Master of Mixes Lite Margarita, Sugar Free, 33.8 -Ounce

Master of Mixes Lite Margarita, Sugar Free, 33.8 -OunceI got this margarita mix from a local liquor store. The lite will save you some calories if you are trying to stay away from it. Reasonably priced compared to other mixes.

The thing that I didn't like is the taste. It tastes like a bad diet soda. It really put a wet blanket on my margarita experience. Let me say, it dampened the spirits.

Earnest Eats Baked Whole Food Bar, Dark Choco Mint, 1.8-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12)

Earnest Eats Baked Whole Food Bar, Dark Choco Mint, 1.8-Ounce BarsI bought the Dark Choco Mint, as I fell in love with the Earnest Eats Choco Peanut Butter bars. Hmmmm...It seemed like a good idea at the time, as my favorite flavor combination is chocolate and mint. Not so much. They're okay. Makes me think of eating chocolate and then brushing my teeth. Admittedly, I would trade my Choco Mint in for Choco Peanut Butter in a flash...

By combining 2 of favorite items, chocolate and mint, earnest eats has created a masterpiece. I love these bars and they make a great addition to the lineup.

My only complaint is that we can't find them at the same places that stock earnest eats bars in store. I can only get them from ordering online. Can you please address this? I'm tired of paying shipping for these bars.

Tony Chachere's Injectables Creole Style Butter Marinade

Tony Chachere's Injectables Creole Style Butter MarinadeI made my first deep fried turkey last night. I generally use a pepper rub when I make turkey, but the oil would have washed it off, so I used Tony Chachere's Style Butter Marinade and was dazzled by the results! Everyone agreed it was the best turkey they had ever had. I highly recommend giving this product a try.

Please note--this is a butter marinade, not a spicy Cajun marinade. It's wonderful, but if you are looking for the heat, you may want to look at other alternatives. This was smooth and, as the name suggests, very buttery.

I tried this a couple years ago in a fried turkey. i wouldnt say its great (its better to make your own) but if youre a newbie to turkey frying and want something easy and simple then this is it.

the best part is that it comes with its own injector syringe!!

3/5 youre best off experimenting with your own recipe!

my deep fried turkey using this Tony Injectable was the talk of the day, night, and next day!!!!! So good that attendees asked if they could PAY me next Thanksgiving and Christmas to make them a turkey. Unfortunately I didn't fry the 2 turkeys as a marketing attempt....lol. I must add that this was my very 1st attempt at deep frying turkey and I had more request for turkeys than I can count. The peanut oil cost just as much as the turkey, so maybe I will make a "business" out of this next holiday season. Just have to figure out how many turkeys can I get per gallon of peanut oil.

I will never roast or fry another turkey without using this! It makes the meat tastes as if it were marinated overnight!

Have always used this to inject our turkeys at Thanksgiving. Makes the bird tasty, moist, and easier to get the dark meat off the bone.

Honey Bunches of Oats Raisin Medley, 17-Ounce (Pack of 3)

Honey Bunches of Oats Raisin Medley, 17-OunceGenerous amount of raisins, but I found it too sweet.

Liked the mix of different types of cereal flakes.

Having some almonds would make it perfect though

Would purchase this again, Good cereal for the value. Like the bigger boxes. Not a real fan of raisins, but this was good.

I love Honey Bunches of Oats cereal. This raisin medley is no exception. It is loved by everyone in the family. The combination of flavors is fantastic. I just wish the price was a bit lower for so many boxes ordered at a time. Mostly because the cereal doesn't last us very long! Will order again.

Post Grape-Nuts Cereal

Post Grape-Nuts Cereal, 24-Ounce Boxescheck you Grapenut Box's.. If it says MORE PROTEIN and NOT 100% WHOLE GRAIN.. you now have junk in your cereal bowl

I have been eating Grapenuts for breakfast for longer than I can to recall... It was the ONE cereal I could always count on to be simple... no sugar added and whole grain..

NOT ANY MORE..... some IDIOT chg'd the ingredients.. it now has GMO -SOY... and malt and several other ingredients.. the calories went UP and it no longer called it self .. 100% GRAIN..

due to putting the garbage GMO SOY into it.. it now cannot be sold in EUROPE which bans GMO products...

Oh and to make it even worse... this NEW FORMULA.. never gets softened.. and you can taste the soy in the product.

I have been a regular subscriber to this product NOT ANY MORE.

off to find another product that doesn't have junk SOY in it.!!!!

SO, so, so Disappointed in POST Cereal

They now lost this person as a customer.

They changed the classic recipe for grape-nuts and now they've got unhealthy soy protein isolate instead of whole grain--disgusting! I'm not going to buy these any more

Buy Post Grape-Nuts Cereal Now

After many years of loyally eating Grape Nuts, I am abandoning it b/c Post changed the ingredients to add more protein to the product in the form of highly processed soy. A recent article in the WSJ points out that manufacturers are adding protein b/c consumers ignorantly believe the more protein, the better, regardless of the form of the protein. Of course, these are the same consumers who jump on every little fad/buzzword of the day low fat, low carb, paleo, gluten-free, etc. without understanding the basics of nutrition and health an easy sell for manufacturers to add "Protein" on the box and get consumers to react positively (they think protein is a good thing see article below)

In a nutshell, Post did it to sell more of what is essentially a niche cereal (In case you haven't done your research, Post, lots of people simply don't like Grape Nuts and the ones who buy it are probably loyalists who are put off by the newly added soy).

Here's the WSJ article about protein.

Will not buy again unless Post brings back the real original version (whole grain wheat flour, malted barley flour, salt, dried yeast)!!

One of the attractions of Grapenuts was that it was just a basic cereal, with few added ingredients. Why can't they leave well enough alone? Sad. I won't eat it anymore.

I've been eating Post Grape-nuts for decades because it's one of the few cold cereals I can find that doesn't have sugar or oats or many additives, and I like it. This is all past tense now since I bought 2 boxes from a local store a few days ago and noticed the picture on the box was different. That prompted me to check the ingredients to be sure they hadn't changed as I'm allergic to oats and some other things and don't like sugar in my cereal. I had no idea what Isolated soy protein was and it really didn't sound dangerous, but I looked it up on the internet and it certainly isn't anything I want to be eating! I went to the Post web-site and was able to send them an email complaining about the new addition and the fact that there was nothing on the front of the box to indicate that it had new additives, in fact, they had added the word, "Original" to the box front. I did receive a fairly prompt reply saying that my comment would be forwarded to their Marketing Department. Today I noticed that Amazon.com has Grape-nuts and was showing the old box so I thought perhaps they still had an inventory without the toxic additive, but after searching their webpage carefully I found the ingredients with, "soy" as the last one. It didn't say Isolated Soy Protein, but I'm not taking any chances. I don't blame Amazon at all, and I'm gratified to see all the customer reviews also objecting to this new addition. So I want to thank Amazon.com for showing the list of ingredients on their website and giving us all an opportunity to share our discovery, disappointment and concerns about this change to a long-time favorite cereal. And please ignore the 1-star rating; couldn't get this review accepted without selecting a star.Post Grape-Nuts Cereal, 24-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4)

Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bars Oats 'N Honey - 96 Bars

Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bars Oats 'N Honey - 96 BarsI know this sounds crazy. I discovered this method accidentally one day when the oats n honey bar slipped from my hand and dropped into the sink. Not wanting to waste the food, I thought "eh, I'll just rinse it with water and gobble it up." Much to my surprise this rinsed half-bar tasted MUCH BETTER than the original. It serves two purposes: To "tenderize" the bar, making it become a soft tasty crunchy instead of the hard, uninviting crunchy, and also washes away a lot of the sugar making it a lot tastier and healthier (the bars are originally too sweet in my opinion). People have said "eat it with water" etc. which helps with the dryness, but it simply is not the same as rinsing or dipping in water. Ever since I started using this technique the bars have gone from merely good-tasting to heavenly.

These granola bars are crunchy, tasty, filling, and perfect with my morning coffee. Two bars per package. Although they are nutritious and convenient, each package equals 4 Weight Watchers (WW) points. Kashi bars (honey and flaxseed) contain more fiber, are equally delicious, but have only 2 WW points! Hoping to find this option in bulk on Amazon.com soon.

I bought a small box of these in a retail food store and found them really tasty. They also don't deteriorate into a melted blob of sugared crap when you leave them in a hot car. In fact it's one of the few granola bars that is mostly granola, and no extra high fructose corn syrup, sugars, etc. The 96 bar box lasts a long time and the per bar price about 1/4 the cost of buying them one at a time in a store.

Boxes contain 45 packs, hence the 90 bars so don't be surprised, comes out to about .47 a pack and at work they are .70 so it's a better deal for me.

Oats N Honey is the best flavor full of sweet and very crunchy. The only thing I would think to change are the crumbles that fall when I eat it. But even that I wouldn't change because I love the crunch and love the flavor. Yum!

Roland Kaniwa, 5-Pounds

Roland Kaniwa, 5-PoundsI'm not going to pretend to be an Incan grains connoisseur, but I can say that I grew up in Peru and was raised with Kaniwa. This, my friends, is not Kaniwa; it's Kiwicha. People tend to confuse these quite easily and often even mix the two( I've seen many packages labeled Kaniwa/ Kiwicha). When I purchased this product, I was expecting the flour Kaniwa that I was used to. I got the grainy Kiwicha instead. Personally, I don't like Kiwicha, but I know there are many people that do. I'm not here to critize the product, but I am here to point out an unfortunate confusion.

Wheatena Hot Cereal 20 oz - 6 Unit Pack

Wheatena Hot Cereal 20 oz - 6 Unit PackThis is the great cereal of my childhood (which used to be produced in a town named "Wheatenaville", honest! It has tons of fiber and a nutty taste and really stick-to-the-ribs breakfast. Even my little 18 month old grandson loves it.

Glad I could find it at Amazon. However, one caveat: the price that its sold at plus shipping makes this a gourmet indulgence indeed. Buyer, beware. You've gotta love it to buy it. However, I bought a case of it anyway.

The product specs describe it enough and so have the other reviewers. It's a HOT breakfast cereal. Best to add just a pinch (not more) of salt when you cook it to bring out all the flavor. When done, add milk (I like it just right, not too thick and not too runny) then a dash of sugar (or some Splenda). Especially on a cold winter day, you have yourself one of the healthiest cereals around. For sure!
