Heartland Malted Blueberry Belgian Waffle - All In One, Complete Mix - 80 Ounce Bag (Pack of 1) 5 l

I bought their Heartland Malted Vanilla Belgian Waffle, which the family loved and I'd give a 5 star too. My son likes this blueberry mix, but not as well as the Malted Vanilla; however, my daughter didn't like the blueberry flavor. There are actually no blueberries in this mix The "blueberries" are actually tiny granules made of sugar, color and flavoring. We're just going to stick with the Malted Vanilla, which we all love.

This is pretty good if you like a lot of blueberries. It's a little too much for me, though. There is so much blueberry flavor, you don't really taste the flavor of the waffle mix at all. I have bought the vanilla flavor, too, and prefer that one over this one. I think it's just a matter of personal preference.

These waffle taste great but why do they stick so hard to the waffle iron? I have been using the Carbon waffle mix and it has been excellent. They practicallly fall right off the waffle iron when I open it. These Heartland waffles stick so tightly that they split in the center and I have to pull and scrape them off the iron. What have others experienced? Are you using and oil on the iron? I have not needed any with the Carbon mix.

The waffles taste good and have a crispy exterior.The problem is the berries.The label says blueberry,not blueberry flavored.No berries,just food coloring.I would have purchased another flavor if I knew the truth.Before I ordered I looked at the label and it looked like there wer berries.What there is is little purplish specks.I try and eat more fruits and veggies and I feel like Heartland lied.Change the label.

Santa Fe Sausage Seasoning

We followed the directions closely for a 10 lb. mix of 1/2 venison and 1/2 pork. (We did mix the seasoning directly into the meat, then added a bit of water.) We then let it sit overnight in the refrigerator. We fried some patties up the next morning to taste test.

The pepper seasoning came through, not excessively so, but it did linger a bit. I have been known to like things hot (although my tastes have mellowed with age) and I would rate this between mild and medium. I have tasted commercially prepared breakfast sausage that tasted hotter. It definitely makes this a great sausage for using in spaghetti and other italian dishes. By itself, the sausage is very flavorable. We plan to pack 1/2 into casings and bulk store the rest for cooking Italian dishes.

I do agree with one reviewer, it is a bit salty tasting and could be toned down a bit. But, it is within the limits for a spicy sausage and will be fine used in other Italian recipes, IMHO.

I would buy this again, but back off of the amount to mix into the meat (due to the salt) and add other Italian seasonings.

This is a great blend for Italian Sausage. It makes a mild sausage with a little kick. It does 50 lbs of sausage and I make it in 10 lb batches. I measured the level of the blend(5") and with a permanent marker made lines every inch on the container for my 10 lbs of meat. I ground up my shoulders, mixed in the spices, then reground a second time. Some of the best sausage I have ever had. Tastes like NY style sausage with the fennel in it. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to save money on sausage. I estimated I have about 1.75 a pound into it where store bought is over 3.50 a pound. It is also very healthy. I will be purchasing other blends in the future to also try.

Was excited to try the mix and found it to be just expensive salt...sure, seasoning for Italian sausage does not contain too many ingredients but product flavor was lacking and was really almost all salt.

so i tried the garlic one and i made a mistake.... and didn't wear a gas mask when i used it ... i LOVE garlic but wow this is over powering in powder form when i first got it i opened it up to give it a smell and almost fell over it was like i got mased eyes tearing up nose burning regardless i bought it im trying it and i mix up some sausage and if you add water like it says it gets toned down so you can work with it after stuffing it and letting it sit for 24hrs for the casing to firm up i grilled them and im not impressed its not bad like someone just dumped a bunch of garlic powder in my sausage and no other spices i feel like it needs more flavor then JUST garlic powder i mean even salt and pepper would be nice

One 14 oz Alpen Cereal, No Sugar Added

I just got back from the Whole Foods located in the Chicago Lakeview area and saw this item on the shelf. This is made with GMOs. They have another one that is non-GMO but it's not the traditional Muesli. It's made with baked flakes. If you want a muesli that is not linked to cancer then stay away from GMO products.

This is a great european muesli cereal which my family loves. I like this no sugar added one, but my husband has a sweet tooth and prefers the regular one. Either one of these are great tasting.

Love Grown Foods Oat Clusters and Love, Sweet Cranberry Pecan, 12-Ounce (Pack of 3)

This granola is super tasty and also healthy. The ingredients are pure and simple, there are no surprises when you read the label.

I have not tried the other flavors that Love Grown makes, but this "Sweet Cranberry Pecan" is to die for! It's got a cinnamon and pecan taste and the dried cranberries give it a chewy texture when you get one in your bite. It's not overly sweet, just about the perfect amount of sweetness for my taste.

To the reviewer who gave this product 1 star and said it was not clustered sounds like your bag got smashed. That is probably the fault of whoever handled it either during storage, packing, or shipping and it's not the fault of the manufacturer. This stuff is clustered, crunchy and delicious!

The only problem is that it's addictive! You might find yourself wishing you had ordered more :)

My two favorite granola bars are Kashi chewy bars, all with the typical 7-grain mix: first Trail Mix, then Cherry Dark Chocolate; my spouse always opts for Dark Mocha Almond. To me, the Trail Mix bars are ideal: not too sweet, plenty of almonds, and good oats-and-granola crunch. The slightly sticky matrix is only enough to hold the bar together, without overwhelming the ingredients. The 140 calories (a bit less, for the other two bars) are nicely balanced: 6 g protein, 4 g fiber, 6 g sugars, and 5 g fat. No high-fructose corn syrup, no saturated fat, no cholesterol; low sodium (95 mg). Food, instead of candy (like the usual breakfast granola bar, with only 1 or 2 g protein) or medicine (the high-protein or high-fiber sports bars). I love the taste of Kashi Trail Mix, enough that I have to ration myself to two a day. Maybe the 1-star reviewer got a bad batch? Or maybe it's just that tastes differ.

I order these for an office of 100. They are one of the standard ones I always stock, because they are the CEO's choice. I had an employee, who twice told me these were "bad news" and tasted awful (obviously wanted me to stop ordering). I shrugged it off because we do run out of them so it's obvious some people like them. I ate one after she was so adamant concerning how bad they taste, and I have no complaints. I don't really understand how someone can hate them, but based on this employee, and the one star review on here, I guess opinions vary greatly on the issue.

I would have thought that perhaps this employee doesn't like Kashi bars in general, they aren't as high in sugar and other things that make things taste good but are bad for you. But I know she would eat the other Kashi choices. Weird!

These are totally delicious, and also one of the few breakfast cereals without high fructose corn syrup (even All Bran has that). They are a bit sugary but not too sweet. Certainly filling and just what I like for breakfast, and so do my kids.

I'm not sure why Amazon isn't doing this on subscribe and save (at least when I'm writing this), but seeing as almost every grocery store I know of runs out of these on a fairly regular basis, probably worth getting from Amazon.

I grew up eating Quaker Oatmeal Squares, and they're still my favorite cereal and a great source of fiber I tried Fiber One for a while, but the aspartame in it gave me headaches and Fiber One leaves an awful aftertaste. Quaker's doesn't have aspartame, and there's tasty brown sugar which gives it just the right amount of sweetness (the cinnamon sugar one is really good too!)

What I love about Quaker Oatmeal Squares is that they're perfectly delicious with or without milk. They're super crunchy without, and after soaking in milk for a while they absorb the liquid and become like cereal-milk gushers. I personally like that, but for those who don't, you can always just eat the cereal immediately after adding milk.

I was so excited about this cereal when I tried it. I bought it off Amazon here and when it arrived I dug in. Well I had a headache and nausea episode quickly following. I suppose I ate too much as the little sample I tried before did nothing to me. It has to be the food dye as any other cereal didn't do that to me. I used to be allergic to yellow #5 and #6 before (it would make me jump off the walls as a kid!). I thought I outgrew it. Maybe this is an "adult" allergy. Quaker, keep the food dyes out!
