This is one of the very few "snack" bars that provides many nutrients including protein. It is not a candy bar, doesn't taste like one, and does not create stomach upset. It is reminiscent of homemade blocks of healthy condensed fruits and nuts that my parents used to get from a friend. I'm not thrilled with the taste; I use them in spite of that aspect because it enables me to function without having to have a meal when I'm on the run. Even better is the bar by Organic Food Bar called simply Protein. It has double the protein of this one.
