I decided to try this product after hearing very good things about Taylors of Harrogate. Unfortunately this Earl Grey was very disappointing. I cannot be sure if the tea was inherently bad or that it was due to bad packaging. The tea bags were not individually packaged and when I opened the box, there was absolutely no scent of bergamot. The flavors had all but lost due to exposure to air, assuming the flavors were there when the tea was first blended. After steeping, there was a strong bitter taste and a very faint resemblance of an earl grey. The tea was not expired. In fact the expiration date is three years away. It's interesting to speculate what taste it will have by then.
I couldn't believe that this basket was sent out so promptly during the height of X-Mas season with fresh, well-packaged and complementary ingrediants. The choice was easy since there was a high yield of exceptional products for the price-a great value. Best testimonial is that I will use GourmetGiftBaskets again!
