I am not big on apple flavored food, but this is an exception. This curd has a wonderful fresh taste. To me it tasted like fresh baked apple pie when paired with a fresh hot homemade scone and whipped cream. Pleasantly surprised. The curd is a little thicker consistancy than I prefer but still very tasty. Oh so delicious.
