I'm not going to pretend to be an Incan grains connoisseur, but I can say that I grew up in Peru and was raised with Kaniwa. This, my friends, is not Kaniwa; it's Kiwicha. People tend to confuse these quite easily and often even mix the two( I've seen many packages labeled Kaniwa/ Kiwicha). When I purchased this product, I was expecting the flour Kaniwa that I was used to. I got the grainy Kiwicha instead. Personally, I don't like Kiwicha, but I know there are many people that do. I'm not here to critize the product, but I am here to point out an unfortunate confusion.
