Dr. Kracker Apple Oat Crunch Culinary Crisps, 6-Ounce Bag

Dr. Kracker Apple Oat Crunch Culinary Crisps, 6-Ounce BagFound at Marshall's and had to give them a try. Pleased with these! They do taste like a bland crispy dry version of apple flavored cookie not too sweet and not over powering flavor but pleasantly satisfying alternative to chips, crackers, cookies! My 15 year old and 4 year old sons both agree they are pretty good and they also are tough critics to please so that says something! :)

Found a bag of these at a discount store near my office and decided to try them as afternoon snacks. They are delightful. Light, very crunchy and not too sweet, with dried apple and seeds on top. Fairly low in calories, and high in fiber, too. They're not easy to find, unfortunately, so I'm glad to be able to get them through Amazon, at least.

A few years ago I bought some graham crackers from Dr. Kracker and they were some of the best grahams I've ever had. Shortly after this I couldn't find them anywhere. I contacted Dr. Kracker about this and a representative from the company said they had discontinued the grahams, but had rolled the recipe into this new product: Apple Oat Crunch. I was so excited to try these, and so let down when I did.

What used to be an extremely delicious graham cracker has turned into a bland piece of cardboard with a hint of apple. He must have meant they threw away the recipe for the grahams and created a new one using paper as the base.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Even if I had never eaten those original crackers, I have to say these aren't very good.
