Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Grain Cereal, Almond, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Grain Cereal, Almond, 16-Ounce BoxesIt really stinks that eating the healthiest foods costs the most but in my opinion, it's worth it. I love these cereals. The first case I bought from amazon was the original and I wound up eating it for breakfast, snacks, lunch, whenever, without milk or adding anything... I love the crunch and the taste. I actually ate the whole case in about 2 weeks and very little else... and it is amazing that I didn't gain weight, my bms were much better, and I had great energy and felt wellmy body was craving it. Try that on Coco Puffs, Cornflakes, and even any of the other "healthy" cereals in the healthfood stores!

I actually make my own sprouted grain breads and crackers which I could easily break up to make this type of cerealthere is nothing in the world like it, but it takes 2 days of sprouting and a couple of hours to complete the food processing and spreading on the baking sheet process, and then 3-4 hours of low-heat baking. So when I don't have time to do this, a very close second are the Ezekiel products (their bread, english muffins, cereals, and pastas).

Anyone who makes health their top priority will eat very little of non-sprouted grain products (flour products). For those interested, Amazon sells a book called the Essene Gospel of Peace which contains writings found in the Vatican archivesin this little book, Jesus teaches his followers how to make bread, and it has nothing to do with taking the dry grain and grinding it up into flour and using yeasthe teaches them to soak the grain, let the sun bring it to life, grind it up alive, and then let the sun bake it. That makes the only truly living, healthful breads and cereals.

Yes, these products will feel and taste different than most are used to, but the more one eats this type of real food, the more the body starts remembering and then one begins to really enjoy the taste and textures because they equate to life and health. :)

I tried this cereal with coconut milk and it taste wonderful. It adds just enough sweetness without ruining the whole idea of being healthy. If you add strawberries, a banana or some blueberries it makes it even greater. You'll get a protein serving along with a fruit serving! Definitely worth the nearly $5/box. Its expensive to be healthy....Pay the farmer or pay the doctor....

As an all natural product this is a good cereal. I don't eat sweetened products so this product is fine with me. It's hard stuff and takes a while to eat. It's also very dense and doesn't absorb too much milk. Try a small bowl and take your time eating it.

This is my new favorite cereal. I had given up cereal when I cut way back on carbs. Plus, most of them were just full of sugar anyway. When I decided to add some healthier carbs back into my diet I was looking for a healthy cereal with protien and fiber, but without sugar. I love cutting up a banana and topping my cereal with it. That way I don't have to add any sugar or sugar substitutes. Ocassionally I use stevia if I don't have any bananas or other fruit.

Kellogg's Rice Krispies Gluten Free Cereal, Whole Grain Brown Rice, 12-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4)

Kellogg's Rice Krispies Gluten Free Cereal, Whole Grain Brown Rice, 12-Ounce BoxesMy son has autism and is allergic to gluten among other things. I was so excited to see that Rice Krispies had come out with a Gluten Free version until I read the ingredients. BHT is NOT healthy! It is an ingredient in jet fuels, rubber, petroleum products, electrical transformer oil, and embalming fluid. The MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for BHT says the following: Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Combustible. Ingestion causes Abdominal pain. Confusion. Dizziness. Nausea. Vomiting. The substance may have effects on the liver. The substance is harmful to aquatic organisms. When Chex went gluten-free, they did the same thing. Yes, taking out the gluten is healthy, but adding BHT is not! I would have loved to have been able to buy my son "normal" cereal, with cute characters on the front. He would have loved it, but in the autism community, we are trying to get the toxins out of our kids, not put them in. I will continue to be a Erewhon Twice Rice Cereal customer. At over $4 per box, the price is steep, but I know the only ingredients my son is ingesting are organic brown rice, organic brown rice syrup, honey, and sea salt and he loves it. Shame on Kellogg's for putting BHT in our children's cereals!

These taste just like the Rice Krispies I remember as a kid!! I cannot even express my joy in being able to make AND eat Rice Krispie treats with my children. It is a tradition that many take for granted, unless you can't have gluten. These Rice Krispies still provide the "snap, crackle, pop" like the original version but don't contain gluten. I think I need to start a weekly delivery via subscribe and save. They make me feel normal. :)

Another reviewer was upset about the price being more than regular Rice Krispies) and though this does upset me too, it became a small issue after I tasted the gf version of Rice Krispies. They taste just like the regular version and I am so excited about making GF Rice Krispie treats! They are still cheaper and taste better than any other GF rice krispie type cereal. I am not sure when or if GF Rice Krispies will be available at a store in my area-so THANK YOU for making these available to us here online!

One of the main draws of this cereal was not only that it was gluten free, but also that it was made with whole grain brown rice. Whole grains both taste better and are better for you, and with the variety of whole grain products on the market today, there is no reason why anyone should settle for less. Unless, of course, you are gluten-free, and then your problems take on an entirely different nature. So it is with an eye for health and not just for Celiacs that I write this review.

First of all, as a gluten-free cereal, it does what it sets out to do: recreate the experience of regular Rice Krispies. And it does! The familiar snap, crackle, and pop are there, and though the cereal gets soggy a bit more quickly than the original, the diference is negligible. And of course, since there's no gluten, it won't make those of us who are gluten-sensitive sick.

But nutritionally, how does it compare to its gluten-laced counterpart? Well, first of all, it's heavier. The serving size is merely one cup compared to the original's 1 1/4 cups per serving. But one serving of each is still 33 grams. The gluten free version is very slightly lower in calories (120/serving as opposed to 128), but a little higher in fat (1 gram of fat and 10 calories from fat as opposed to 0.3 grams of fat and 3 calories from fat). It seems like a lot, but both are still extremely low-fat, and a serving of gluten-free rice krispies has a whopping 2% of the daily recommended amount of fat. Interestingly enough, the original has 0.1 g of saturated fat, while the gluten-free version has none at all.

The gluten-free one is lower in both sodium (190 mg vs. 299 mg) and sugar (

Honey Nut Cheerios Breakfast Cereal, 1.8 oz Serving Size Cups, 6/Box (GMCSN13898)

Honey Nut Cheerios Breakfast Cereal, 1.8 oz Serving Size Cups, 6/BoxWhat I thought I was buying was a different a case of the single serve bowls. 3 emails and still no response when i requested an RMA. Here's what we got. 6 1 oz bowls which sell for 1.09 ea at Target or Walmart add the shipping and the cost of 2.00 for ea total came out to be 3.99 for ea 1 and I repeat 1 ounce container (a large box of cheerios in the supermarket doesn't cost 3.99) We will never do business with these folks again. No customer service at all. We have given up not worth the aggravation anymore.

The description says you get 6 single serve 1.8 oz bowls. Now if you are willing to pay that for this product, then you will be very happy. Honey Nut Cheerios are delicious, so for that alone they get 5 stars.

Pacific Natural Foods Hemp Milk Original- Sweetened, 32 Oz Containers

Pacific Natural Foods Hemp Milk, Original, 32-Ounce ContainersMy daughter is dairy allergic and used to drink another brand of hemp milk, but they changed their recipe and added carrageenan which has been upsetting her stomach. I was so excited when I discovered Pacific Natural now offers hemp milk. Not only is it free of carrageenan and sugar, but it tastes great! It is also really high in calcium. It is reassuring to know that she's getting such a great dose of nutrients and the essential omega fatty acids.

I did a comparison taste test on this Pacific Foods Hemp Milk Original and the Living Harvest Tempt Hemp Milk Original. This hemp milk has a thicker-than-dairy, smoother mouth feel which comes from, IMHO, too much Xanthan gum. I also taste too much brown rice syrup sweetener. In comparison, the Living Harvest milk does not taste so much of faux creaminess and does not have an overt brown rice syrup flavor. It tastes more straightly of mild, sweet hemp milk. For these reasons I prefer the LH Tempt milk. I like the more natural texture and flavor. The PF brand seems good if you are trying to switch from cow's milk. However, if you are looking for something more natural tasting with less sugar, LH is better.

Update: The use of Carageenan is an important issue. However, the PF brand has more than double the amount of sugar and Xanthan gum which has some blood sugar lowering ability. I just don't feel good when I drink this PF Hemp milk and blood sugar levels are a primary concern for me. I feel fine, even energetic, when I drink the LH one. So, as with most things, choice is dependent on what works for you individually. Though, it seems like both companies should remove Carageenan from all of their milks.

My son loves this. He used to drink another brand but they changed the ingredients and he wouldn't drink the new version. I tried this one and he loves it!

Pacific Natural hemp milk is my first "purchase" choice; it is my second favorite hemp milk, though. Tempt has a silkier, earthier flavor that I prefer (as well as unsweetened offering), but it is too pricey for current $$ (don't want to cut other food choice options). With that said, Pacific Natural's hemp milk is my go-to and everyday hemp milk. The flavor still has enough of an earthy base and silkiness that makes me smile every morning (and I have it every day!). In my opinion, Pacific Natural hemp milk is the closest in texture and mouth feel to whole cow's milk; luckily, I also believe it tastes much, much better, too. It's also a perfect substitute for cooking/baking. I've recently tried Trader Joe's hemp milk (recent addition to their line), and it is a watered down version of hemp milk; so Pacific Natural is still my first choice. Do your taste buds, health, and earth a big favor and make the switch.

Ive been drinking rice milk for a year, its really watery though for cooking. Then I stumbled upon Hemp milk. I tried the organic pacific from a store and thought I was buying the organic. This is just about as good. The organic has a slight less nutty flavor. It works excellent for cooking. Makes mashed potatoes very thick. Cant wait to make pumpkin pie with it. I highly recommend it. I eat every day with my cream of rice. I mix it with the rice milk 50/50.

Tried another brand "Tempt". It wasnt as thick as this one. I like the thickness when using it for cooking. Didnt like the flavor of Tempt as much as Pacific brand.

Epicurien Rose Petals Confit - 125 g or 4.4 oz

Epicurien Rose Petals Confit - 125 g or 4.4 ozThe best rose petals jelly I have tried so far, really homemade flavor. Will order more . I highly recommend it.

Exactly what I was looking for! Taste just like the homemade rose petal jelly that a friend of mine used to make. Note the amount though; 4.4 oz, I was not paying attention and the picture looks MUCH bigger than the little jar I received. There was a moment of disappointment & then I opened the jar and tasted it: YUM!! :)

Very rosy!

Fig Bar

Nature's Bakery Fig Bar, Whole Wheat Raspberry, 24-Ounce BoxWe had these on a USAirways flight from Hawaii (who would believe we might get good food?) They were delicious, so found them on Amazon. Still just as good as I remembered ... I like raspberry the best!

These are simply the best fig bars i've ever eaten. I have given them to friends and relatives, who also quickly become addicted...you should not hesitate to purchase any of the flavors offered by this company! The layer of fig is thick and tasty, and the bars are quite filling. The cake part has much more flavor than you are used to with the brand names. Try them, you won't be sorry.

I first bought these at one of the new grocery stores in town and it was "love at first bite!" Then of course when I went to buy more, they were out of them and didn't know if or when they would get another delivery. I checked amazon and was thrilled to find them there. Needless to say, I bought a box of them for myself. They are a great mid day snack while in the go!
