I am a big fan of the granola and this packaging makes it an even better value. The bags are not hard to deal with at all, I just chip clip them at the top once they're opened. The granola itself: It stays crunchy for a long time in milk, not too sweet, no wheat in it, loaded with health benefits. No fruit or nuts, so I add my own to taste. This is on my short list of products I can't live without.
It's not plain Sugar but ***organic evaporated cane juice AND organic oat syrup solids AND organic molasses*** so it's too sweet and more importantly not so very good on blood sugar levels so not a great option as a breakfast as blood sugar will be affected all day.
Too bad, b/c we did like the product. Hope they change it to a less sweet version soon.

I probably eat to much of this granola. I switch between the hemp and pumpkin varieties. The subscribe and save price is unbeatable. It's great with milk, yogurt and even water, yes water. I have been trying to become svelte -or less substantial -all my life. Q'ia is the first product that helps. It's protein-rich, organic, and it expands 16 times its original size in the stomach. I have mixed it with oatmeal, sprinkled it on toast, or simply downed two tablespoons (140 calories) before breakfast. The result is that I have been feeling FULL -not uncomfortable -and happy. And although I can still see myself in the pond, I have lost weight without feeling deprived. Another review on Amazon carped that the product was expensive and that anyone could go to a health food store and put together the ingredients. I contacted the manufacturer to ask if it is gluten free. They emailed me: "Our light oatmeals that come in the boxes are gluten free. The ones in big cups are not gluten free." However, I do not think they use certified gluten free oats. I have a gluten sensitivity and do not have any symptoms after eating this. However, if you have celiac, this product is probably not for you.This oatmeal is the best! I've been eating Quaker maple & brown sugar since I was a kid and and this blows Quaker away! If you order McDougall's through subscribe and save the price is exactly the same as Acme store brand maple and brown sugar. The consistency is different than Quaker. Probably the biggest difference I noticed is with Quaker I've always noticed a grainy type texture with every spoonful. Guess I just got used to that over the years. With McDougall's, all you can taste is the real oatmeal flavor with a nice touch of maple and brown sugar. Subscribe and save has made going organic much easier on my pocketbook too. There is no dollar amount on the fact that it gets delivered to my front door, saving me precious time and gas from going all the way to the nearest Whole Foods for a healthier chioce in eating. Twinings K-Cup Tea Sampler
Our recent purchase of a Keurig has given me the task of finding k-cups that I enjoy. I originally ordered a sampler that had some celestial seasoning and bigelow teas and enjoyed them both; more than I expected. I thought I would try this sampler to see how I liked this brand and was not impressed. Both the Earl Grey and Breakfast Blend I tried were very weak. I checked the expiration dates and they are all still new and fresh. I had my husband taste them to make sure it wasn't just me, and he agreed they were weak.So I went out and purchased the bigelow Breakfast Blend to try next as I liked their Earl Grey and could tell right away it had a much stronger and more pleasant flavor, especially when sweetened with quality honey.
I don't foresee ordering this brand again and can't recommend it either.

I love biscotti and I always keep an eye out for new bicotti to try. I found this on Amazon while doing a search and have to admit that the packaging really caught my eye, and the ingredients (hazelnut, orange zest, and olive oil) intrigued me. My three boxes arrived yesterday and I couldn't make a cup of coffee fast enough to try these with.They did not disappoint! In fact, they are divine. They have a delicate hazelnut flavor with a dash of exciting orange zest that aren't lost when dunked in coffee. They're also not too sweet, they're just right. They are the small-sized biscotti (a bit bigger than a man's thumb) and have a nice texture that is different from your typical super-hard crunchy biscotti (they have a smoothness that I'm guessing is the olive oil).
These are an indulgent treat that I'd feel proud to serve to friends with coffee or tea. I'm looking forward to trying their other flavors.

Some people would list the sugar/high fructose corn syrup as a
negative, but those people must not have very high metabolisms
because these have less sugar in them than a cup of 100% fruit
juice and I find that I burn it off just typing all day. Otherwise,
I haven't found any negatives.

I compensate the sweetness by mixing one part of this granola with two parts of quick oats. or-else its to sweet for me, seriously its like eating dessert for breakfast.
Verdict: Good product which can compete with Kashi's product line, but unit price and sweetness is twice as much as any of kashi's granola. I will stick with Kashi for now

Purely Elizabeth granolas are by far my favorite granola. It is not too sweet, stays crunchie even in milk and I think it is the healthiest granola out there.

After reading the positive reviews I decided to try this cereal. I'm not impressed. It's too sweet with lots of sugar. There are 14g of sugars per 2/3 cup serving. Some ingredients like the dried fruit and oats are hard while others like the cereal flakes are soft and absorb milk. If you let the hard parts soften up with milk the flakes turn into mush.Familia makes a lot of great cereals and I'm surprised they let this one out the door. They must think Americans are sugar-crazed Coca Cola addicts. I really like the Familia Low-Fat Musli and suggest you buy that instead.
On the plus side this cereal has a lot of dried fruit. It tastes good if you eat it quickly before it gets to soggy.

I bought this on a whim trying other granola's that were sweet yet tasty. I like to mix granola with cranberries that are also very sweet. For the purpose of food, "organic" means raised or cultured without the use of pesticides and other chemicals. It does not mean "raised in a mythical land without pollution" or even "good for you." Lotus Foods looks to be a California company so my guess is that this was certified organic in the US, not China. The objections of the other reviewer are silly -sure, Chinese cities are polluted, and the country has many other problems, but this does not mean every kernel of rice from this vast expanse of geography is inedible. I have eaten this rice and I love it; it has a great flavor and texture, and it holds together well if you want it to. Its green color is visually pleasing. And it is no more inherently unsafe based on being from somewhere in China than a carrot from North Carolina inherently tastes like cigarettes.

It has become a habit for me for some time to step away from edible products that carry the made in China tag. It saddens me since some things are rare and not easily found. This was only the second item I bought this year knowing that it was produced in China, however, even after cooking it I still kept thinking that I had poisoned myself some how. It was a strange feeling that just would not go away, all due to the made in China label. I'm certain that I would not buy this product again even though I really enjoyed cooking with it, since I'm simply far too skeptical of the very polluted soil this rice may have been grown on.How can such a great country have gone so wrong for so long that even buying a wonderful bag of rice can feel like a mistake some how? Just a thought.I was so excited to read about this product in Bon Appetit until I saw it was grown in China. Since the air, water and dirt are all toxic in China and their certification process of organic is wildly lacking, this product is not what I consider safe to feed my family or guests. :(
