest to the 'real' thing as it gets.

I questioned the description of this listing because it said 4 pack, which would be a very good deal. (After adding shipping, about $4.50 per loaf) So, because I have seen these poorly described listings before, I contacted the seller who responded with the information that it is for one loaf. So, if you order from them, you will be paying at least 3x what you will anywhere else. The bread is great, but not worth $18/loaf. Buy from one of the other sellers who give a valid description.

This bread tastes fantastic! In fact, it's so good, it may addictive! Unfortunately for me, it contains eggs, which I am allergic to.

Pizza Bar (12 Pack)

Pizza BarI really didn't know what to expect in a Pizza Bar. I don't remember tasting a savory bar, much less one that presumably tastes like pizza. And what a pleasant surprise it is! The bar is nothing like I've ever tasted before...it is very hearty, something you can really sink your teeth in, and the burst of basil, oregano, rosemary, and my gosh...those sundried tomatoes....makes it such a treat! I feel almost spoilt, I can now satisfy my pizza craving while slaving away at work. Give me a savory bar every day!

South Beach Diet Good To Go Cereal Bars, Cinnamon Raisin, 5-Count (Pack of 8)

South Beach Diet Good To Go Cereal Bars, Cinnamon Raisin, 5-CountI used to eat the Cinnamon Raisin bars daily until they were discontinued a year ago. The new bars taste just as wonderful, as well as being the same size, so just as gratifying in that sense. I eat 2 bars a day, one for breakfast, and one as an afternoon snack; very filling and keeps my appetite from going over the edge. I was a little confused as to how many I would receive on Subscribe and Save, I received 8 boxes, 5 bars per box. For Phases 2 and 3 of SBD.

Nutritional Facts: 130 calories, 4 grams fat, total carbs 18, fiber 3 grams, sugars 8 grams, protein 9 grams.

I loved the cereal bars formerly known as "South Beach Cinnamon Raisin Bars" from the supermarket. They tasted just like cinnamon raisin rolls! It was great to find them here, even if they were a bit more expensive and it was necessary to buy 8 boxes (40 bars) at a time.

But, don't get your hopes up, these bars are NOT the SAME as before. They're bland, hard to chew, with only a couple tiny raisins in each. The portions are also 10 calories smaller than before. What was South Beach thinking??? I doubt that I'll buy again.

The "NEW" version of this product is gross. The bars are dry, chalky, and have an artificial taste. I did, however, discover that the Snackwells Cinnamon Raisin bars are exactly the same as the old version of this bar. I will be buying those instead.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program These protein fit cereal bars have what another reviewer referred to as "chalky" quality to them; the first bite didn't really taste like anything! It was only on the second bite that I began to taste and enjoy the cinnamon raisin flavor. I do like that they have protein in them; this is good for the diet that I'm currently on. Then again, there's also not enough fiber in these bars to satisfy me.

I recommend you shop around for another brand of protein bar that just plain tastes better. These bars are nothing special and I won't be buying them in the future.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I decided to try these South Beach "Diet" Protein bars.

These cinnamon and raisin bars are advertised as "Protein Fit" and they make only secondary claims (in print size) for fiber content. Of course, people have different motivations, and mine is increasing my daily intake of fiber more than protein:

Here's whats displayed on the South Beach box in fairly large font:

9g Protein 3g Fiber

Here's how they stack up according to the labels compared to Fibre One Oats & Peanut Butter bars fiber bars, in terms of grams and percent of daily recommended amounts in percentages (I cannot account for differences in percentages as shown on the boxes, nor have I attempted to include every ingredient and measurement found on the box labels). Amazon's formatting restraints do not allow for columns, so here they are with the South Beach first, and the Fiber One, second--after the dashes:

South Beach Cinn & Raisin - Fiber One Oats & Peanut

Calories 130 (30 from fat) - 150 (40 from fat)

Total Fat 3g (8%) - 4.5g (7%)

Saturated Fat 2g (10%) - 2g (11%)

Cholesterol "less than 5g" (1%) - 0

Sodium 160mg (7%) - 110mg (5%)

Protein 9g (17%) - 3g (% not shown)

Fiber 3g (12%) - 9g (35%)

As you can see, the South Beach bars have three times as much protein, and one-third as much fiber.

Speaking personally, I can't imagine I need more protein every day. But I know I need more fiber.

Taste: These are way too sweet for me personally, but that's obviously subjective (The South Beach bars actually have less sugar than the Fiber One: 8g sugars in South Beach vs 9g in Fiber One).

I hope these facts are of value to some buyers looking for this kind of comparison.

Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Extra Thick Rolled Oats -- 32 oz

Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Extra Thick Rolled Oats -- 32 ozIf you like a hearty meal...anytime...this version of Bob's rolled oats is the best: full of flavor with a satisfying crunchy texture. And, it really does not take that long to cook. One cup of oats with your favorite fruit, some flax and/or chia seeds lasts me for up to 6 hours despite my high level of daily activity. I do not have a big issue with needing gluten free but it seems to reduce bloating and gas compared to the regular oats.
