FiberPlus Antioxidant Bars, Chocolate Chip, 5-Count Bars (Pack of 12)

FiberPlus Antioxidant Bars, Chocolate Chip, 5-Count BarsThese bars are fantastic tasting. They do have 7g sugar per bar (for a 36g bar that's nearly 20% sugar). For people with a sweet tooth like me, these are a great alternative to other chocolate, candy, and less healthy snack bars. Sure, there are plenty of things out there that are better for you, but I've yet to find any that taste like this.

These bars are great, but the Kellogg's FiberPlus Bars, Dark Chocolate Almond, 5 Bars, 6.3-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) are even better!

Here is the full nutritional information per 1.2oz bar:

120 Calories (40 fat calories), 4g Total Fat (2g saturated fat), 0mg Cholesterol, 55mg Sodium, 26g Total Carbohydrates (9g dietary fiber, 7g sugars), 2g Protein.

10% Calcium, 4% Iron, 20% Vitamin E, 20% Zinc.

I'm a guy with stomach problems and need more fiber in my diet so i switched over to fruits and vegetables and these. These are really good and have a substantial amount of fiber, and its a good price. So these are not just for women as the commercial usually only includes women while advertising these.

I found these at the grocery store about a year ago and thought I would try them. I need all of the fiber I can get and they are 120 calories. The first time I ate one I was shocked at how good it was. They are better than any candy bar that I have ever eaten. My daughters even love them. Needless to say I am addicted to them. It also helps knowing that when I eat one it is not nearly as bad for me as a candy bar. I would definately ecommend that everyone ty thse bars. They come in Chocolate Chip and Clocolate Chip with Almonds. Hope this helps

With subscription it comes to 2.50 per box or 50 cents per 1.2 oz bar. A reasonable price and I do not have to remind my wife to get them for me at the store.

I keep these handy at work. If I get hungry and do not have time to eat, these tide me over quite nicely and are very tasty and handily satisfy my chocolate cravings if I am under a lot of stress (which I used to fulfill with Fastbreaks which, per oz, have 40% more total calories, 60% more fat calories and 1/7th the fiber).

I actually prefer the chocolatey peanut butter, however it seems to come and go from Amazon's offerings: FiberPlus Antioxidant Bars, Chocolatey Peanut Butter, 5-Count Bars (Pack of 6)

There are many alternatives out there, but I find that these have the best ratio of taste, cost and nutrition out there right now.

Warning 1: Some people have trouble breaking down chicory root fiber and may wind up with more gas than they'd like, but like beans, there is a good chance it will go away with repeat consumption.

Warning 2: There are a lot of man-made ingredients and many would not consider that to be "healthy".

Another big bonus with Amazon subscription is that they are probably a LOT fresher than the stuff you buy in the grocery stores. It may be coming directly from the factory as it arrives in a Kellogg box, not an Amazon box (tho it does have an Amazon return address).

I used to bring one of these tasty bars to school with me every day for a little snack. I realized that I had been more gassy than lately but didn't think too much about the cause. Then my grandma would comment on how they made her gassy all day & I thought maybe these were to blame but wasn't too sure. I just had one again for the first time in a while & was passing gas all day :/... Now I'm sure these things are the cause. I'm sure it affects everyone differently though. But for taste, these are delicious especially if you're looking for a little extra fiber in your diet. Next time I eat one of these bars I'll be sure that I'm staying home all day.
