I purchased this product for storage purposes. I have not sampled them: they do not come with sealable covers so I've left them in storage for problematic times.I can say that the protions are small. I store such foods reckoning on feeding several children and grandchildren. Given the small can sizes, they wouldn't last long. The sturdy packaging makes it possible to transport them without undue care. I can throw them in the back of the vehicle without concern. They deserve a good try and I will do that shortly. They are expensive and the shipping is pricey, and I will not purchase more unless I find the quality outstanding. One might consider single larger cans a beter buy.
