We love these bars. Sweet, salty, low calories. They don't have much of that "soy protein isolate" taste, which is good! The texture is great and it is definitely a treat - and it has a decent amount of fiber in it! Recommended!

These are quite good 90 calories each .77 ounces. Taste like chewy chocolate covered pretzels. Very satisfying. Currently not available on Amazon. I found at Walmart for $2.50 per box of 6.

Here's the thing: these bars are delicious. They are salty, sweet, and definitely hit the spot if you have that kind of craving. The problem is, as a "diet" item, they're terrible. The temptation to eat more than one in a sitting is high, and if you're able to resist the urge to eat more than one, you still want to go back to the kitchen to look for something else to munch on. Something about the combination of chocolate and pretzel just begs for over-indulgence. If you're serious about a diet, don't buy these. However, if you have more self-control and can be satisfied with a small 90-calorie bar, go for it. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Sometimes when I want a snack, I crave something salty, and sometimes I crave something sweet. This fits the bill at only 90 calories. Amazon doesn't show the nutritional information for this bar, so for those who are concerned, I will point out that the ingredients include both corn syrup and partially hydrogenated oil.

For those who like these chocolate bars but are looking for a change of pace, I'd also like to recommend the delicious Health Valley Tart, Chocolate, Multigrain, 6-Count 8.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6). It's got 130 calories but no corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oil. In fact, unlike Special K, all of the ingredients are pronounceable.

This is a very nice hot cereal. The five grains give it a somewhat nutty flavor and a more complex texture than regular oatmeal, and it's quick to cook on the stove at only about 6 minutes. I like adding Wyman's frozen blueberries and strawberries (I add those when the oatmeal is done cooking but the heat is still on, so the frozen fruit can thaw a bit) as well as a bit of maple syrup and milk. mmm mm mm.

I bought this cereal partially to benefit from the omega 3's from the flax.But the company admits their flax is in the form of WHOLE flax .It is a well accepted fact that little if any nutrients can be absorbed from the whole seed.I must admit the cereal is delicious.I recommend the multigrain cereal from Hodgson Mill or the 5 grain multigrain from Bob's Red Mill where the flax seeds are ground so they can be digested and the nutrients absorbed.

Oatmeal doesn't taste good to me without fruit and/or other sweetener, while this blend of oats and other grains tastes great as a savory porridge, to which grated cheese can be added. I've found that a single portion can be cooked in the microwave just so long as the container is big enough -use twice as much water as dry cereal (for example, 1/2 cup cereal, 1 cup of water), and it cooks fine in the microwave in six minutes. I don't think it saves any time, but it avoids the need for stirring, and if the container is something one can eat out of, that's one less thing to wash (I use a Pyrex 4 cup measure, which seems like a nice big breakfast bowl with a handle). Sometimes I mix the Old Wessex Five Grain Cereal with Bob's Red Mill Seven Grain Cereal -the Old Wessex is a flaked cereal, while Bob's Red Mill is steel cut, and usually takes a little longer to cook. When cooked up together (1/4 cup of each, combined with 1-1/4 cups of water -and I add a pinch of salt), the texture seems more interesting than the result with either individually.

I've eaten the 5 grain cereal almost every day (I do need to mix it up from time to time) for the past 3 years and feel great from it. I've lost weight, lowered my cholesterol and it keeps the pipes clean (if you‘re over 45 you know what I mean). Sometimes I add maple syrup, fruit, raisins, chocolate chips, and other add-ins for variety. It's MUCH better than commercial oatmeal and quicker to make than steal cut oats. Chef-mate Country Sausage Gravy, 105-Ounce

This is my absolute favorite!! I don't put it on biscuits like most people do, I put it on toast. I buy this for our Church breakfasts and they love it. Please change your advertising picture. Apparently chef-mate has a new can. I thought I had received the wrong item when I opened the package. Your description of this product should say, same great product, new can.

I bought this inexpensively and on an impulse while very hungry and shopping at my local "warehouse club" (I'm a pushover for all things gravy). I'm really glad I did, because this is actually really tasty and NOT black peppery. I don't digest black pepper well and am so glad this wasn't really peppered like a lot of sausage gravies. This has a mild, creamy flavor and slightly thick consistency with generous amounts of sausage bits/chunks throughout it. I had this with biscuits, but this would be good also with toast. Between the 5 of us in my family, this will get eaten up within the next couple of days (for breakfasts, snacks, maybe a breakfast dinner).

Our children liked this so well, they even suggested I get another can to add to our Christmas morning breakfast/lunch spread! I am also considering taking this and some biscuits to the next potluck meal, breakfast or not.

One of the best store brought gravy i have had. Rich, thick (actually improves if thinned with a little milk), and amount of saugage is excellent for store brought.

Obviously a LARGE can, so unless you have a small army to feed it needs to be stored. It only lasts several days refeiderated but i have had great sucess frezing 1/2 & 1 cup portions. I use sandwitch bags to hold the portions, freeze them and than vacuume bag several servings.

Clif Energy Bars

Great product in general, and the price is great when subscription is used. But the first batch came and one box in the pack was already a month expired. Having had them many times, they have a long shelf life (at least 6 months from what I've seen on the store bought packs) so I hope that isn't a pattern. I'll bump up the review if it turns out to be a fluke.

When they get to their expiration date, they get really dark, harder, and have more of the cardboard taste than the fresh ones.

Edit: The rest of the deliveries have been fresh so that was a fluke.

Added Comment: They keep shuffling the price! I subscribe at $.80/bar, they hike the price, I cancel, then lower the price, lather rinse, repeat.

I can get them for $.80/bar at Sams and Costco but it's a variety pack. There's only so much value in the convenience of getting only my fav bar without shopping, so I wish they'd stop testing and figure out a price structure! Cancelling again.

This particular flavor is one of the better ones out there. It has a very rich, very satisfying peanut butter flavor; even more than actual peanut butter in my opinion. I usually try to keep 3 flavors or so on hand. This is one of them and will be for quite some time. I would recommend this one, Oatmeal Raisin Walnut and Cool Mint Chocolate. Chocolate Chip and Black Cherry Almond are good, too.

I absolutely love these bars, however better price at WalMart instead of the subscription price here. About ten dollars a box at WalMart. In any event, they taste good and I've been eating one of these bars for breakfast, skipping lunch and eating a sensible dinner for about six months now. I've lost 40 lbs and I feel great. I'm currently at 194 lbs and being just shy of 6' I'm almost at an ideal weight for me. I realize these are not meant as a diet supplement or meal replacement bar but they certainly fit the bill for me. I'm tempted to eat more than one since they taste so good but I refrain. At 240 calories per bar I wouldn't reach for one of these as a snack but as a meal replacement bar or energy bar, as intended they are great. I believe these bars really helped me loose the weight I wanted to.

I'm trying to up my protein intake while reducing calories and fat. I tried the Banana Nut Bread bar because I usually like anything banana-flavored. This is very much like eating a slice of banana nut bread. It's not overly sweet. The previous reviewer noted that it's "greasy." It does have a somewhat moist/oily consistency, but I wouldn't call it greasy. I didn't find it to be objectionable because otherwise the bar would have been too dry and impossible to choke down. I didn't think it was gritty, either.

Bottom line: I like the flavor and the protein content, plus it's got some fiber (5 grams) and magnesium (25% RDA), which is a mineral I'm trying to increase in my diet. The bar isn't not over-sweet. Like other protein bars, this isn't low-calorie, so I have to keep that in mind.

What I do like is that the Clif bar is another thing that I can take to work and keep in my desk, to avoid going to Starbucks or the vending machine.

Planters-Nuts On the Go Snack Packs, 24-Count Variety Packs, 40.5oz Boxes

This looked like a great way to buy a variety pack of nuts, in snack sizes that would keep me from eating too many. The problem is that peanuts are sort of the "junk" nut if you're trying to eat healthy. (stick to almonds and walnuts)

Plus buying individual packs is more expensive. But the worse offenseseveral packages were rancid! It seemed to be the plain salted peanuts mostly. The honey nuts had a slightly off taste, but not as bad as the salted peanuts. The cashews were OK, but not as good as cashews I've had from regular cans of Planters. I think what might happen is that shipping in the summer in the Southern states causes a lot of degradation in the flavor in the packages.

Don't waste your money on this, because you just don't know what you're going to get.

This package of variety nuts is very convenient to have when on the go and for my son's lunch box, he likes these but the price on Amazon is too high for mostly peanuts. It is a much better price at Sam's Club for the exact same thing. I love buying on amazon (sort of an Amazon addict)because of the convenience and great prices but you do have to keep in mind Sam's Club is very competitive price wise it's just a pain in the neck going there (when spoiled by Amazon) plus always end up spending more and having to bring it all home. Love the free home delivery Amazon offers so if you want to pay more for the convenience then you should buy these on Amazon.

IN A NUTSHELL: EACH PACKAGE CONTAINED 2 OZ. OF FRESH PEANUTS OR CASHEWS

These 2 oz. packages are filled with fresh nuts with nothing but salt added [& peanut oil or cottonseed oil]. As snack foods go, this is a very healthy choice. Although expensive on an ounce for ounce basis, as portions of snack foods go, this is still a fair value and a relatively healthy choice. Bear in mind that about 75% of the 170 calories per ounce are from fat, but there are NO TRANS-FATTY ACIDS or CHOLESTEROL while there are some healthy mono-saturated oils.

My big complaint against many other snack-nut products is their lack of freshness, and in fact a rancid taste to the nuts which NEVER happened with these Planters nuts. In fact, each individual package has an expiration date clearly marked on the front of the package.

BOTTOM LINE: I PREFER THE LARGER JAR BECAUSE I EAT MORE THAN 2 OZ. AT A TIME

My preference is to get these peanuts and cashews in the larger jar and unsalted, but for the summer, the salt is okay and the freshness was consistent in every package.

I have ordered and reordered this item several times. The last shipment I received (two boxes) the package sizes had decreased from 2 oz to 1.75 for the peanuts and 1.5 for the cashews.

I realize this is from Planters and it's a sign of the times but the product description needs to be updated.

We like these at work but just like Granola bars, the price stays the same (or goes up) and the product size goes down.

We use this to sweeten up our raw oat breakfast, to which we add chopped apple, dried cranberries, nuts, cinnamon and rice milk or soy milk or juice and some frozen blueberries. This was discontinued for some time, so I'm very happy it's back on subscribe and save. It's a little pricey, but if you stretch it the way we do it goes far. We were stationed overseas for over 10 years, coming back stateside I did miss my Germany style Mueslis.

I ordered the Seitenbacher Choco Max (very good as well) and the Familia. What can I say: we managed to finish off the first package this morning (Family of 5). Mixed in with rolled oats it does make a very good breakfast. No artificial colors or flavors either, I love the crunchy clusters and the berry pieces, just the right amount for my taste.

The packages are smaller than expected for the price so I probably won't order this product on a regular base.

I saw this on sale at a local store and decided to try it. I was hooked, most stores that carry this price it around $3 or more plus tax. With an Amazon subscription I pay $2.74 per box for it.

I enjoy that this cereal is all natural with real cinnamon & sugar. So I don't mind paying a little extra for real ingredients. All I eat is this and Special K.

This cereal is really good. I used to really like cinnamon toast crunch, and I still do. I tried this stuff, and was surprised how good it really was. When you see a "healthy" version of something in the grocery store it usually doesn't taste near as good, but this is a pleasant surprise.

Not a whole lot to say really. It is just good cereal, and if you like cinnamon toast crunch or similar cereal it is definitely worth a try.

I usually eat special k protein plus, which I love but its nice to have another healthy cereal option-and this is it. I love this cereal,it tastes just like cinnamon toast crunch but this is healthy, whole grain, and not too sweet.it also has fiber and is only 110 cal per serving. I bought two boxes of this cereal from Big Lots for 4 bucks(great deal!) I highly recommend this cereal

This is a good, albeit unexciting breakfast tea from Stash. It is made from blended black teas. I much prefer Stash's Organic Breakfast Tea and Stash's Irish Breakfast Tea because both of those have distinctive and pleasurable tastes. However, there is nothing wrong with Stash English Breakfast Tea and it is a good change from basic orange pekoe tea. It can be brewed nice and strong without getting bitter (by brewing it longer), a sign of a good quality tea. Recommended, especially if you enjoy a simple, basic tea.
