Mornflake Jumbo Porridge Oats, 26-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) Where in West Los Angeles can I purchase this superior,creamy and most flavorful breakfast cereal? I find Mornflake Oats by far surpass all its competitors and I have tried every one of them I can find. These oats are full of life force unlike other oats which turn grey upon cooking. Mornflake oats become slightly golden are ultra creamy and tasty.

Please pack this treasure in sturdier boxes and cartons they tend to arrive slightly crushed and sometimes open. I have noticed this when buying Mornflake oats through amazon.com and at Whole Foods market. Lamentably, Whole Foods no longer carries this product in L.A., nor does anyone else whom I can find. They are really "missing the boat" by failing to stock this item. Even amazon.com had only one case left the last time I ordered! HELP!!!

I never knew how good oatmeal was until I tried Mornflake. I have it for breakfast every day. It took a little try and error to get it just like I like it. I put the water and oats in the pan and let it set for about 10 min before cooking then put the lid on and let it set for another 5 min. I then add a little cane syrup and milk. I hope a lot of people buy this so Amazon will keep carrying it.

I got tired of looking for Mornflakes at the store, (only found them once & was hooked). I couldn't believe I was actually buying a case of oatmeal, but I did! Made lots of Christmas oatmeal cookies for friends. I cook up enough for 3 days at a time & leave it in bowls in the refrig then add milk & fruit, microwave it & enjoy. It is consistently good & I love the large oats that are never tough or mushy. Am very grateful I found them & now have enough to last a LONG TIME!

There are good steel-cut oats from small Irish mills, but that's another category of the grain. These oats make great breakfast cereal, but they also are great ingredients for super meatloaf and fabulous oatmeal raisin cookies. Highly recommended!

OvaEasy Hearty Wholesome Powdered Eggs (1) #10 Can

I used up one envelope experimenting in the kitchen and most of another one on a five day kayak camping trip on the Wisconsin River.

The only thing I can't do with it is eggs over easy. It scrambles up just fine. The taste and texture is pretty much perfect. I used it to bake a cake and meatloaf. Both came out fine.

If I rolled the envelope up tight and wrapped it with a rubber band, it stayed good for over a week. By then it started to taste old. It was still edible but didn't taste fresh.

The only complaint I have is that when they say a dozen eggs to a packet, they must mean a dozen really really small eggs. By my estimate, their measurements for three eggs is (maybe) barely two normal eggs. They lose one star for that.

Otherwise it's exactly what it claims to be. Good tasting eggs without refrigeration. Out there on an island in the middle of the river with a big plate of scrambled eggs for breakfast, every day. I had to use spam singles for the meat but it was still a good hearty breakfast easy and quick. I used the last of the envelope for lunch on the last day.

I can't always get to the market, so these are a perfectly acceptable substitute. I like having them around, and being able to give to family.

Kashi GOLEAN Crunch! Cereal

I've had Kashi cereals in the past and this was certainly the crunchiest of them all. Kashi managed to perfectly sweeten this cereal just the way I like and I found this cereal to be extremely filling. When I eat other brands as a meal I normally feel like I need to eat two bowls, but with Kashi GOLEAN Crunch! I was very satisfied with less than a bowlful. I find this cereal is best when I let it sit in the bowl of milk for about 5 minutes before eating it to soften the crunchiness a bit. The grains were full size and easily identifiable in each cluster. Since the nutrition info is not posted as of today, I will go ahead and post it here for those who are interested:

I had to start eating more healthy and after years of eating poorly, it's just not easy to change. I had to learn to add more protein and fiber into my diet but watch the calories and fat. So bacon and sausage for protein at breakfast was totally off the table. Finding a GOOD tasting cereal that gave a significant amount of protein wasn't easy. Then add to that one with good fiber content too! And lets not forget the most important fact....I had to like it! Eating healthy is NOT easy! You need to do your research! I finally found Kashi Go Lean, Honey Almond after 6 months. At the store near me, they don't keep it in the cereal section so I just happened to see it off in the corner one day and gave it a look. I thought I was going to HATE it so it sat in the cabinet for a couple of weeks.....but was I surprised when I finally had some! It has the right amount of sweet and a one cup portion is so filling! I'm fulfilling my protein and fiber requirements and it doesn't even have to hurt! It also makes an awesome snack too....and its good for me!

I'm currently trying to get my grandchildren to eat more healthy too before its too late. (2 yr old and 4 yr old boys) This cereal is awesome mixed with some oatmeal and they love it. They also love snacking on it. I also see a big difference after taking them off those sugar charged breakfast cereals they used to eat.

If you've already tried this cereal and love it, excellent, go right ahead and buy the four boxes. I had no problem with the quality and freshness, but I don't think we'll be able to keep eating it.

My two kids and I started eating it a few weeks ago as a means to get more protein into our mostly-vegetarian diets. Two of us started getting horrible bloating and gas. Finally after cutting off a date early because of horrible intestinal pain that couldn't be relieved no matter how many trips I made to the restroom, it dawned on me that it might be the cereal. A Google search confirms my son and I aren't the only ones who react to it this way.

We already eat a fairly high-fiber diet, so I'm guessing one of their ingredients (likely the fiber from chicory root) just isn't settling with us well. And yet my little girl isn't bothered by it at all. I just don't know that she could get through all four boxes before they go bad.

I would give the cereal three stars, because it tastes fresh and yummy. It is very crunchy. It's a bit like that one corn snack that will break your teeth, so we've just let it soak in the milk for a few minutes while we finish getting ready for the day.

But my son and I really are hurting here. I hope to get this review in front of people who need the warning it really should carry. Thus I give it one star. Try one box first, and if it doesn't bother you, go for all four.

I have mostly been a granola breakfast person, but the calories on granola more than I want every morning, but this cereal has fewer calories, a lot more fiber, and in addition it has a large dose of Omega-3 as a bonus (Omega-3 is one of the suplements I always take because of the long list of benefits.

In addition it tastes great! When I was a kid I used to like Kelloggs Sugar Smacks, which I'm sure would taste sickeningly sweet to me nowadays, but the Kashi Honey Almond tastes just like I remember the Sugar Smacks tasting from way back when, but a scant cup of the Kashi is very filling as opposed to the couple of bowls of sugar smacks I remember eating as a kid :-).

Lucini Italia Cherry Balsamic & Rosemary Vinaigrette

Buy more than one, you will love it. Just the right amount of cherry flavor and rosemary. The balsamic is also mild and not vinegary.

Makes a great marinade for tuna also.

Absolutely incredible! This balsamic is light and airy with delectable flavors that all shine through wonderfully. The cherry aromas add a depth to the vinaigrette that is wonderful and not sugary sweet while the rosemary rounds out the entire palette. I love love love this dressing.

Steaz, Organic Sparkling Green Tea Raspberry, 6/4/12 Oz

I love these Steaz raspberry sparkling green teas in the bottle, too.. however I found out Steaz is discontinuing them.. my store ran out of them and I was forever asking them why they are out of them, no explanations from them... so I contacted Steaz and they told me they are being discontinued, even the cans.. I stocked up wherever I could find online, but beware, I have had two shippers send me the WRONG thing!! Zero calories, which I hate, and some things in cans , which I hate too..its a shame when you really love something they discontinue it...this product was very good, dont understand why they are not gonna make it anymore? If I had known earlier , I wouldve stocked up more...

I love, love, love this flavor of the sparkling green tea by Steaz! I live in Boulder, CO. and the Whole Foods store in my town used to carry ALL the sparkling green tea flavors by Steaz and suddenly they do not. I am stunned and very disappointed. I need to find another source for my desire. I feel healthy and happy when I drink this tea. I like the canned green teas also, but not as much as the sparkling.
