I searched around for awhile trying to find a good, gluten-free bar that I can keep in my purse with me for snacks and emergencies. I never found one. And when I tried a sample of the Larabar Uber at Whole Foods one day, I was hooked. It was SO good. It literally tastes like banana nut. And it's probably one of the best bars on the market right now in terms of the ingredient list. These are a regular in my house!I am NOT a health food person, I like my chips & sweets way more than I like my veggies, lol. If you like Pay Day candy bars, these are really, really, really, really similar. Excellent flavor.Love these bars. The Uber bars are much nuttier and crunchier than the standard 'larabar', which is actually a good thing. Standard larabars feel more like you are eating a paste or candy or something because there are so many dates in it. They do taste good, but Uber bars are better. They taste more like you are eating real food. Roasted Nut variety is good, but Banana Foster is me and my fiancee's favorite. There is an Apple one I believe that is also good.

I only taste the nuts in this scrumptious product. The dates are there, but I couldn't taste them.I ate it about 2 hours ago and I still feel pretty full. The sugars are relatively low for a bar of this type.
I have a slight allergy to raw walnuts. If there were any in this, they did not affect me.
