I used to always eat Steelcut oatmeal but I am so bored of it, and it doesn't have much in the way of protein. I discovered this product and love it because it has way more protein from chia, flax, etc. and is so versatile! I can't stand flavored hot cereals, they always put too much sugar in it. I love that this is lightly sweet and naturally sweetened so I can dress it up.
I love eating it 2 different ways:
1. I just put a few tablespoons into a smoothie that I sometimes blend in the morning. Its good for extra fiber and the little bits of dried fruit and yummy.
2. I eat it like I used to eat my oatmeal I add hot water, then top it with plain greek yogurt, add chopped bananas for sweetness and nuts.
I wouldn't eat it alone, to me it is a healthy base that you can customize however you prefer.
