Earnest Eats Hot and Fit Cereal

The 1 star review on this product that was the only review seems unfair to me. If you were looking for Quaker oats, then this would not be the cereal for you, but both myself and my boyfriend enjoyed the texture and the great nutty flavor of this oatmeal. If overcooked this hot cereal is mushy as the review said. I would opt for the stove top cooking instead of the microwave, but in either case don't overcook it. You could reduce the liquid slightly, because if you try to absorb it all during cooking you might overcook it, and then add more if you need it after it is done.

I bought this at Fresh Market and paid less then the over $6 price on Amazon. I believe it was on sale for around $3.50.

I am regular consumer of oatmeal, and prefer the plain 100 / serving calorie variety with no to low sugar where I mix in my own items to enhance the nutritional content and flavor whey protein, bananas, blueberries depending on my taste that day.

My wife bought Earnest Eats Hot & Fit cereal at Whole Foods on the recommendation of a friend with whom she trains. I gave it a try based on the strong nutritional content and clean / wholesome ingredients, and found it to be excellent in texture and taste. My wife and I now purchase via Amazon as a staple of breakfast and mid-day snacks -American Blend and Mayan are our favorites. Very filling, low sugar, dense with 'super food' grains and not overlay calorie heavy, and we believe better in taste than comparable sugar-centric offerings.

Compare it to Quaker Instant just as easy, just as fast in the micro (and I don't understand the other complaints about microwave sogginess, because to me this stuff has more/better texture than plain old oatmeal) and SOOOOOOO much tastier. I sweeten it (and cool it) by adding a tiny splash of Knutson's Pure Cranberry or a splash of fresh OJ. It has totally changed my morning routine for the better, and is lowering my borderline cholesterol as well!

I like the Asian Blend and the Mayan Blend (which is awesome with a cup of coffee).

If you like hot cereal, with pepitis, cranberries, almonds, sunflower seeds, then this cereal is for you. I found my first container of this in Target, I was so impressed after having the cereal for two mornings, I went back, and I guess other people liked it also, I was unable to find Earnest Cereal in any of our local stores, as always Amazon always comes through.

This is the best crunchy hot cereal I have ever had, add fresh berries, and it is a true ttreat, it's not sweet, just enjoy the crunchies.

Dalmatia Dried Fig Spread - with Orange (8 ounce)

I bought these thinking that I would try something different. These are amazing. Fig preserves are a southern tradition. I make my own fig jam in the summer; I will never be able to make it like this.

All fig preserves are pricey and this is no different. This is dense and sweet. Try it on a warm biscuit with butter.

My great aunt was here and wanted to make fruit filled cookies for me. I searched my pantry and found this sitting on my shelf, I had purchased it on clearance some time back but didn't know what to do with it. She used the whole jar to fill her rolled and cut cookies and they ended up being my new favorite cookie. this spread is the best fruit filling I have ever had in a cookie. Now I am ordering more to use on toast and to make some more cookies since we ate all of my aunts.

My son loves PB&J I like to be sure is getting the best ingredients. He likes this in place of Jelly on his sandwich. I love this on toasted bread, bagel, cream cheese and tomatoes. the possibilities are endless. Yum!

Excellent tasting fig spread. Almost addictive, I love it with Brie and crackers and also as a spread for my breakfast toast. It is Fig Jam so it is seedy and the seeds occasionally get under the dentures but it tastes good enough that its worth the trouble.

Bob's Red Mill Oat Bran Cereal, 40 oz

I thought this would be even less processed than oatmeal, but it actually seems smoother. It works well for fiber-rich muffin recipes.

We started eating oat bran every day as proscribed on the Dukan Diet. We both hit our goal weight and we continue to use oat bran every day. This is more readily available than the one from the Dukan website. We were delighted to find it on Amazon in the 40 oz. size.

Some of the other Ella flavors are good, but not this one. The bananas, apricots and rice flavor was very thick. It's much thicker than the fruit and veggie puree options for 4 months. This almost needs liquid added for beginner eaters. The flavor was not good. It has a slightly bitter flavor and aftertaste. Neither my baby nor I liked this option. Also I was concerned that when I was squeezing it from it's pouch, there were air bubbles in it. It probably is fine, but since air spoils food, I did not like seeing the air in the package. I recommend Happy Baby or Plum Organics over this brand, especially for rice blends.

Great product, very tasty. I recommend any thing by this vendor. It can be difficult to find food that children want to eat, especially when babies are just starting to taste food instead of just formula. This product is great and babies love it.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!! I am not really into coffee but I love a hot drink in the morning so cappuccino is perfect for me. I'm also not into the really heavy flavors. I love this French Vanilla cappuccino! It is exactly what I was looking for to make in my Keurig. You see, I am NOT a coffee drinker so I am always on the look out for tea or other speacialty drinks to make in my Keurig. This would be similar to the Cafe Escapes Cafe Mocha and Chai Latte. It is a mix that fully emties when you run it through the Keuirg. A word of warning to the die hard coffee drinkers...this is not your Starbucks cappuccino. It's more like your gas station cappuccino, which was exactly what I was looking for. Great taste even on the largest cup setting on the Keurig platinum. My new favorite morning pleasure.

This was very different from what I originally expected it to be. That being said, I found this to be probably the best k-cup I have ever had. It is very creamy and has a great hazelnut flavor. I enjoy a cappucino once in a while and I love hazelnut coffee. I expected this to be more of cappucino with a light hazelnut flavor. That was not the case. This is like a creamy coffee/hazelnut flavored hot cocoa without the cocoa. I was expecting something completely different but ended up being pleasantly surprised. This is a great after dinner or mid day pick-me-up and this will now hold a permanent row or two in my revolving k-cup counter top display. If you want a real cappucino, this isn't for you. If you want a great tasting hot liquid sweet snack, get this. I liked this so much, I will be ordering the French vanilla version to give that a try as soon as I complete this review. Also, you cant beat the price....less than $10 delivered to my door. Wooooo Hooooo!

This coffee is delicious. I would assume it's an instant blend, because the K-Cup is completely empty after usage. The caffeine content is low, so it's a great afternoon coffee that won't keep you up at night. If the price stays at 10 dollars with free shipping, it's a good deal. New England Breakfast Gift Basket Standard

My wife and I wanted to get a gift basket like this for her father for Christmas. We weren't going to be able to visit in person this year and enjoy Christmas morning breakfast and thought a gift basket would be nice. After researching tons of options I became frustrated that so often the shipping on products like this cost more than the actual products themselves. Let's face it, a pre-arranged gift basket of food is rarely going to be a "value". But when you add in shipping these things can be down right outrageous. We came across this basket and it was available with Amazon Prime free shipping. Not only that, it was less expensive than other alternatives we were looking at (some from other non-Amazon vendors). We went ahead and ordered this. It arrived exactly on time in excellent condition and, according to my father-in-law, it was excellent. I have no complaints and was happy to find this option.
