Too much cinnamon tends to leave a bitter taste and cling to the tongue. This is by far the best tasting granola I have tried. It offers a unique mix of ingredients that complement a healthy diet. I purchased my first bag from Whole Foods. Now that I know how good it is, I will be ordering in bulk to save money. The only negative is the portion size listed is not a realistic portion unless you are just sprinkling it on another cereal or yogurt. I eat it by itself and eat at least a double portion. I wish it had a little less agave. It would taste just as good and have fewer calories.

... And that is saying a lot. I have been making my own granola for years and was content to never buy it in a store again. My toddler had different plans, however, when she slipped this into our shopping cart at a health-food store while on vacation. My husband paid and figured I'd put it in the cart; he never suspected this was a stowaway. We were both surprised that we'd made this accidental purchase when we arrived at home I mean, an $8 bag of granola?! Later that night I had a bowl with milk as a snack and oh. my. goodness. I grabbed that bag and read through the ingredients, wondering how the heck this Elizabeth person got that perfect crunch. It's not break-your-teeth crunch here, it's subtle, almost a soft crunch. Amazing texture. Wonderful flavor. Healthy ingredients. I am completely hooked on this stuff. I won't dare try the other flavors because granola perfection is in the original. As soon as I find puffed amaranth, I'm going to try and make this at home.ETA: the subscribe and save price is too high. You're not saving much money when this cereal sells for $6.99 at whole Foods (and is on sale frequently enough). I think ordering in bulk warrents a savings of more than a few measly cents.I just tried this for the first time today. I've been gluten-free for three years, and while there are certainly fairly good gluten-free granolas out there this is by far the best. Not only does it taste great, it's not overly chewy like others, it doesn't contain rice flour flakes, the dried fruit in it is not like chewing on old tar pieces, and the ingredients are so much better, which more than justifies the small price increase above other g-free granolas of the same size. I could do with a little less sweetness I think (plus, I eat it with coconut milk beverage, so that adds some already), but the stuff tastes like a delicious healthy dessert to me. I already don't like much sugar to begin with, so I imagine most people won't feel as if it's overly sweet. It's also made with coconut oil awesome, and coconut sugar awesome. I was surprised by how much I liked this stuff. Thanks, Purely Elizabeth, for the terrific food. I look forward to trying more from you, and I'll definitely recommend you to readers of my food and health blog.

This is the most delicious granola I have ever eaten. It is sweet, salty, crunchy, oaty, everything I want my granola to be. I am aware that it is very healthy as well, but I am hooked on the taste.
