Newman's Own Organics California Raisins, 14-Count Packages (Pack of 12)

Newman's Own Organics California Raisins, 14-Count PackagesBecause the 14-count bags are sealed separately, these have lasted a long time. I am finally starting my 12th bag after probably 6 months. Very tasty, very few stems or "leathery" raisins, all pretty plump.

0.5 (half) ounce boxes perfect for little hands. There are 14 little boxes in each larger sealed plastic bag as pictured and described. 12 plastic bags full of fourteen 0.5 ounce boxes(so you are getting 168 little boxes, just to be extra clear). My 14 month old loves these and so do I! Will purchase again using subscribe and save. I think these are better than the red box brand you can get from any big box store.

I really love Newman's Own organic raisins and eat them all the time. I thought that buying 14-count packages was such a great deal until they arrived and I realized just how tiny these boxes were! They are mini, mini size, around an inch big. I have to use 3 or 4 of them at a time to make a nice snack mix. The raisins themselves are 5* and are always the perfect texture and delicious. I have gone back to the 15oz. size containers, which are much more practical.

My son has autism and as such we are careful of everything he eats as some studies show that children with autism may have it due to their body's inability to deal with toxic materials (such as heavy metals or pesticides) as easily as the rest of us.

Grapes are a prime example of pesticide retaining fruit, which is why should always wash grapes with a little detergent and then rinse them thoroughly before eating.

We don't need to worry about giving my boy these raisins though, they are delicious and the tiny extra premium we pay for them is well worth it, even if your son is NT. They come in little boxes though, so once you open the big bag be sure to seal them off so the grapes won't dry up if you don't eat them fast enough.

I made GFCF banana bread with these little guys in it and it was so good! My kid even tried it and finished his half-slice! And he is such a picky eater :) (I had to toast it because he doesn't like the mushy crumbly texture of GF bread, but still).

They're also great as a snack both in terms of yummyness and convenience, after his pool therapy he likes to sit down and eat a box or two in the shade, he even works at his fine motor skills by taking them out of the little box by himself!
